This was a nice place and very clean and well maintained, but the description on this site was quite misleading. This property is not "beachfront" or "waterfront," since between this cottage and the beach are a road, another row of houses and 50' of grassy dunes. I don't mind the dunes, of course, but the other houses between this cottage and the beach definitely should preclude "beachfront" from being part of the description. The description also claims the front deck "overlooks the water" and this also is a stretch. Yes, there is a water view; however, one must look through the power lines and around the houses between this cottage and the beach in order to see it. Pricing would have been OK for true beachfront, but I thought it was little steep for its actual location.
On the positive side, the cottage was spotlessly clean and very well stocked, including things like paper towels, toilet paper, and laundry detergent. The beach is beautiful, and the whole area is secluded and quiet. The owner was prompt, friendly, and accommodating. Since there is no cleaning fee charged, renters are expected to thoroughly clean before they leave, which is not a problem for us, but others might dislike this policy. Families should be aware that the only bed for mom and dad is a fold-out couch in the living room, unless you want to do as we did and push the twin beds together in the front bedroom. Again, not a big problem for us but something for families with kids to consider.
