This home is a beautifully furnished cottage in historic Oregon City. The living/dining area and the large bedroom overlook the back patio, which offers nature at its best. Enjoy the garden and the visiting birds with a breathtaking mountain view.

The modern kitchen and dining area boast gorgeous marble counter tops. Appliances include a side by side refrigerator, dishwasher, micro/convection oven, smooth top stove with oven, coffee pot, and a toaster. It is a full use kitchen for take-out or a home cooked meal.

The living room is furnished with glider and recliner chair, and a sleeper love seat. A large flat screen tv is over gas fireplace. Slider doors open to a peaceful patio surrounded by nature and a view of mountains to the east.

There is a comfortable queen size bed in the bedroom with lots of built in cabinets for clothing and storage. A large flat screen tv is available to watch your apps like Netflix. A ceiling fan offers a gentle breeze and there are four windows for fresh air.

The bathroom has a tiled shower, marble counter top with single sink. The under sink and mirrored medicine cabinets provide plenty of storage for toiletries.

There is off-street parking for one car.

We stayed at this lovely cottage while visiting family. Everything was as presented. Very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. House is located in a nice neighborhood which is close to many stores and restaurants. Great communication with the owners as well. We will look forward to our next stay.

Great location and cottage

Enjoyed my extended stay at the cottage. Communications with the owner were informative and very quick. Kitchen was well equipped - I cooked while at the location and had no issues. I felt right at home. Family next door was very kind, and the dog is big AND SO SWEET! I would definitely stay again.

The hosts were very quick to respond to a shower head issue. The grounds are beautiful the house was clean and very well stocked with everything you would need. We stayed for 10 days and loved it! They had a washer & dryer in the home for convenience (we didnt need to use it but was to nice know it was there if we did). Best VRBO we have stayed in yet!!!

We had an amazing stay!

We visited Oregon for fun and business for 3 weeks, staying at 3 different places. This one was by far the best. It was comfortable, easy to book and at a competitive price overall. This clean cozy cottage had all the comforts of home, and the amenities we needed. (And then some) The decor reminds me of my Grandma's home. It's very peaceful sitting in front of the fireplace or sitting out on the patio watching the birds and squirrels play in the park like garden areas. The bed felt very comfortable to me. Our small dog enjoyed walking with us to the dog park just up the street. He made a few new friends on the way and after he got there so he was always anxious to go out on a walk. Instruction for Checking in and Checking out was a one-page outline- very clear, concise directions. The location was great too because it was close to shopping centers and fun things to do. Oregon City has a lot of Pioneer History if you are interested. I highly recommend staying here. 5 Star recommendation.

My parents loved it

We rented the Cottage for my parents for a week to escape the heat of AZ and be closer to us. They loved the place! Said it was just perfect for them. Debbie was fantastic to coordinate with on their arrival, rolling with the changes induced by the chaos that was going on with their departure from AZ that changed their arrival date 3 times in the last week.

Wonderful Cottagr!

The cottage is perfect. We were so comfortable and had everything we could need for our two week stay - nothing was lacking. It was quiet and peaceful. There were two beautiful parks within walking distance and we even enjoyed a little league baseball game one evening. Very convenient/short drive to downtown and restraints/food carts. Our hosts were welcoming and wonderful - quick to respond to questions and very helpful. Enjoyed every minute of our stay due to their attention to detail and hospitality! Thanks so much!

Lovely cottage in suburbs of Oregon City

The overall stay was great. A few notes: it's difficult to receive mail here, so if you need to, make sure you coordinate with the host, as the cottage itself has no mailbox. You can receive packages shipped with Fedex/UPS, but the USPS has trouble finding the cottage because it shares the property with a much bigger house that's situated by the main road. The hosts were very responsive, and when we had issues in the apartment, were quick to solution with us. The amenities were all we could ask for: coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, dishwasher, crock pot, cooking and baking stuffs, spices, dishwashing supplies, cleaning supplies, etc. The bathroom was fully stocked as well, with plenty of toilet paper, toiletries, even qtips. The host provided linens and towels, which was unusual from our other VRBO stays, but very appreciated! Our kitties were welcome, and enjoyed the space as well. The fireplace was amazing for cold mornings, and the kitties roasted like little hams in front of it. If you have more than one vehicle, you will need to coordinate with the host to park it in the breakdown lane on the street. There is only room for 1 car inside the parking area on the property.

We (Craig and Debbie) recently retired from a meaningful 20 year career of caring for senior citizens living with dementia in two family style homes we built specifically for that purpose. We now offer those homes, slightly remodeled, at affordable pricing to independent adults over 55 where residents enjoy their own bed and bath, sharing the well appointed common spaces. Our 600 sq ft cozy cottage is located adjacent to these peaceful settings. We built it in 2013 as an in-law unit for Debbie's mom. Since acquiring the property in 1993, (we came to Oregon from New Hampshire) we have worked hard to create a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere. It is heartwarming to us to know that cozy cottage guests have a get-away that they can truly enjoy.
