The check in process as well as property manager were great. We had everything we needed as far as towels, tissue, things like that but there is a big problem. We were not able to cook or bring any food into the cabin due to roaches. The inconvenience of having to leave everything we own in the car was a wreck but other than that we had no complaints. We were able to speak with staff who have offered a discount stay next time so that made things better.
It is a very nice place. The only thing out of place was the hard floors weren’t swept. Upon moving the couch closer to the tv for gaming purposes. I found food from a previous guest. Not a huge deal I swept it and still had a great vacation. Can’t let a few crumbs deter you from enjoying a great cabin with an amazing view
My husband and I stayed in this cabin for our honeymoon a year ago and loved it so much we stayed there for our one year anniversary and are already planning to come back next year! Only thing I would have to say about it is it needs a new shower head! But that is a super easy fix! Other than that we love it! Super clean! Great location! And that view!
Cabin was great
Christmas Tree was a plus

Dead lady bugs everywhere
We booked 5 nights here and left after the second night. When we arrived there was at least 1000 dead lady bugs on the floor, counter tops, window seals, and fireplace. I called about the problem and they offered to come clean it but they would just come back the next day and they did. Pretty much the same about that was there when we arrived was back. Supposedly the lady bugs are very bad this time of year but I never saw anything about that on the listing until we arrived and there was a sticker on the fridge about it. I would say the maintenance/customer service department was pretty nice. I asked for a refund and they said they would give a refund for the days we didn’t stay but we’ll see if they actually do. The hot tub also wasn’t working and they offered to come fix that too but by that time we were just ready to leave. The cabin was cute but I definitely would NOT recommend at least during lady bug season.
Beautiful small cabin away from the busyness of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but close enough to both locations! Enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the sound of the River!

Ok experience
Although the property had some great views still was a house right in front view .The hot tub was nice . Overall the property could have been cleaner and windows needed cleaning I would give it a ok experience. Company needs to work on costumer service and communicate better .
We really enjoyed the cabin. Finding it in the dark the first night was challenging and from then it was great. The hottub stopped running the first morning, we called and it was fixed by the time we returned that night. Loved the calm and quiet. A great stay.
Honestly only minor issues, overall it was excellent.
Pros:
- Cabin was very clean, water worked fine, ammenities worked fine.
- Location isn't all that far from Gatlinburg
- Overall, no major complaints. Cabin was in great shape.
Cons:
- Pool table had a broken stick so could only use one (minor)
- Switch for fireplace was a 15 min timer you can hear buzz the entire time
Overall a great stay, if I can I would come back to a different cabin (or the same one).
My fiancé and I wanted to get away for the weekend and we had the best time! The cabin was so clean and nice and in a perfect area! We will definitely be back.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Location was nice, near enough to the river to hear it, and the cabin was very clean and well stocked for just the two of us!
location was great (Amazing view), inside of cabin could have been cleaned better ( silverware had a residue on it, so all the dishes had to be hand washed). The Hot tub was spot on after a day on the slopes. Overall good stay.
Love this cabin. Beautiful view. Cabin was clean and cozy. Very secluded but not too far from Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge. When we visit again we want this cabin. It’s on a dead end road only one other cabin. Nice no traffic

Quiet Birthday getaway.
Great quiet , cozy and secluded cabin with a mountain view. Wifi is spotty and the whole place could use a deep cleaning(windows, kitchen, new grill )other than that it is a good choice for a quick and short trip.
This cabin was perfect for my solo little getaway. The view was beautiful and the location is perfect if you want something peaceful and quiet. Only a short drive to Gaitlinburg or Pigeon Forge. The narrow roads were not my favorite as my anxiety sky rocketed but I managed. The hot tub was my favorite and became very useful after I hiked almost 12 miles up and back down Rainbow falls mountain. I didn't realize those hiking to the top were staying at the lodge. Lesson learned. 😖
Yes, there were a lot of dead love bugs by the front door and windows in the kitchen but I'll take that over other kinds of bugs. The property was clean otherwise.
The only complaint I have- if you want to call it that as it's really more of a preference, is the bed was too firm. I do feel like the side I slept in had a dent but overall it wasnt terrible.
I would stay in this cabin again if I get a chance to come back to the area.
Pizza left in fridge, toenail clippings on floor, rug was very worn, pool table was abused and only one usable que, out of cabin facing sun needed some love. The positives...... very quite and private. Hot tub was very private. The river below was nice to hear at night. Great fireplace and bed was comfortable. Great for 2 people to spend romantic time together. We have some negatives but we would still go back again because the positives were better than the negatives.
My new husband and I decided to come here for our honeymoon and were super excited! Unfortunately we encountered the following issues:
We checked in about 40 minutes after check in time and it wasn't clean. It says in the agreement that is a possibility however I thought with the extra time the cleaning crew would be able to clean it but nope. Based on the fact that property owners cannot guarantee a check in time, we will not be staying here again, we will instead go somewhere else where the owners can actually pay a good cleaning crew to get the job done on time to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Due to this I had to call and of course nobody was there since it was the weekend (which I expected) but I still left a message requesting a call back. We never got a call back to even apologize. Once again, poor customer experience. If they had just called to apologize, I probably would've rated this review differently.
After leaving the message I called maintenance and Jeremy was great and said he would call the cleaning crew and see if they can get there soon. Apparently they got backed up pretty bad, which is totally understandable but the right thing to do is to at least let people know that their check in is being pushed back so they don't go get groceries and have them sit in their car until the cleaning crew finally gets there to clean. It's basic common courtesy.
Lastly, they claim to have wifi, they do not, they have a hotspot which has no signal/service which was disappointing.
The cabin itself is great and the view was beautiful but due to lack of customer focus, we will not be staying with this group again.
My husband and I loved our time at the Lite My Fire cabin. It was the perfect size for two people. The stairs going up to the loft where the pool table is, were extremely narrow and tight to maneuver. We didn't play pool so wasn't a negative to our trip. Loved the seclusion, peaceful sound of the river below and close proximity to Gatlinburg. We had a two minor maintenance issues but didn't report until we were ready to leave because it didn't affect our stay. We loved the hot tub and the rocking chairs on the porch. This was just the place we pictured when booking. Quaint and scenic yet close to city activities. We loved our stay here and would stay here again and also recommend to others looking to relax from the stresses in life.
Besides a few minor annoyances (the unleveled bed and pool table and narrow stairs) it was a great relaxing get away for my husband and I. Beautifully kept and clean. Bed was a bit uncomfortable but I’m sensitive to that. Overall a great weekend. Would return
