Dear guest, when you choose to stay at our traditional Sardinian house here in the historic center of Orosei, you will experience a different kind of lifestyle. The house, built in 1600, was constructed and restored using relatively few materials: earth, stone, lime, pipes, juniper-wood beams, and hand-made tiles. This was the kind of house that our farmers lived in during centuries past! The house was restored in 2004 under my artistic direction and today it is equipped with all of the comforts necessary for a pleasant vacation. And less than 100 meters from the house you will find: a market, a bar, restaurants, a pharmacy, a deli, laundry, fruit and vegetable shops, the central piazza, many historic churches, and an extraordinary museum planned by the architects Vittorio Gregotti and Loddi & Co.
You will be staying in the heart of the east coast of Sardegna, away from the main tourist areas, amongst the local residents. Staying among us, it will be easy to discover our traditions, foods and holidays, as well as our extraordinary natural sights.

We will be happy to share these places with you, to introduce you to the tastes of the fruit of our earth, and to help you plan itineraries for archaeological excursions and explorations of the inland areas and the sea.

Historisches Ferienhaus - origineller und authentischer kann man Sardinien nicht erleben!
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war schon im Vorfeld der Reise hervorragend. Auch während des Aufenthaltes in dem wunderschönen, historischen Haus war super, genau so, wie wir es uns gewünscht hatten: Urig, rustikal, gemütlich, originell - einfach kuschelig! Die kleine Kochecke war gut ausgestattet und reichte uns völlig. Als wir am ersten Morgen den Gasherd nicht anbekamen, ist er sofort gekommen und hat uns die Gashähne gezeigt... :-) Auch tolle Tipps zu Ausflugszielen und Veranstaltungen haben wir beim gemütlichen Kaffee Trinken im Patio bekommen. Ein rundherum perfekter Urlaub!

Région d'Orosei splendide, séjour début juin calme et beau temp à la fois. Logement rénové avec goût, qui a conservé le charme de l'ancien, décoration soignée, propre et fonctionnel. Hôte très accueillant et de bons conseils.

Sardinien mit Charme und Herz
Besser als die Photos! Diese kleine Wohnung ist einzigartig und mehr als zu empfehlen. Alles sehr der Bausubstanz gemäß perfekt stilsicher renoviert und im Herzen des Ortes gelegen. Zudem im April frühsommerliches Wetter und so gut wie keine Touristen. Das Tempo des Ortes Balsam für unsere gestressten Großstadtseelen. Orosei hat selbst Charakter zu bieten ist aber auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für strahlende Strandtage oder einsame Bergtouren. Cosimo, mille grazie! Lydia und Eckhard aus Hamburg

Casa studio d´architettura in Altstadt von Orosei
Für alle, die abseits der Touristenströme etwas vom Leben auf Sardinien kennenlernen möchten, ist das Studio d´architettura ein sehr schöner und authentischer Ort um seinen Urlaub zu verbringen. Der Architekt Cosimo und seine Frau haben den einst verfallenen Häusern im historischen Stadtkern von Orosei ein neues Gesicht verliehen und diese zu Ferienwohnungen umgebaut. Mit unseren zwei kleinen Kindern haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alle waren beeindruckt von den vielen zu entdeckenden Details und den an den Wänden hängenden Zeugnissen der Vergangenheit, die der liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung ihren besonderen Charakter geben... Der große verwinkelte Raum mit Hochbett und der pflanzenbewachsene Innenhof geben genügend Rückzugsmöglichkeiten für alle. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Herzlichkeit, mit der wir von Cosimo, Giacomina und ihrer Familie empfangen wurden.

Casa studio d´architettura
Per tutti quanti chi vogliono conoscere la vita in Sardegna lontano dai turisti, il studio d´architettura è un luogo molto bello ed autentico per passare le sue vacanze. L´architetto cosimo con la sua moglie hanno dato un nuovo aspetto (?) alle case andate in rovina al centro storico di Orosei cambiandole in case per le vacanze. Con I nostri figli piccoli ci siamo trovati molto bene. Tutti siamo stati impressionati di tutti questi dettagli e degli oggetti testimonianze del passato pendenti al muro che danno al apartamento il suo carattere particolare. Lo spazio grande angolare con una galleria e con il cortile pieno di piante danno abbastanza possibilità di ritirarsi. Ma particolaramente da rilevare e la cordialità con la quale siamo stati ricevuti da Cosimo e la sua famiglia.

Tout est parfait ! :le logement , l'accueil, la région. Location idéale pour un séjour joyeux, serein et apaisant.La casa blue est très agréable et très belle. La petite terrasse est impeccable pour l'apéro du soir ! Le propriétaire et sa femme prennent soin de leurs locataires et prennent le temps de bavarder avec eux . Bref, un bel endroit où on a envie de revenir dès que possible !

"Wunderschönes kleines Haus mitten im Zentrum von Orosei, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet und für 2 Personen bestens ausgestattet. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und unkompliziert. Orosei bietet Restaurants, Cafes und Geschäfte und liegt in der Nähe vieler toller Strände in einer schönen Umgebung. Perfekter Aufenthalt, wir würden gerne wiederkommen."

"Abbiamo trascorso una vacanza straordinaria. Il paese di Orosei, anche in piena alta stagione, si è rivelato vivibilissimo. Il mare stupendo. Casa Cosimo è una piccola bomboniera, funzionale e romantica, ideale per una coppia. Il proprietario Cosimo, e la Sua numerosa famiglia, si sono rivelati delle persone squisite: molto attenti ai loro ospiti. L''unico peccato è stato non poter trascorrere più tempo insieme a loro. Sarà un''ottima scusa per tornare di nuovo."

"We rented Casa Cosimo fo...
"We rented Casa Cosimo for one week end of March. The apartment in the ancient house is very nice and makes you feel at home. It exactly looks like on the pictures. Its personally decorated and well equipped with all necessary items (maybe just a sharp knife is missing). The inner courtyard is very nice for breakfast or dinner outside. Supermarket, the central place, restaurants are in short walking distance, the beach is in about 15-20 min. walking distance. A car for several daytrips to the beautiful beaches at the Gulf of Orosei is recommended. The weather was just perfect to escape the grey and rainy german weather. We did a lot of hiking for which the weather was just perfect. Also the days at the beach were fun and my hard-bitten boyfriend was even swimming. We were very pleasant with our stay and had a perfect time. Cosimo, the owner, is helpful and caring and gave us a lot of good tips. Kathrin & Patrick "

"La maisonnette a beaucoup de charme et de caractère, elle a été rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. Elle est confortable et fonctionnelle. Elle est située au coeur du centre historique et du dédale de ruelles du joli village d'Orosei, à proximité de plages et calanques fabuleuses. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour un joli séjour en Sardaigne !"

We have rented Casa Studi...
We have rented Casa Studio Architettura for a week and were very pleased with our stay. The owner is very helpful and caring! The apartment is spacious, housed and decorated with a personal touch. Bathroom and kitchen space without any complains. An adjacent inner courtyard is very lovely for eating outside! The apartment is located in a old building in the old-town part of Orosei, no problems with noise, just the early church bell from a church which is 10 meters away, which for us was just a pleasant extra :). Orosei itself lies away from the party-Sardegna and is the one of the places to be if you're looking for nature and peace. We rented a car and made several daytrips to beautiful beaches lying close and to the mountain villages as well. Several very nice options for hikers nearby. Only the one thing - if you're coming by car through Nuoro and do not speak italian, have at least a GPS with good italian maps on you, maybe you'll get luck:) But - as soon as we took the way which did not go through Nuoro everything went fine :)

"Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit besonderem Flair. Oneiremenes diakopes sti Sardinia. Wir haben uns in Orosei, besonders in dem schönen Häuschen aus dem 17. Jahrhundert sehr wohl gefühlt. Cosimo und seine Frau haben es sehr hübsch restauriert und eingerichtet, so dass man nicht nur draußen sondern auch drinnen sehr viel über Sardinien erfährt. Das Schilf unterm Dach, die gekalkten Wände, das Naturholz und die Nischen - hier gibt es keine gerade Linie. Cosimo ist der perfekte Gastgeber, hilft in jeder Situation, bei jeder Frage und weiß sehr viel Interessantes zu erzählen. Grazie Cosimo, per averci ospitato in questa bellissima casa nella bellissima Sardegna! Elke & Stratos"

"Indeed a very charming house and town to spend a vacation! Owner was very friendly and helpful; took us around town to show us the best butcher, the supermarket, the bank, the beach etc. We especially enjoyed sitting in the small courtyeard after dinner with a glass of icecold, local Limoncello. Only minor inconveniences in the house were the rather small shower with impractical shower curtain and the limited assortment of crockery and cutlery in the house."

"C. Haus ist klein aber fein. Alles vorhanden, was man zu einem angenehmen Aufenthalt in Orosei braucht. C. selbst war sehr freundlich, aufgeschlossen und hilfsbereit. Leider war die Woche viel zu schnell herum, dann hätten wir sicher auch sein Angebot die Fahrräder zu nutzen noch wahrgenommen. Alles bestens."

"Monolocale adorabile e molto caratteristico in una città viva e vicino a tutto ... vacanza indimenticabile. Che mare ragazzi!!! Che dire del proprietario? ... mmmh, dunque: - ci ha fatto da cicerone in un giro panoramico della città, appena arrivati - presente, puntuale e preciso quando serve - discreto e non invadente (e non è poco) - gentilissimo e molto ospitale ....in una parola: Perfetto!! "Ciao Cosimo, puoi scommetterci che torniamo a trovarti!!! ... hai visto che siamo passati per il museo? saluta la famiglia e ... il cuoco, quel porcetto me lo ricorderò per molto tempo!!". Che dire ancora ... i prezzi? Con gli stessi soldi non ci pagavo nemmeno una settimana, in un villaggio turistico!! CONSIGLIATISSIMO!"
