"The casale degli aranci" is a typical Sicilian villa,indipendent, on the
slopes of Etna surrounded by evergreen citrus fruit trees. It has two wide terraces and you can see the jonic coast from Taormina to the touristic port of Riposto and the spectacular charm of the mount Etna. There are two bedrooms the kitchen and a big bathroom. All rooms are equipped with all necessary things:air conditioner in the bedroom, indipendent central heating, television whit satellite-antenna,washing-machine, cooker, fridge,hairdrier, linen,etc., and privat parking lot. The lodging is in an ideal geographical context to relax.It's easy to reach the beach (4Km) and the most important touristic centers in the zone as Taormina,the Throats of the river Alcantara,Acireale,Acitrezza,Etna,Catania,Syracuse,Piazza Armerina,Messina and the Eolie islands.The airport of Catania is about 30 Km far from the villa but it's easy to reach it taking the highway road Catania-Messina.

Soggiorno oltre ogni aspettativa. Gli Host sono davvero gentilissimi e disponibilissimi. Ci hanno accolto con i nostri due cagnoloni con grande empatia. La villetta è un vero gioiellino, curata in ogni dettaglio, pulitissima, ordinata e completa di tutto. Ci siamo sentiti davvero come a casa nostra. L’alloggio gode di un panorama mozzafiato a 360 gradi, offrendo una meravigliosa vista sul mare e sulla Calabria ed una altrettanto affascinante vista sull’Etna, in tutta la sua imponenza. L’agrumeto che circonda la casa, poi, è il valore aggiunto, offrendo agrumi a volontà. Ne abbiamo goduto soprattutto durante le nostre colazioni in veranda, baciati da un sole meraviglioso. In posizione strategica, a pochi minuti da negozi e supermercati. Si raggiungono poi agevolmente tutte le più note località della Sicilia Orientale. L’ideale per chi, come noi, cerca un luogo tranquillo e rilassante, dove gli animali domestici sono davvero i benvenuti. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Vivamente consigliato. Samantha e Carmelo

Ein herrlicher Panorama-Ausblick!
Das in einem kleinen Zitrushain gelegene Ferienhaus entsprach nicht nur exakt der Beschreibung, sondern war auch perfekt ausgestattet - das ist unserer Erfahrung nach nicht selbstverständlich. Ein üppig befüllter Korb als Willkommensgruß stand auf dem Esstisch bereit (Die selbstgemachte Marmelade ist absolut empfehlenswert!!). Das Gastgeberehepaar Angela und Mario sind unglaublich zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und jederzeit zuverlässig erreichbar. Und schlußendlich der morgendliche (nachmittägliche und abendliche) Panoramablick von der großzügigen Terrasse auf das Meer in seiner ganzen Weite und den friedlich vor sich hin dampfenden Ätna im Rücken sind herrlich.Weiterhin warten Taormina, Catania, Siracusa (und - wer möchte - auch die Liparischen Inseln) darauf, entdeckt zu werden ...Chris & Zora

“Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno fantastico! L’appartamento era pulito, ben arredato e dotato di ogni comfort necessario per sentirsi come a casa. A pochi chilometri dal meraviglioso circolo di golf Il Picciolo, la posizione è perfetta per esplorare la zona e godersi una pausa rilassante. Unico neo, il Wi-Fi non era molto veloce, ma è stata solo una piccola pecca in un’esperienza altrimenti perfetta. Accoglienza stupenda dal proprietario. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca relax, comodità e un facile accesso ai campi da Golf”

This is an excellent property that is perfect for side trips up and down the coast from Taormina to Catania, Syracuse, Noto and beautiful beaches. The area is quiet and the views are spectacular. The hosts Mario and Angela are lovely and did all they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Amazing 360 degree view.
This would have been 5 stars all round except for the many dogs barking, thankfully not through the night and unfortunately we were bitten many times by mosquitoes. The views of Mount Etna were breath taking plus we had the added bonus of watching it erupt for hours late into the night from the comfort of the terrace. The villa is brilliant with private secure parking. Mario and Angela are excellent hosts. We would definitely recommend their villa for a holiday.

Accueil super
Mario et Angela sont adorables. Un super accueil avec un petit panier composé de produits typiques et une confiture d'oranges maison pour le petit déjeuner, un régal .Le cadre est calme au milieu des orangers, citronniers et mandarinier avec vue sur l'Etna pour régaler de son spectacle explosif le soir venu. Merci à Mario et Angela et arivederci !

Das Vermieterehepaar ist sehr herzlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit! Um das Ferienhaus zu erreichen ist ein Mietwagen erforderlich jedoch bietet der Standort viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge unterschiedlicher Art.

Besonderes Haus mit viel Privatsphäre
Wir wurden sehr nett von Mario und Angela empfangen. Sie hatten uns einen Korb mit Verpflegung gerichtet, so dass wir am Abend nicht mehr einkaufen mussten. Das Haus ist stil- und liebevoll eingerichtet. Besonders ist die große Terrasse, die für Nachbarn nicht einsehbar ist. Hier hat man einen großen Tisch, sehr viele Blumen und zwei bequeme Liegen und bei gutem Wetter einen herrlichen Blick übers Meer und zum Ätna. Besonders ist auch der riesige Zitrusfrüchte-Garten aus dem wir uns frei bedienen durften. Im Mai gab es noch Orangen, Zitronen und Kumquats. Das Wetter im Mai war bis auf ein paar Regentage sehr schön mit Temperaturen so um die 25°. Ein Auto braucht man hier unbedingt. Der nächste Supermarkt es circa 5 km entfernt.

Merci à Mario et Angela pour l'accueil et leur discrétion. Maison idéalement située entre la mer (très belle vue) et l'Etna (vue à couper le souffle surtout que nous avons pu l'observer en action !). Voiture indispensable car tout est beau ! Nous reviendrons !

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. Mario and Angela are lovely! It’s nice and quiet, the roof terrace is ideal for stargazing at night and play during the day. The flowers, the citrustrees, everything is perfect! The house is close to a small bakery, so you can get fresh bread every morning, the other shopping has to be done by car. For us, this was the perfect place to be.

Wunderschönes Haus und fantastische Aussicht
Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne, erholsame Woche im Ferienhaus von Mario und Angela. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zu jeder Zeit erreichbar. Das Haus ist geräumig, sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und es war alles vorhanden was man so als Selbstversorger braucht. Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal für Unternehmungen an der Ostküste und rund um den Ätna etc. Die Aussicht von der sehr geräumigen Terrasse ist sensationell, vor einem das Meer und dahinter der Ätna, umgeben von einem großen Garten voller Orangen und Zitronenbäumen. Wir durften die Früchte genießen und das haben wir auch getan! Sizilien ist eine wunderschöne Insel, aber leider achten die Einheimischen nicht auf sie. Der immense Müll überall ist erschreckend und macht traurig. Die Menschen treten die Natur mit Füßen anstatt dieses Juwel zu schützen und zu bewahren. Einfach nur traurig!

Schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage
Meine Frau und ich waren für eine Woche von Ende Oktober bis Anfang November in diesem Haus. Die Vermieter Mario und Angela sind sehr nette und freundliche Leute. Bereits in Vorfeld bekamen wir umfangreiche Informationen und bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich von ihnen empfangen. Sie hatten uns sogar einige sehr leckere Willkommensgeschenke (Wasser, Kaffee, Kekse, selbstgemachte Marmelade) in die Küche gestellt! Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns dort sofort wohl gefühlt. Von der Ausstattung her hat uns in dieser Woche nichts gefehlt. Ganz toll haben wir die Insektenschutzgitter vor vielen Fenstern empfunden – das haben wir schon so oft anderswo vermisst. Hier konnten wir sorgenfrei Lüften! Die Lage des Hauses am Rande eines kleinen Dorfes ist sehr ruhig. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Küste und die Küstenstädte Taormina, Naxos, Giarre und viele mehr. Besonders abends, wenn die ganzen Lichter angehen, ist das ein sehr beeindruckendes Panorama. Zur anderen Seite hin kann man den Etna sehen. Und abends ist trotz der umgebenden Städte ein toller Sternenhimmel zu bewundern. Im Dorf gibt es einen kleinen unscheinbaren Bäcker, der sehr leckeres Brot und Kuchen macht. Alle anderen Besorgungen muss man mit dem Auto machen, da die Supermärkte schon etwas entfernt sind. Alles in Allem können wir dieses Haus jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in toller ruhiger Lage
Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage mit Blick auf den Ätna und auf die Küste. Ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Taormina, Syrakus, Catania und natürlich zum Ätna. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern ist unkompliziert und einwandfrei. Wir (2 Erwachsene + 2 Jungs 11und 16) hatten eine wunderbare Woche auf Sizilien!!

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus
Wir waren Ende September 2023 und hatten angenehme Temperaturen von 28- 30 Grad. Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön, mit sehr gutem Blick auf den Ätna jeden Morgen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig in einer Seitenstraße, mitten in einem Mandarinenhain. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, mit allen notwendigen Geschirr und Kochutensilien. Wir hatten ausreichend frische Handtücher, sogar Badehandtücher. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Besitzer Mario und Angela. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und mit wertvollen Einkaufstipps (Bäcker, Käseladen, Keramikladen, Pizzeria, etc.) versorgt. Bei Bedarf haben wir über Whatsapp (in Englisch) kommuniziert und konnten schnell alle Fragen und Anliegen klären. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Doris & Günter.

Très agréable séjour
Angela et Mario nous ont réservé un très bon accueil. La villa offre une vue superbe sur la mer et l'Etna. Il y a un très grand jardin fruitier au pied de la maison. De plus Angela et Mario nous ont proposé de prolonger notre séjour sans frais car notre avion avait été retardé de 2 jours. Merci encore à eux. Nous recommendons vivement.

Eine wirklich wunderbare Unterkunft
Meine Frau und ich waren nun zum dritten Mal auf dieser schönen Insel Sizilien. Wir haben hier bereits mehrere schöne Ferienwohnungen kennenlernen dürfen. Diese aber hat uns wirklich ganz besonders beeindruckt. In einer einzigartigen Lage (Blick auf den Ätna zur einen Seite - Blick auf das Meer zur anderen Seite- nicht weit von Catania und Taormina) liegt dieses tolle Ferienhaus. Ein Auto sollte man allerdings schon haben. - Mario und Angela sind unheimlich freundliche, hilfsbereite Vermieter. Man ist aber allein in dem Ferienhaus und hat absolut seine Ruhe. Umgeben ist man von reiner Natur: diverse Citrusbäume, ab und zu hört man einen Hahn, sonst nichts. Traumhaft. Wir haben wunderbar schlafen können. Das Haus bzw. die Ferienwohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Alles sehr, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Eine einzigartige Terrasse, auf der wir so gerne gesessen haben: morgens, nachmittags oder auch abends bis in die Nacht. Dazu immer eine leichte Brise. Herrlich! Wir können diese Ferienwohnung absolut und ohne jegliche Einschränkung empfehlen. Absolut spitze! Wir werden wiederkommen.

Aussicht mit Orangenplantage
Das freistehende Einfamilienhaus liegt zwischen Taormina und Etna, etwas erhöht. Die Zufahrt ist trotzdem einfach und sicher. Highlight der Unterkunft ist die Veranda mit Meersicht, Taormina Sicht und Etna Sicht. Das Haus liegt mitten in einer Orangenplantage. Das Haus ist vollständig eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, und war sehr sauber gereinigt. Internet ist vorhanden. Wir durften uns nach Belieben an den Orangenbäumen bedienen. Das Auto kann auf dem Grundstück sicher geparkt werden. Der Kontakt mit Mario und Angela war sehr freundlich. Beide sprechen perfekt englisch. Die Buchung/Ankunft/Schlüsselübergabe hatte dank Kommunikation mit Whatsapp perfekt funktioniert. Wir und unser Hund Bruce hatten uns sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt!
