A wonderful holiday home
We had a great holiday. The house is very comfortable and well equipped in a great location. We all enjoyed the swimming pool and were thrilled that the children aged 3 and 5 made great progress in learning to swim. The wonderful sandy beach is within easy walking distance

Ideal property for large family groups or 2 families in a superb location close to beach and market. Disappointing that the outdoor lights were not working while we were there.

Excellent week at a superb location on Ile de Re
Family of 10 including grandparents and 4 grandchildren (7-10 years old) all thought this was a wonderful property. The location is magnificent, right close by the beach. Clean, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Sylvie was a great help getting us acquainted with all the features. Really liked the awnings and the sea breezes helped keep us cool. Just a wonderful time.

Great house for a bigger group, right at the beach
The house was bigger then expected, lot’s of privacy with a big terrace and pool area! It’s very suitable for more families (we stayed with 4, 3 and 2, which was perfect, could even fit 3 more kids). We’ve had a very nice stay, allthough the outside area could use some extra care (cleaning up and renovation, but most important: electricity that didn’t work 😳). Would highly recommand though because of the overall feeling and the location at the beach and close to town (and check out the beach bar)!

La propriété est très bien, mais nous avons eu qq petits désagréments. Linge de lit pas adapté et couette de mauvaise qualité, pied de parasol cassé, clés insuffisantes et qui a cassé. Piscine non utilisée (escompte).

La maison est parfaite et à 2 pas de l’océan, le centre ville a 10mn à pied. une situation idéale Sylvie qui gère les arrivées et départ est disponible, à l’écoute et franchement sympa Notre séjour fut un vrai bonheur Il faudrait juste pourvoir allumer la piscine le soir ainsi les extérieurs Nous espérons pouvoir revenir l’année prochaine!

Ein schöner Familienurlaub
Wir haben den Urlaub in diesem großen Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Die Aufteilung der Räume ist ideal um mit mehreren Familien/Haushalten einen gemeinsamen Urlaub zu verbringen - es gibt drei Bäder, vier (Eltern-)Schlafzimmer und ein Kinderzimmer mit Stockbetten. Das Herzstück der Wohnung ist das große Wohn- und Esszimmer mit einem großen Tisch, an dem wir mit 10 Personen bequem essen konnten. Das Highlight der Kinder war natürlich der hauseigene Pool - gerade, wenn es am Strand sehr voll war, konnte man sich zu Hause im Wasser vergnügen. Auch auf der Terrasse steht ein großer Tisch und auch ein Grill steht zur Verfügung, so dass man herrlich draußen essen kann. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet (bis auf Geschirrhandtücher, die fehlten). Alles in allem ein schönes Objekt, das ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen ist und ein paar Abnutzungsspuren aufweist (defekte, abgeklebte Lichtschalter zum Beispiel), was dem Charme des Hauses jedoch kaum einen Abbruch tut. Der kurze Weg zum Strand und die Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus sind auch ideal. Wir können das Objekt weiterempfehlen.

Our third (or fourth) visit to this lovely villa over the years which says it all really! Loads of room for a large family, well equipped, close to the beach and markets and a really good sized pool. Excellent. We hope to be back again.

Great location for a beach holiday
We spent a week in July 2019 - three generations - and had a lovely stay. The location is absolutely perfect - 2 mins from the beach path, a great beach bar down the road, and 5-10 mins bike ride to the centre of the town with fab markets, supermarket, tourist info etc. Easy parking for cars by the dunes outside the house. Good communication with the owner. House is well-equipped and well-laid out. I'd say the house and garden are a little tired in places but this didn't stop us having a great stay . If you don't speak French it's a bit more tricky as the local agent doesn't speak English. The pool was a bit cold (for the adults!) but we knew from the info that it wasn't heated, so that wasn't a surprise. Make sure you read the contract carefully as we got caught out with check-out time - on Homeaway website it said 1100 but the contract said 0930, so we had to rush our departure. I'd definitely recommend the house because of its great location and we had a lovely holiday.

Stay at Bois en Plage.
The location of the property is brilliant for for the beach and local facilities. There is lots of space to store bikes in secure conditions. The house was well laid out for our party consisting of parents, two kids, two grandparents and an aunt. The only problem we had was that the pool went green. A technician came and said it would clear in 24 hours, but this was not the case. The agent spoke no English, but this was not an insurmountable problem. Hand towels would have been an advantage, we had to buy some.

Great place for a holiday for larger families or groups of friends. Adjacent to the large clean beach, a funky beach bar just 100m stroll and the local town for an excellent daily market only a 10 minute walk.

Perfect location. 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk into town. The property has a great layout with two different wings of bedrooms (worked well for us as a group of several families). The property is very well equipped.

Very well equipped. Spacious and clean. Some areas could do with a bit of decoration
Owners really helpful and good communication. Agents were helpful but did not speak a word of English. We have limited French. We do not expect perfection but if renting to English owners some language would have been handy. Location of the property was fab right next to the beach. Really well equipped and comfortable. Pool was cloudy and pool cleaner not working so we decided to avoid it and go to the beach instead.
