Situated on a quiet cul de sac, our home is within view of the Pine Creek Golf course and three minutes' drive from a range of restaurants (from PF Chang's to Qdoba), Starbucks, and shopping (from Eddie Bauer and Anne Taylor to Athleta and the Apple store) at Shops at Briargate. Quick access to I-25 (one exit from Air Force Academy south gate) gives easy access to the region's many attractions, and location on north edge of town makes for easy travel to Denver (south Denver is 45 minutes; DIA 80 min.). Colorado Springs airport is 25 min. south via Powers Blvd. (Colorado Springs short-term rental permit #STR-0834)

Perfect Venue For Our Family Gathering

We throughly enjoyed staying here with our adult sons and their families while attending our 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration with other extended family members at a local restaurant. The home was perfect for providing community in the family area while giving those who were still sleeping the quiet they needed to get their rest.

We loved our stay in Colorado Springs! We were there for USAFA graduation week and this location was perfect. It was close to everything we needed and the house itself fit our group comfortably. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Clean Home

We had an amazing stay at this location. Chek-in and check-out were very easy. If we had any problems, I would contact the owner and he replied instantly. Beautiful, clean home with space for all 9 adults and 3 kids. When it rained, we just played games inside. The only downside to this place is the fact that the backyard is not "toddler-friendly" because of the different levels of back-yard. We would definitely stay again!

Great location and property, would not recommend for individuals with limited mobility due to amount of stairs to get to bedrooms, but other than that we had a wonderful time!

Great home to spend with kids

I would highly recommend this home! Plenty of space to spread out. Large selection of movies and games (not to mention the ping pong table downstairs). My young girls found the trunk loaded with play dresses which was a highlight for them. Make sure you take advantage of the large deck! We ate almost every meal outside. As far as location it is a couple minutes from Focus on the Family and 20-30 minutes from Manitou Springs and Pikes Peak Cog. We greatly enjoyed our stay and the owners were very helpful and great to talk with.

Great place; great location!

The location of this property was excellent and just as described. We enjoyed watching the planes and parachutes from the USAFA every morning. Experienced great communication with the owner. Our grandchildren loved playing in the backyard and we appreciated the baby gate. Might not hurt to add one on the upper deck as the first step is a bit trickier for toddlers. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property!

What a great place for our family!

This was a great place for our family to stay. We were able to all relax, spend time together and spend time apart in this house. Lots of levels with comfortable furniture everywhere. Kitchen was well stocked with necessary equipment and room for all to sit and eat. Close to many things to do and the view was wonderful. It was so easy to check in and check out. The extra keys were a big help too! Will definitely look at staying here again in the future

Excellent Vrbo stay

Steve was very communicative during our stay. His daughter, Becka, was very kind to meet us there and show us the property. Beautiful mountain views. Great property for kids and family. Perfect location for all tourist locations. We visited Royal Gorge, Penny Arcades in Manitou Springs, Bishop Castle, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and visited family in Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Cousins enjoyed the huge living room for sleep over movie nights and board games. Also, they loved the tree house and trampoline in the back yard. The adults enjoyed the fire pit, outdoor patio seating, the spacious kitchen, and huge tub upstairs for relaxing bubble baths. Thank you Flannery family for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Why they chose this property

We chose to live in this neighborhood for the views, the friendly neighbors and the wooded privacy the landscape provides. It has been home to us for 10 years and we wouldn't dream of living anywhere else.

What makes this property unique

The pie shaped lot provides a large and private back yard that we enjoy everyday in all kinds of weather. The views of pikes peak and the Air Force planes as well as wildlife give us much to enjoy from windows and the back decks.
