Wonderful property with everything you need to cook, and bbq. Fun hikes and pond is beautiful and the pups enjoyed the swim and long hikes. We enjoyed our short stay.
Ranch Getaway is a very comfortable and well-equipped house in a beautiful rural area. The house is spacious and well organized with plenty of space for everyone. We were ten people and always had space to engage in whatever activities we wanted indoors and outdoors. The kitchen is very well equipped and comfortable for cooking. I highly recommend Ranch Getaway as I would gladly stay again if the opportunity came up.
Had a blast on this property! From the private swim pond, to the friendly cattle, this home nestled in the mountains was amazing. Our whole family had fun and we can’t wait to go back!
Enjoyed our 4 day stay, clean, quiet, extremely relaxing stay with all the comforts of home. Approx an hour drive to Sequoia National Park. Perfect getaway.
We can't say enough about how impressed we were by this beautiful, inviting home and its stunning location. The floor plan is great, and there are amazing views from every window. It is peaceful and quiet, we enjoyed spending time on the balcony, the front porch, and going for walks. The wildlife kept us entertained. We did not want to go home- I hope we can return someday. The owners were great to work with.
The property was everything I hoped for and more. Plenty of room/beds, stunning 360 degree panoramic views, and there was plenty to keep us occupied, so we enjoyed the lack of television on the property. I absolutely plan to stay here again.
I briefly ran into Ryan upon arriving at the property. He was extremely pleasant, provided us with some basic arrival info, and left us alone for the remainder of the stay.
My dog throughly enjoyed the cattle and chipmunks roaming through the property and orchards.
Had a family get together for my father's 77th birthday. The whole family had a great time hiking the hills and swimming in the pond. The game room with ping pong table was very entertaining. The views were incredible. The family can't wait to come back.
We had an incredible stay. The highlight was definitely the lake/watering hole. Our group (which included kids ranging from 7-16) spent hours swinging from the rope swing and cruising around the watering hole on paddle boards and the canoe. An absolutely gorgeous location with incredible views. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. We will definitely be coming back!
Convenient Sequoia Access with a Gorgeous Stay and Unforgettable views
Staying at this house was like finding a hidden paradise. The views from all rooms of the house are stunning, and it has an absolutely gorgeous deck to watch the starts and shooting stars, I haven't experienced such a clear sky in years. The kids has a blast in the pond, as well as some grownups. During the evenings we enjoyed playing pool and ping pong.
Although the entrance to Sequoia National Park is about an hour away, and the drive to the General Sherman Tree takes around two hours due to the winding mountain roads, it’s well worth the journey. The tranquility and beauty of the location made our stay truly special. The owner’s hospitality added to the experience, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to explore the Sequoias while enjoying a gorgeous retreat.
What a wonderful time we had at this beautiful ranch house! The views are spectacular, especially after the high Sierras appeared out of the clouds on the third day. The living room with its huge windows was a perfect hangout spot, and the kitchen had everything we needed for many family meals. The kids (and adults) spent a lot of time in the game room downstairs. We really enjoyed our time at this lovely place and hope to make it back there for another visit!
Great way for the family to get away and relax on a beautiful property. Loved having our own private swimming pond with canoe and paddle boards. Great refresher during the hot afternoons. Little ones enjoyed picking oranges and squeezing for orange juice. Great hose and nicely stocked with essential items. Great family time and would recommend and return.
We stayed at Rancho Monte Vista while visiting my husband’s family in Springville. The ranch is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The views of the Sierra foothills and mountains from the house are simply spectacular. We enjoyed bird watching from the expansive deck, playing pool in the game room every night, and cooking in the amazing kitchen. Very pet friendly- our dogs loved playing outside and exploring the property. Springville is such a beautiful little community with a lovely Main Street area. There was a wine tasting event happening downtown during our visit. We didn’t want to leave, I highly recommend staying here. I even want to visit my in laws more often now that we found this place. Can’t wait to go back!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL property and house. AMAZING views and terrific facilities. House worked great for our multi -generation family of 8. Ample room to gather. Great cooking supplies. Loved picking citrus. The pond was a kid (and adult) delight! The only neg was lots of spider webs and all beds not the most comfortable. Want to stay again!!!!
My family and I had a fantastic time here despite of the unexpected heat wave. Since it was so hot out, we spent most of the time indoors. The hosts were quick to respond to my messages and check in was easy. They allowed us to add more people when family members were able to fly in last min. The only issue we had were all of the spiderwebs. It doesnt appear that the house has been rented in a while so there were webs in every corner including the entrance door. It really didn't bother us much. Check out was easy. Just leave everything as is and no extensive chore list! That was extra brownie points for us. We love it here and cant wait to come back.
The Ranch is fully stocked and comfortable, plenty of towels, and toiletries,. The kitchen had lots of dishes and tools for cooking. The surrounding ranch properties are beautiful and we could only imagine how much greener it must be during the cooler months of the year. The fountain in the front yard made for a happy jump in play area for our dog who refused to get out!
We did notice that the alarm for carbon monoxide was going when we arrived and we couldn’t silence it so we had to disconnect it. Probably needs new batteries? The fountain in the front needs some treatments for moss and algae build up. We made certain our dog was rinsed thoroughly after each time he jumped in! Thank you!

Picture perfect home with the best views
We stayed at the Ranch Getaway the weekend of MLK with my family and friends. The home is exactly as described and better. We have a 15 month old baby, and it was great to let him roam around the plush carpet in the family room and master bedroom. All the rooms are neatly organized, with fresh clean linens. Even though we took our own toiletries, the bathrooms were nicely stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which I thought was great. The best part of this home, are the views from every window! It is so relaxing to just look out into all the orange groves, and property while cooking meals in the kitchen. The dining room accommodated our large party, and it was nice to eat dinner as a group. Our last day here we picked oranges from the trees, and they were delicious! Lastly, it was great to have our pets with us. They enjoyed running all over the property, and exploring the grounds. I hope to return to this beautiful and peaceful home in the summer. Thank you Steve for a wonderful experience and stay in your home!
Wow! We couldn’t have found a more perfect place for our family to hang out. The views were unreal and there was lots of hiking and swimming in the pond to keep people enjoying the outdoors. Plenty of room for cooking together, feeding everyone, telling stories into the late evening, and then falling into comfortable beds! Thanks for a wonderful stay as we celebrated my nephews wedding!
