This clean, cool, well-equipped apartment in the charming village of Sutivan is the perfect base for a holiday on the Dalmatian coast. A stone’s throw from Bunta beach, and 3 mins walk from the picturesque harbour, its inside living area and terrace offers stunning sea views of the Adriatic, the Dalmatian coast and mountains beyond.
The apartment
The spacious open plan living space has a well-equipped kitchen (with oven, hob, fridge-freezer and dishwasher), and comfortable living/seating area. Guests are free to help themselves to books from the library wall during their stay.
A dining and lounge area on the terrace provides the perfect spot for meals, sundowners or simply kicking back with a good book, with its sweeping views of the Adriatic Sea, the Dalmatian coast and mountains beyond. The spectacular pink sunset across the sea add a touch of magic in the summer months. The space offers an outside dining table to seat 6, deck chairs and BBQ.
The property sleeps five people comfortably across its three bedrooms - a double, twin beds and a single. On request, an additional guest could be accommodated on a fold out bed placed in either the living area or main bedroom.
There are two bathrooms - one with a shower, basin, WC and washing machine; another a WC and basin.
The apartment is naturally cool and airy with its tiled floors, and has an AC unit in the living area and additional fans for when the weather is particularly hot. A washing machine and dishwasher are welcome comforts for guests staying for longer, and the place has free WIFI.
There is a parking space for guests.
Surrounding area
The apartment is just a minute walk down to the main beach, with its cafe/bar open in the day in the summer months. For those looking for more tranquility, there are many more secluded beaches and coves accessible on foot, or by bike, car or boat, further along the seafront.
A short three minute stroll along the waterfront from the apartment is Sutivan’s charming harbour, with its colourful fishing boats, fantastic restaurants along the waters edge, gelateria, coffee shop, wine bar and small shops. There is also a place to rent bikes, kayaks, SUP boards and organise excursions - to local wineries and olive oil makers.
There are many other places to visit on the island and beyond - accessible by car, bus, bike or (some of them) boat - including Supetar, Bol and Vidova Gora. A fast boat from Milna takes you directly to Hvar town in the summer months (but please check information still accurate at the time of your travel!). A couple of boats a day run between Sutivan and Split in high season, with a more regular crossing to Split from Supetar (a short drive/bus away). Bikes and quad bikes can also be rented from the village.
