Fantastic break with my family. The house was ideal with a spacious garden for the boys. 5 minute walk to the beach, which was ideal. Shopping all within a 10 minute drive.

The house corresponds to the description. It is comfortable and practical. It is wonderfully close to the beach. We had a very nice time there. Communication with the landlords worked very well.

Une semaine de rêve ( pas un nuage durant une semaine). Partis en famille, 2 grands-parents et 5 petits-enfants nous avons apprécié le gîte pour sa propreté, pour sa proximité avec la plage que nous avons visitée tous les jours. La chambre de 4 lits fut un atout pour tous.Les propriétaires sont charmants, discrets et confiants. Merci pour tout et le petit cadeau d’accueil.

Excellent gîte tout près de la mer
L'accueil s'est très bien déroulé avec toutes les précisions nécessaires.Le logement est spacieux, facile, confortable et très lumineux. Il ne manque rien en termes d'équipement et tout est facile à trouver.Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à 300 mètres d'une très belle plage.Nous remercions chaleureusement les propriétaires pour leur accueille convivial et agréable.Nous recommandons sans réserve ce logement.

Perfekt für alle Altersgruppen
Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise ici. Un beau jardin où vous pourrez laisser les enfants courir. Très proche de la mer. Une maison super équipée dans laquelle la cuisine est beaucoup plus grande que ce à quoi on pourrait s'attendre d'après les photos. Des propriétaires sympathiques qui nous ont donné quelques conseils pour notre séjour. Oh oui. Les lits étaient vraiment super. Que demander de plus ? Tout simplement parfait. Merci beaucoup!

Randonnées normandes
Chaque jour une randonnée de 9 à 13km, à l'aise, en explorant les chemins douaniers, le marais cotentin et la zone d'Omaha beach, très impressionnante dans le calme qui suivait le 80eme anniversaire. Chaque jour de nouvelles découvertes dans le soleil et le vent...pas de pluie au rv! Une seule envie...revenir

Merci beaucoup à nos hôtes pour leur accueil chaleureux, la facilité de contact et les petites marques d'attentions, grâce à des gourmandises locales notamment. La maison est fidèle au descriptif et aux photos, très fonctionnelle et parfaitement propre. Elle est très bien équipée pour une famille avec de jeunes enfants : jeux, livres, matériel de puériculture à disposition, jardin clos. Enfin, la maison est idéalement située, tout près de la plage, des commodités et des centres d'intérêt culturel du Cotentin. Nous recommandons vivement et espérons y revenir très bientôt ! Urlaub mit Wohlfühlgarantie
Wir waren im September 2022 für 2 Wochen als 4 köpfige Familie in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. === Ferienhaus === Das Ferienhaus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man sich wünschen kann; angefangen bei Toaster, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher über Nespresso-Maschine bis hin zu einer Küchenwaage und natürlich reichlich Geschirr und Besteck. Eine Waschmaschine und ein Wäschetrockner sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Die gesamte Inneneinrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich - hier wirkt nichts willkürlich zusammengewürfelt. Der schön große Garten bietet viel Platz zum Laufen, Toben und Spielen und auf der Terrasse haben auch alle viel Platz. Das gesamte Haus haben wir sehr sauber vorgefunden, so konnten wir direkt im Urlaub ankommen ohne vorher erstmal einen Großputz starten zu müssen. Im Kinderzimmer im Obergeschoss gibt es reichlich Kinderspielzeug, was bei unseren zwei Kindern auf viel Spaß & Freude gestoßen ist. === Lage === Das Ferienhaus ist in einem sehr ruhigen Wohngebiet gelegen, hier fahren nur sehr wenige Autos durch und dadurch ist es auch bei offenen Fenstern nachts sehr still. Der Strand ist fußläufig in 3-4 Minuten zu erreichen und lädt zum Verweilen und Spazieren ein. Hier kann man schöne Muscheln sammeln, die Prile genießen oder auch einfach nur was planschen und buddeln. Ebenfalls zu empfehlen ist der Strand in Carteret "Plage de la Vieille Église" der mit seinen vielen Felsen und weiten Dünen einen schönen Kontrast zum Strand vor der Tür bietet. Die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten finden sich in Barneville - hier gibt es zwei Supermärkte (die auch im September teils noch Sonntags geöffnet haben) und mehrere Boulangerien. Hier empfiehlt es sich mit dem Auto zu fahren, dann sind es ca. 9 Minuten Fahrt. Als Ausflug zu empfehlen (wenn auch eine längere Autofahrt) ist der "Zoo de Champrépus". Für weitere Ausflugsziele finden sich im Ferienhaus auch viele Flyer. Das WLAN im Ferienhaus hat für gelegentliches Surfen und auch sogar für Streaming ausreichend Kapazität (ca. 4 Mbit/s down), zum Hochladen von bspw. Urlaubsfotos eignet sich eher das mobile Internet. === Kontakt === Rundum ausgezeichneter Kontakt sowohl im Vorfeld als auch vor Ort. === Gesamt / Fazit === Wir haben uns sehr selten so sehr wohl und zu Hause in einem Ferienhaus gefühlt wie hier. Wir können das Ferienhaus somit uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werden auch selbst gerne wiederkommen wenn es uns wieder in die Gegend verschlägt.

Schönes Ferienhaus
Das Ferienhaus hat gehalten was es versprochen hat! Es ist relativ ruhig gelegen, ca. 300m zum Strand. Viel Platz drinnen wie draussen, Handyempfang und Wlan ebenfalls sehr gut.

Maison agréable et bien placée
La maison est spacieuse et lumineuse, très bien équipée, à 5min à pied de la plage. Il y a un jardin et une chambre d'enfants avec des jouets donc c'était très bien pour mon fils. Seul bémol l'électricité à payer à la fin même si ce n'est pas grand chose. Il n'y a que 4kWh prévu par jour ce qui est en fait trop peu pour une grande maison avec 6 personnes sachant qu'on avait mis un peu de chauffage. Au final très bon séjour, je recommande complètement ce gîte.

Der Urlaub in Saint-Jean-de-la-Rivière war wunderbar. Wir haben besonders die Ruhe, die Nähe zum Meer und die tolle Umgebung genossen. Die Übergabe des Hauses lief unkompliziert und freundlich. Beatrice gab uns tolle Tipps für die Gegend. Ich habe noch nie ein Ferienhaus bewertet, aber hier will ich es unbedingt, denn das Haus hat es wirklich verdient - es hat einfach alles was man im Urlaub braucht.

Excellent property in superb location
We enjoyed a wonderful two week stay at this spacious property which is a just a few minutes walk from a vast beach, which was perfect during this pandemic. The garden and decking area are great and we spent many evenings playing badminton and volleyball. We were fortunate that the weather was great-very hot-and made use of the bikes that are kept in the shed. The property is very well equipped and all of the bedrooms are very spacious. Just to note that we had to pay an extra 18 euros for electricity as only a certain amount of electricity is included in the price and any additional is chargeable. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would not hesitate to return-it would be nice to explore the area more during ‘safer’ times.
