Two things needed

Property was great. Two things are needed, One is a television connected to a provider and not a 1970 model TV. Two is a barbecue grill.

A quiet, clean, private Space in the Country

The bed was very comfortable. The place provided a restful, private, country atmosphere. My granddaughter visited, and loved the kitty. I loved the kitty too. I really appreciated that the owners left coffee, juice, cereal, and other staple items in the house. Also, the bathroom was well stocked with Shampoo, soap, etc... I will definitely stay there again, and have already recommended this Vacation rental to others. The only thing I would change is the living room furniture. As another guest had reported. It was not cozy, or comfortable, and the lift chair should be properly fixed or exchanged for something else. If funds are an issue in replacing the living area furniture, I would highly recommend checking on Craigslist. I have found amazing deals on furniture there. The furniture would not keep me from wanting to rent there again. It would just be my suggestion for a nice change. Thank you so much for your great amenities, and the peaceful space. I enjoyed my stay very much.

This place was perfect, quiet, clean, with everything we needed. Owner was very helpful.

We were attending an event based in Roseburg but found Myrtle Creek a perfect smaller town to visit. This rental is a couple miles out of town and the setting was amazing. I recommend it.

A clean place to stay when exploring the Roseburg area

The positives; Our stay was part of a girl's weekend with an out of state friend and I brought her here to explore local wineries. The owner Terry, gave us a tour of the interior when we arrived. The home was very clean and the photos depicted the interior perfectly. It was spacious enough for the two of us. We didn't do any cooking but the kitchen was stocked with the items we did need; coffee cups, wine glasses, flatware. And there were many items available that we didn't use, such as some tea, fresh fruit and yogurt provided. (Thanks for the donuts!) There is a nice deck and swing to enjoy the stars and the friendliest cat ever! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom roomy with a wonderful large tiled shower and the provided internet worked well. It's a quiet country setting with this little apartment separated from the main house by a breezeway. Suggested improvements; Update the driving directions so that Dairy Queen is not the point of reference - it's no longer a DQ. The wicker furniture in the living room is not comfortable to hang out and talk or watch tv, and the only recliner (a lift chair) is broken. I was under the impression from the VRBO listing that the property offered some elbow room for exploring and animals to visit. That is why I chose this property. But, it was not inviting to walk around the grounds and there were no farm animals in view, other than distant cows.

Delightful Rural Accommodations!

Our stay in Myrtle Creek was splendid. The guesthouse is clean, pleasant, quiet and peaceful. We spent 5 nights there and loved it! It was well stocked with everything we needed, including cherry turnovers and juice in the refrigerator. The bed is comfortable, the shower is awesome, the rooms are tastefully decorated, and it was roomy enough for us to have guests for a visit. It even came with a resident cat to pet! Terry and her husband were very gracious and accommodating, even letting us use their household laundry facilities. We will certainly stay there again when we are in the Myrtle Creek area.

Central Location for Southern Oregon

Great location for Southern Oregon wine country. Only 20 minutes to Umpqua Valley wine trail, 1 hour to Applegate/ Rogue Valley wine trail and 1 hour to Southern Willamette Valley wine trail. Guest house has huge bathroom and kitchen has all of the needed utensils, pots and pans, etc. Could use 2 more wine glasses and 2 new bed pillows. My husband would have preferred a bigger TV, but I don't really watch TV on vacation.

Wonderfully charming place, surrounding area and home owners.

Sam and Terry were wonderful to work with. They answered my questions about everything. They have a whole drawer of leaflets for things to do. They provide towels, dishes, bedding, toiletries, books and magazines and even games to play. I will definitely stay here again. It is so easy to get to anywhere from this location. It was so peaceful sleeping with the windows open so we could hear the night country sounds and not worry about dust blowing in.

Nice cottage

Very clean, comfortable bed, big bathroom and shower. Owners had juice, yogurt, fresh fruit and Danish waiting for us. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Terry during our 3-night stay. We saw 4 covered bridges and 5 waterfalls while there. An enjoyable vacation. On the negative side: small TV and we couldn't get major channels.

Loved it!!!!

We went to visit family and stayed at this house. The house was very clean. Terry was waiting for us when we arrived. We loved the fresh eggs. The weather was perfect, we were visiting from Arizona and just had a wonderful time getting away from the heat. Cannot wait to visit Oregon again and will definitely stay at this house!

It was great!

We enjoyed our stay in Myrtle Creek. The one bedroom unit was very clean and the surroundings are breathtaking. dinner on the deck was a highlight. Watching the barn swallows feed their young kept out interest plus bring a bag of apples or carrots for the beautiful horses. They loved their morning treat. Thanks to the Noonkester's for their excellent cooperation in allowing us to stay another couple of days due to our booking error plus allowing us to have a close friend stay overnight and providing a cot. All in all a great place to unwind.

Cozy home away from home!

Set in a valley, we had a wonderful view of the meadow and the surrounding mountains. After a good day of exploring the waterfalls in the area and having a craft beer at a brewery, it was nice to sit on the deck to relax. The barn swallows nesting in the eaves were precious as they came out to look at us on the deck, singing a sweet song. I'm a country girl at heart. For me personally, I really enjoyed sleeping with the window open letting the cool night air fill the room as I snuggled down and listened to the night sounds of the farm and the crickets. Centrally located between Roseburg and Grants Pass, this is a great home base for exploring the waterfalls, breweries, wineries, and even Crater Lake! Thanks, Terry, for your hospitality! You made sure the kitchen and bath was well stocked for our comfort. We really enjoyed the fresh eggs for breakfast each morning.

Perfect cottage for enjoyable getaway!

First off, the owners were there to greet us when my husband & I arrived in Myrtle Creek, OR. Since our daughter and her family live nearby we spent our days with them. At this cottage the nights & mornings were so enjoyable; cool, quiet, with refreshing outside air. The cottage was very clean, with a very comfortable queen size bed, nice size modern bathroom/shower, and a kitchen stocked with fresh fruit, yogurt, and more. All the small appliances we needed were there also. We're hoping to stay in this darling place again next summer. MB

Perfect For My Trip

This cute, comfortable, and well equipped guest house was perfect for my trip to Myrtle Creek Oregon. I had to travel up to the area for my favorite Aunts memorial. Quite a few family members showed up for this event as well. Most stayed over night at my Uncle's house. Since I like my privacy, I was extremely grateful to retreat to this place. Just a short 10 minute drive away. Even came with a sweet welcoming kitty cat. Television was limited. I did bring my own movie DVD's to watch tho. Also moved the recliner in front of the TV so I could sit reclined. Returned it to it's original position before I departed. Bed was very comfortable. Brought my own pillows and slept like a baby. Enjoyed my privacy and I really enjoyed Oregon's spring countryside. Everything is so very green! Will be visiting my Uncle a lot in the future and would like to book this rental again.
