Welcome to "C's The Day", a luxury home in the prestigious beach community of The Preserve at Grayton Beach. Any richly appointed home begins with great outdoor spaces and this home is no exception.

You have multiple venues where everyone can relax and take in all nature has to offer. Outdoor dining, spaces for relaxation, and a gas grill to complete your outdoor experience. C's The Day is also located as you first enter The Preserve, so beach access only steps away. A private boardwalk is close by for each beach access, one of only three on 30A! Making it easy to transport your beach wagons, strollers, and coolers to the shimmering sands of the Gulf!!

Upon entry, you're welcomed into the spacious open Great Room with multiple seating areas and luxury upgrades like trey ceilings, hardwood floors, recessed lighting, and high-end furnishings. The formal dining area offers seating for six and the breakfast bar, and an additional four so that everyone can enjoy meals together. The Gourmet kitchen spares no expense with marble countertops, high-end stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, and a center island. Making it easy to make your early morning cup of coffee and culinary creations in the evening.

Great Place in 30A!

Overall, the place was great for our family trip. The location was close to restaurants and the beach. We had an issue with the door code at check in and their after hours call line resolved the issue immediately. Would definitely stay here again!

4 C’S RETREAT

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely house that needs attention. Living Room furniture only has comfortable seating for 4 adults. Two occasional chairs as well as dining chairs are uncomfortable. If visiting during cooler season (Feb) heating system is lacking, temp on 1st floor never got above 63 while 2nd floor was up around 80. Made for uncomfortable sleeping no mater what floor you are on. Had maintenance look at it twice and was told it is just the type of system in the house. Hesitated to open windows on second floor because there are no screens. Kitchen lacks cooking & baking equipment. Plenty of dishes, flatware & pots. No storage dishes for leftovers. Bath towels were very nice size & quality. Beds, front porch furniture needs updating. Loved the neighborhood, beach access and community. Will be back next year but probably at a different rental. Also did not appreciate all of property managements numerous rules with threats of fines.

Outstanding Property!

If you are looking for the perfect property for your next vacation this is it. My wife and I and two other couples were blown away by how beautiful the property is, the cleanliness of the property, the quiet neighborhood and the location. Check in and check out were seamless and Blue Swell was available and kept us informed. We definitely will book it again for a return couples trip!

A bit underwhelming

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We will caveat our review with this was our first experience to 30A beaches. The positives of this property are that its in a quiet area and outside of some noise from 30A traffic its serene. The pools are close enough - if you want the heated one its about a 10 minute walk from the house, the unheated is just down the block. We had some issues with codes not working after our first day but that was resolved within a few minutes by the on call team. This house is need of some work and updating - the balcony doorknob in master suite was off when we arrived (this was promptly fixed), cabinets and fixtures show lots of wear & tear, there were dead spiders on bathroom ceilings, the hot water tank couldn’t fill the tub in the master suite, TVs didn’t work outside of the living room, floors were beaten up. The TVs didn’t bother us but for others it would have been an issue. There are lots of rules and the list of potential fines is a full page long. Our biggest issue is that the advertised private beach access was not accurate and we ended up driving out to public beaches because it was easier than using the private access for the community. The attendants at the beach were kind and helpful - but the current situation is not what is advertised. If you are planning to use the deeded beach be prepared to walk a mile from the house and you may or may not be able to use a tent. A good portion of that mile will be in the sand. If you have small kids and want to take a cart plan to get a workout in. If you have older kids or lots of adults then this property might work great for you. If you have a younger family you probably want to explore other options or be prepared for trade offs. Our perspective is that we didn’t get great value for the money we spent.

Love this neighborhood

We have stayed in the neighborhood twice but different homes. I liked this one best. Wonderful layout, plenty of room, and clean. The home is located near the front of the neighborhood so it’s a shorter walk to the beach. The few negative things said in other reviews of this home nearly swayed me but I’m glad I ignored them because they didn’t seem accurate. We loved this house and will be coming back next year. My one and only harmless complaint would be that the big beautiful bath was a let down. They do not have an endless hot water tank at this house so by the time the tub was half full the water was only warm. Not a deal breaker though, just a let down. We’ll still come back!

Priddy perfect

Our stay at 69 Barton’s Way was fantastic. The beach house was huge, clean, and very well designed. Nice, secure neighborhood and a canopied boardwalk to a pristine beach. It is a 1/3 mile walk, 8 minutes, but it is a lovely boardwalk. Check in was simple and we were in constant communication with Blue Swell. Enjoy a visit here.

Great Property

Good overall

Overall the house was very nicely laid out. Rooms were all very spacious and beds were comfortable. However, a couple things stood out. The main floor bedroom with a queen bed has a very distinct moldy smell that is not in the rest of the house. The bunk beds upstairs listed as being a "loft bedroom" were not in a room, but in a nook in the upstairs hallway. It was not what we expected for one of our guests and made for noisy sleeping conditions. Another item that would have made for a nicer stay would be to have just a few more towels available both in the bathrooms and kitchen. Each guest only had two towels and for a week stay and seemed skimpy. The other item that stood out is that the house needs some deep cleaning. Baseboards and shutters are very dusty. For those with allergies, it could be a problem. But the house was well stocked with kitchen supplies and appliances. Overall our stay was good. AC worked well if windows kept closed. Beach chairs and boards and kayaks were at house though not listed in amenities...possibly left by other guests. Beach access is not at end of boardwalk but a hundred yards or so down to east. A local explained that the Preserve used to have direct access up till this year but now has to go down a ways to set up umbrellas and such.

Great stay, highly recommended

Great stay. Quiet location. Easy beach access (7 minute walk with kids). Beach has awesome water features for kids who don’t want to be in the waves. Two pools that aren’t busy. Plenty of space in the house. Huge kitchen. Would recommend noise machines/fans if using bunk area as it is at top of stairs by the washing machine - easy adjustment. Great food nearby, too - Red Fish Taco, Blue Mountain Creamery, and more. This place should be in your plans!

Beautiful House - Quiet Peaceful Neighborhood

We have stayed in many VRBO homes before and this one was one of the top houses. High quality furniture, kitchen, cookware, decor, finishes, etc. I'm not sure why there were some reviews last year of some wear and tear on house - we did not see it and I assume it has been updated. We love this neighborhood - it is more quiet and not as busy as Rosemary or Seaside areas, which we appreciated. Again - beautiful home - we would book again in an instant!

Previous reviews mentioned construction. People showing up at 8am many days to work on balconies. Banging, looking in the windows. We asked the property manager about construction because of prior reviews. They did not tell us the truth, blamed owner. Property needs a refresh. Neighborhood noisy. Construction everywhere. Stay somewhere else.

Great location, nice property

Only compaint is that the upper rear deck was not usable due to tarp covering, and standing water. Also, while the beds were comfortable, the furniture in general (couch, etc.) was not. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will def return!

Grayton Beach

This was the worst home I've rented - especially for the fee. House needs a lot of work, nothing noted about the construction around the home, furniture is old, lost Wi-Fi service for over 24 hours, bugs in first floor bathroom, only one garbage bag provided (but this is important), Master BR deck under repair (not mentioned in rental). Very disappointed with the rental.

The house itself is beautiful, and the area is gorgeous. It very comfortably suited our active group of five adults. I loved the boardwalk through the coastal forest and the uncrowded beach, but it would be challenging if you needed to carry a lot of stuff or if you had small children with you. The door code didn't work at first, but we were quickly helped and given a new code. If you stay here, you must secure your trash (unlike the people who stayed before us)—or you'll be surprised to see a bear outside the window! There was no information on how to find the pools. I finally found one, and the code worked, but there was no door handle on the gate, so I just gave up when I couldn't figure out how to enter. Also, be aware that the neighborhood is not within walking distance of restaurants, unless you want to be very sweaty when you get there, so plan to drive when you go out.

Great Family House for Multiple Ages

We really enjoyed staying here! The house is beautiful and the proximity to the beach is great for an active family—it’s not right on the beach, it’s a good walk, but totally doable for our 4 year old. We brought a wheelchair so that my grandma could also enjoy the beach with us and it worked out well. There are lots of extra things at the house like beach toys, wagons, kayaks, pack n play, etc that we would have loved to have known about in advance of our stay because we brought all of that with us. We had a large range of ages staying with us and it was ideal for our family, all the way from 83 years down to 11 months. The house was very clean, except for large clumps of dust that flew off the living room fans all over us, and also the kitchen light fixture above the island has a lot of greasy dust visible from the living room. We also experienced a severe thunderstorm and subsequent ceiling leak in the downstairs bedroom. It looks to have been previously patched, so I hope it will be fixed in the future. We would love to stay here again!

Family Beach Vacation

Wonderful family beach vacation at this lovely Grayton Beach property. The sea themed decor was beautiful and furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen was very spacious and we had everything we needed for large or small meals. Bedrooms were very relaxing and beds were just perfect. Linens - both bathroom and bedroom - were high quality. The entire home was very clean, and there was plenty of room for our entire family (8 adults and 2 children) to move about without being on top of each other. We enjoyed the chairs, umbrellas, and beach equipment, and the walk to the beach was very pleasant and shaded. I'd say it was between a 5 and 10 minute walk. We didn't have any of the problems with the refrigerator that others mentioned, but we did make sure to follow the instructions about slowly adding items over a day or two. The only advice I would give to anyone staying is to make sure the garbage bins are locked down and secured. We had some midnight critters picking over some of our discarded items which made for some clean-up the following morning - definitely NOT the fault of the property managers/owners Overall, we would stay at this property again, and definitely recommend for families of 8 or fewer!
