Amazing Chamonix Experience!!

Staying at Chirstine's flat in Chamonix was a truly amazing and unforgetable experience. The flat is warm, cosy, confortable and very pleasant, with stunning views of Mt Blanc and the lovely Chamonix Valley. It's next to all the buses so transportation is great and easy and only 5 min walk to everything you will need in the center of town. Florence was really great and helpfull with everything i would need. I totally recommend it and i wish i have the chance to go back next year! Georgis Grigorakis

"Sorry about being so very late to put a comment as we stayed there in June 2008 ! -but see, the memory is still alive and a great one ;-) I thought I had to drop a little note for English readers because the one I read was a bit "tough" I think : you may hear once some other people chatting(and smoking)on a balcony below but how the owner could interfere in OTHER FLATS ?! Sooo seriously it''s nothing to talk about. The building is quiet, the flat is cute, the bathroom was very comfy (in 2008),the kitchen has everything you''d wish (even a steam cooker for the ones watching their health !), the owner is the most friendly and helpful, you are really central for grocery shopping (lots of local treats ! from candy store and ice cream parlour just next door to a country market on Saturdays)but calmly surplumbing a park, you reach the mountains easily and you are welcomed from your own bed each morning by an amazing view on Aiguille du Midi ! What to wish more ?!"

"As located in a city-cen...

"As located in a city-center, street noise was sometimes a bit disturbing, especially when people were heading home from bar. Also walls in building was poorly soundproofed but it is not problem of this particular building but all older buildings. Those prolems were easily avoided by using era-plugs while sleeping. It was nice to have ordinary coffee-maker in a flat instead of espresso-maker. Faucet in bath was old-fashioned and it took like an hour to adjust the water to warmth one would like to. Ski-locker in a basement was nice since the flat is so small. We had some problems with toilet and co-operation with the owner in that case was easy. Onwer answered all our questions fast and was helpful." All in all, we had a pleasant stay in that flat and would definitely recommend it to a friend.
