Aloha and welcome to one of the finest vacation destinations in the world - Kauai.

Kamahana condos are located on the spectacular North Shore of the Garden Island of Kauai. This extremely spacious and private condominium is over 1200 sq. ft. and feels more like a house than a condo. It's on the ground floor and features extra-high vaulted ceilings and three private lanai. This condo is unique because it is separate from the others. There are no shared walls downstairs and only one other condo above. This provides a lot of privacy.

The lanai off the living room looks out at the private back yard with views of Kauai's lush gardens and mountains. It is very private and quiet. The back yard is also great if you have a couple of kids that need to run around and burn off energy. This lovely condo has a fully equipped kitchen as well as a washer/dryer, TV, stereo, and DVD player. There are also some extras available for your use: beach towels, some beach toys and a cooler. Don't bother packing that extra stuff -- it's already here for you!

Some nights you may just want to stay in so there are games to play with the family. Many things you want to make your vacation completely enjoyable are already here. Wireless high-speed internet access is also available.

Each bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed with a cozy down comforter. The master bathroom is very large with a huge walk-in shower. The guest bathroom has a shower and a bathtub.

From Princeville, there are over 26 different, spectacular beaches that are less than 20 minutes away. Two world-class golf courses, the Prince ranked #1 in Hawaii and the Makai, ranked #7, are located in Princeville.

Two great tennis clubs, The Makai Tennis Club and the Hanalei Bay Resort, are less than five minutes away. The luxurious 5-Star St. Regis Hotel is a few minutes' drive down the road and offers a spa and gourmet dining with spectacular views. The Westin is also close by and has a fabulous restaurant called Nanea. Enjoy!

Kamahana condos front the 27-hole Makai Golf Course offering distant views of the Kilauea Lighthouse and Secret Beach. A secluded swimming pool and BBQ area are also available nearby for your enjoyment.

Adventurous guests may like to take a short walk down the road to an exciting hike through the rainforest. You'll be rewarded with a magnificent private beach (Sealodge Beach) where you can enjoy hunting for shells, searching the tide pools, snorkeling or just relaxing in the sun.

Great Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was great for our family of 4. There were lots of kid-friendly dishes and furniture. It was a close drive to many of the wonderful beaches Kauai has to offer.

Nice relaxing vacation

Spacious, bright, a bit dated but feels like home. Great location, close to north shore beaches which are much nicer than the crowded south beaches IMO.

A wonderful Hawaiian atmosphere.

We really enjoyed our stay. The decor made gave it a wonderful Hawaiian feeling. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Great location. Close to beaches and shopping. We loved it!! Hope to stay there again.

Beatiful condo on the Makai Golf Course. Great location for day trips around Princeville area. A day at Hanalei Bay is a must. Be sure to go to Kilauea Market + Cafe for best Poke Bowl lunch. Neighbors were very friendly and gave us ideas for daytime adventures.

Kauai Paradise

While there were just the 2 of us, this property would work for 2 couples or a family. We enjoyed having the space. While this isn't a beach side property (and we knew that), it is a beautiful property with 2 nice outside lanais that we enjoyed sitting on enjoying a peaceful morning or nice evening. Kitchen had everything we needed. As well, there were chairs and an umbrella and some snorkeling equipment and beach toys in the closet which was very nice to have. We were there in October and the fans were enough to keep us comfortable. We loved the location. It was an easy drive to Hanalei Bay and of course, Princeville was right there. We didn't have any problems though I did call ahead of time with a couple questions and the service was great! We barely heard the neighbors above us and they were really nice. The chickens are part of life on the island and we enjoyed watching them! I highly recommend this place.

Large 2 Bedroom 2 Bath value unit in Princeville

Large 2 bedroom 2 bath unit in Kamahana condominium complex with large living room. Property management was very responsive in addressing concerns about the cleanliness of the unit. When we arrived the floors were very dirty so the property management company sent housekeeping over to thoroughly clean the floors. The living room and dining area is not well lit so that made it very difficult to read at night. The dining room lamp needs to be changed to provide more lighting for eating at the dining table. (Additional side lamps were provided.) While the unit is very large and the kitchen well-equipped with cooking utensils, it is not quiet with the windows and sliding doors open in the morning with the roosters up early or the neighbors above moving around. The value of the unit was a fairly good deal in comparison to other properties in the area which is why we had booked this unit.

Good location

We liked the size and outdoor space. The kitchen had everything we needed. The pool was a very short walk. There was plenty of detergent, soap, paper products and towels. The closet had an assortment of excellent beach gear and even hiking poles. There's no a/c, just fans. I was fine with windows open, but my husband was hot. We did see a few beetle/roach? -like insects. I suppose those are hard to avoid on a ground floor near other homes with doors and windows open all the time. Overall, it was a good experience.

If you are looking for a nice 2 bedroom condo to stay in, this is for you. The condo was well maintained and stocked with everything you need. Just so you are aware, there is not AC in the condo, but they have adequate fans and plenty of screened sliding doors that you can open. I never got hot in the condo and I am someone who needs AC. Princeville Foodland is very close for your groceries and supplies. We enjoyed our stay very and we would rent this condo again but longer. Time of stay Mid May until the end of May

The property advertised being a 10 minute walk to the beach but there is NO access to a beach. The property size is great and there was beach items available in a closet to use but no beach nearby. The property’s carpet was damp when we arrived and by the 3rd day mushrooms and black mold was growing out of the carpet. There is no air conditioner so it was always very hot in the condo. The rental agency did provide fans but it was difficult to sleep. Thankfully the fans did block some of the Rooster noise that was 24/7. The rental company did move us to another unit once they were aware of the mold and mushrooms.

Amazing, professionally managed property

We had a lovely stay in Kauai, in no small part thanks to our great accommodations! The property is professionally managed and it shows. Everything was immaculate, checking in and out was easy, there were no crazy "do the rain dance at check out" instructions. The apartment feels like home and the back patio is excellent. There is no AC, but a bunch of fans and open windows are enough. Some reviews talk about chickens -- they are the only downside for those who like sleeping in. We are early risers so for us, they were delightful and fun neighbors. Next time we are in Princeville, we're going to be hard pressed not to come back!

Convenient Princeville condo

Loved the condo. Could have packed less thanks to washer and dryer. No AC, and really not needed, but something to consider for those with allergies. Ceiling fans in bedrooms. Only problem to note is lanai was unusable because of wild chicken droppings on cushions (ground floor). Sounds like they're trying to get them removed from property, however.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location:The house is a relatively short drive to Hanalei beach, and a walking distance to Queen's Bath (which was closed for a season). However, it's far from pretty much everything else on the island (since the road doesn't loop around the whole island, and this is near one of the endings). So we often had drives that were 1hr , and one time 2 hours when we went to Waimea Canyon.HouseThe house looks good and has a nice backyard, but there were numerous issues. First, we found a very large cockroach in our bedroom on the first day. We also found a Centipede (6inches or so) in the bedroom closet, which is venomous and definitely scary - I'm glad we only saw it on the last day when were about to leave, I wouldn't feel comfortable sleeping there anymore. The maintenance could definitely be better, e.g. you open bathroom shelf and it's really messy. Wifi was very very bad, washing machine and drier very old and the latter was barely functional. We were given very few beach towels (1 per person), which was also an issue since the drier never really worked. There's no AC, so in non-winter months it's probably a bigger issue.OverallI would definitely pick a different location on the island, so that the drives are drastically shorter. Also the house left a lot to be desired - finding live insects (one venomous) definitely doesn't give a nice feeling.

The back lanai is the star of the property, covered, nice garden view and private. Good barbeque. The location is good, not far from the water, Princeville's amenities (Foodland etc) and adjacent to the quiet golf course. The pool is close, and is lovely (if basic) and underused.The door to the separate upstairs unit is between the main entrance and the secondary bedroom, and directly outside its louvred window, so in that bedroom you hear very close some early morning comings and goings (working local residents). Mostly noise was not a problem.The kitchen and two full bathrooms are older, though functional and adequately supplied. The ants were definitely finding their way into the kitchen from outside at this time, though.We would certainly consider coming back, if circumstances normalize between our countries.

The front door of unit 30 was directly at the guest bedroom window, loud. The primary bedroom has a balcony above, loud . The unit needs a complete overhaul . Kitchen cabinets dirty, stuck closed, floors dirty , cockroaches , ants. Old TV, uncomfortable couch no for lounging around. We would never recommend this unit
