Villa Eden - true to its name!
We were a family of 4 and stayed 7 nights. Villa Eden is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood but reasonably close from everywhere. Property is absolutely beautiful- we enjoyed every corner of it. We particularly enjoyed the pool and BBQ area that allowed us to spend good amount of time out doors till sunset. Communication with the host was easy & effective. We would love to come back! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Perfection
Eden is aptly named as it provides a peaceful respite after touring through the beautiful Luberon Valley. The home is lovingly maintained and beautifully and thoughtfully appointed. Arthur and the caretaker Muriel provided a seamless check in and a thorough overview of all the hilltop villages and towns. Arthur's personal recommendations were spot on and allowed us good use of our time. The layout of the home worked well for our family of 4 adults and 1 child. We hold a high bar this home exceeded all our expectations.

We had a wonderful stay in Eden house. Its in a great location, very quiet and private. The inside of the house is immaculate. We were a family of 4 and it was very comfortable. This was our 6th time visiting the Luberon valley and would highly recommended staying here. Thank you Arthur for a great stay.

A home away from home, ideally located in Luberon
Arthur & Farida's home was the perfect option for our family. It's comfortable, big enough for 8 adults and 2 young kids. The house is really modern (all amenities are available), beautifully decorated and the fact that it's on one floor only makes it so easy to navigate inside. The life in the house is centered around the swimming pool, which makes it really lively. The house is really close to Gordes and Goult, which became our go-to places for dinners or breakfasts on the main square. The communication with Arthur & Farida was so easy, natural and they were always happy to help (adding one umbrella bed for our daughter, a high chair and even a microwave when we asked them to). We loved our stay at Eden house and would definitely come back!

Great Week in Provence!
We had a girls week in Provence (from US) and this was the perfect house for us. It is a 10 minute drive to all of the cute little towns (Gordes, Menerbes, etc) but feels off the beaten path but not isolated. The decor is well styled and low maintenance. We stayed in July and loved exploring the area or just hanging out by the pool with a view. We would definitely rent this house again. We also appreciated that the owner is super responsive by email.

Beautiful property in a stunning setting.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eden. Communication between owners and property managers was excellent. House was difficult to find and requires very close attention to the instructions - suggest providing a bit more description as to where the turn off is in relation to the surroundings. On arrival, the house was filled with light, fresh air and the pool beautiful. In the hot weather, the air conditioning was also refreshing. House and linens were clean. Lots of bugs in the house but not un-anticipated in a house as open to the outdoors as this one. We can't wait to return and would love to stay in this amazing home again.

Private and relaxing hideaway in the trees.
Two families (four teens ages 14-19) had a one week stay in June 2017. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed the home and its location tremendously. We fell into a perfect pattern of morning baguette and patisseries on the patio, followed by visiting villages and enjoying leisurely (and large) mid-day meals in charming provincial bistros. We spent the evenings at the house enjoying bottles of rose, cheeses, charcuterie and salad for dinner. The home is well located as a base for visiting the charming villages in the area and we visited many. We drove through fields of lavender and sunflowers, visited the abbey and indulged in plenty of rose. The quintessential trip to Provence Home: The house was well outfitted for our two families. The outdoor table and indoor table comfortably fit 8; the ‘L’ shaped layout of the home with the kitchen open to the eating area and living room on one side was a great space for spending time together; while the bedrooms on the other side of the home were a quiet refuge. There is a fabulous view of the pool/patio and beyond from the main rooms and master bedroom. The home is surrounded by trees offering privacy from the neighboring homes. Through the trees there is a beautiful view of the area. The pool and patio are wonderful and we enjoyed afternoon swims. (The pool was not heated but it was unnecessary as the days were very hot.) With four teens, the wi-fi was put to good use. We found it a little slow, but with eight people and teens with several devices it was not unreasonably slow. The photos are an excellent representation of the home. The house was well outfitted with dishes, washer/dryer, dishwasher etc. There were plenty of supplies (dish liquid, laundry detergent) available for our use which we appreciated. One note: The master bedroom/bathroom does not have a toilet. This toilet is down the hall next to the room with the twin beds. There is another toilet room near the main entrance, and a full bathroom between two rooms with queen beds. The owners were very responsive to the few issues which arose and addressed these promptly. Feedback: We were slightly disappointed that the fire pit was not operational for our stay as we would have enjoyed this in the evenings. There was no propane in the BBQ and we were informed it was our responsibility to fill it. This would be good information in advance of arrival. Adding more seating in the living room would enhance the space.

modern, spacious and private
Myself and my family enjoyed a fantastic week long break in the Luberon valley at this property. The pace of local life is slow and thats exactly what we wanted. The owners description of "remote but not isolated" describes the region perfectly. There are a number of beautiful towns to visits all within a 15km radius. The area is perfect for walking and cycling, we also enjoyed the pool on the property for cooling off in what was a beautiful week of sunshine. i would highly recommend this to any family or group of friends looking to escape city life for a week of relaxing and the easy pace of the french countryside. nathan

Amazing property with a stunning backdrop
My fiance and I enjoyed a fabulous week here, the property and surrounding area was so relaxing we didn't even mind sharing the house with both set of parents! The layout and size of the property is great so that even with six adults in the house we didn't feel like we were living on top of each other. The attention to detail of this immaculate property is clear to see from arrival with the infinity pool warmly inviting you into the property. Expertly furnished with an eye for detail and very well maintained we happily wiled aways days enjoying breakfast and lunch on the terrace and finished many an evening looking at the stars accompanied by the warmth & spectacle of the fire pit and of course a glass or two of the delightful local wines. We cycled to most of the local villages, Goult, Bonnieux, Gordes, Saint Pantaleon and found they all have their own charm and beauty that is typical of the Provence area. The parents drove to Lacoste, Avignon and Uzes and returned with equally glowing reports. The owners also prepare a very informative welcome and visitors pack which assisted us greatly. In summary, the Luberon Valley is a must visit place and this house is the perfect place to base yourselves. Ross and Vicky

A place to revitalize
We have enjoyed our stay at Eden House very much. Tranquility and comfort were nicely balanced at an equitable price. Warm and professional guidance by the owners. We will consider this as a return location for the future.

Stunning Home Tucked Away in the Heart of Gordes
We stayed here with our small family and 2 other couples a total of 8 adults and 2 infants and it was absolutely wonderful. The home is located just off the main road with views over looking the valley and vistas of Bonneiux. The location is sublime. The city centre of Gordes is a mere 8-10 minutes away and we were a stone throw away from the gorgeous sunflower fields and lavender! We loved dining here in the cool evenings with the outdoor fire pit on. It was a wonderful experience with the open concept of the kitchen and living room leading to the terrace outside. Breakfast was also a delight with the morning rays hitting the sun and pool. The rooms were perfect for our family and the beds new and comfortable. We also really enjoyed all the Italian loungers and tables. Quality products and were very impressed. The inside of the home was also tastefully done! We were thoroughly impressed! Thank you for the use of the bicycles we really appreciated it. We hope to be back again. Thank you for helping create wonderful memories of our time in Provence. PS. We did the hike behind the house and it was as you said, the ENTIRE view of the valley! What a beautiful secret hidden spot to see the entire beauty of Provence.

Exceptional House , Exceptional Location
Eden is an extremely well equipped, comfortable and spacious house. It is very different from the other properties in the area because it is so light and airy with an extensive garden. The large picture windows which open onto the garden and pool area have wonderful views over the valley towards the Luberon and the hilltop villages of Bonnieux and Roussillon. It is very well equipped and had everything we needed to make our stay there an enjoyable one. It has good wi-fi connection and TV. We ate most of our meals out of doors but the joy of this house is that the kitchen area and dining area are elevated and also face out over the lounge area towards the garden so it always possible to enjoy the views. The large pool is exceptional and from it there are views of the garden and distant hills. There are loungers and umbrellas around the pool and a gas fired barbecue. We enjoyed being outside until well into the evening. We like walking and cycling and the immediate area and beyond gave us plenty of opportunities to do both. The proximity of so many beautiful villages with their markets and cafés meant we always had fresh produce not to mention wine from the local vineyards. There were plenty of places to eat if we didn't want to cook ourselves. Some days we went further afield to explore the antique markets and places of historical interest. A great holiday !

Stunning home in excellent location
First time we had visited the area and we couldn't have asked for a better base to both relax in and explore the beautiful Luberon. Upon arrival you are greeted by the sweeping driveway and beautiful gardens, (hopefully you'll be lucky enough to arrive in lavender season) which frame the house beyond. Ample parking for several cars is found directly behind the house. The house itself is spacious, stylish and extremely well equipped throughout providing everything you could possibly need for a truly relaxing break and more. We loved the open plan but separate living/dining areas. Bedrooms were located down a separate corridor and all were comfortable and welcoming with the master offering both wonderful views and a luxury en-suite. Many days were spent relaxing by the pool, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and stunning vista. Evenings were spent on the terrace on in one of the many restaurants in the surrounding towns and villages (more of which below) The village is a short stroll away and offers charming places to eat as well as somewhere to buy fresh bread for breakfast. We also enjoyed walks through the woods directly behind the house with breathtaking views after a short ascent. The house was also ideally positioned to enjoy the very best of the Luberon with what must be some of the most beautiful villages in all of France. Of the many highlights were Gordes and Goult (both a short drive or cycle away and offering a wide range of cafés and restaurants). Slightly further away were the hilltop villages of Lacoste, Menerbes and Bonnieux, the wonderful antiques market at I'Isle sur-la-sorgue and the many attractions found in Avignon, still within very easy reach
