This old house offers you calm, serenity, fishing in the heart of nature.

This old Vosges farmhouse surrounded by nature, consists of a fully-beamed apartment, and a barn. In the kitchen, the water stone, the entrance to the bread oven and the sandstone tiles on the floor stand alongside contemporary household appliances. You can rest there, walk on the numerous marked paths, go to the picking of wild fruits or mushrooms. In winter, skiers and sledgers can slide on the snowpack that covers the ground in January and February. This haven of peace is located in the heart of the cradle of fly fishing where the fisherman can tease the trout there from March. Car rides will allow you to discover the Vosges massif with its landscapes, its craftsmen and its monuments. A small expedition to the source of the Moselle in Bussang or to the plateau of a thousand ponds, the visit of the old copper mines in Thillot or a session of well-being at the Plombières thermal baths can easily be envisaged. The vineyards of Alsace on the other side of the Vosges massif will delight lovers of white wine.

Basic but comfortable stay

This house offered exactly what we were looking for this autumn: a week away with the family in nature, beautiful views, enough things to do <1h ride away, a lovely kitchen with fireplace and a kids-proof house. Basic, but comfortable. We had a few great walks, recommendations: - Fôret de Mérelle in Gerardmer: brisk walk with some rock climbing 2.5-3 hours. - Rupt-sur-Moselle: Walk via Grotte de la Sauture, among others. With some climbing but doable. - Walk to Saint-Mont: easy to do with children, beautiful view. - Walk up to le Ballon d'Alsace, short route to the top, bit touristic, but worth the view. Furthermore, a warm recommendation for Epinal, including the musée de l'image, walking along la Moselle, and the park at the chateau has an extensive playground for children up to 8 years old. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped with (among other things) a food processor, blender, hand blender, pressure cooker, toaster, Dutch oven, kitchen scale, rolling pin and quiche molds. For those who enjoy cooking, it is useful to bring sharp knives and your own spices + other basics such as baking paper. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. The 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds is located separately on the 1st floor and is accessible via a landing. Maybe a bit far away for young children. Bathroom is basic, but fine. Shower has a good jet, but with 4 people you have to be careful with available hot water. Other plus points: lots of sockets (these are often scarce in h

Magischer Ort

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem abgelegenen, ruhigen Haus, mit magischer Umgebung.Sehr rustikal und durch seine Ursprünglichkeit konnten wir gut vom Alltagsstress runter fahren.Was in der Anzeige nicht ganz klar wurde, sind die zusätzlichen Kosten durch Strom (21-27 Cent pro kWh) und Holz kostet einen Euro pro Scheid.

Sympa dans l'ensemble quelques defauts qui devraient être amélioré facilement :Chambre du haut pas très adaptée pour les enfants passage dans grenier un peu dangereux fenêtre avec carreaux cassé et coupant. Chauffage de salle de bain trop vieux fonctionne mal une centaine d'euros pour le changer suffirait à améliorer le confort. Manque un peu de vaisselle pour familles nombreuse . Assise et coussins du canapé glissent tout le temps . Sinon l'endroit est très sympa très calme

Sehr solide und sauber. Sehr ruhig & nette Vermieter. Es kommen jedoch noch zum Mietpreis, die Stromkosten . Diesen Hinweis hatte ich möglicherweise übersehen.

Eine ruhiges Berghaus über dem Moseta

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Die Kommunikation war einfach, unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Wer Ruhe mitten in der Natur sucht, liegt hier richtig.

Natur rundherum

Wer es ruhig und naturnah mag, ist hier genau richtig! Auf dem schönen Wiesengrundstück, das von Wald umgeben ist, hört man nur einen kleinen Bach rauschen. Sehr erholsam! Für Menschen, die eine technische Verbindung zur Außenwelt brauchen: Dass es kein WLAN gibt, ist aus der Beschreibung herauszulesen, allerdings ist auch der Internetzugang je nach Tageszeit und Wetter teilweise nicht möglich.

gîte tranquille dans la nature

Nous avons apprécié nos vacances dans cette maison ancienne et sobre. Le jardin est beau et grand, avec même une petite rivière et une cascade. L'herbe haute rendait difficile le placement du salon de jardin à l'extérieur, ce qui était un peu dommage. Mais ça reste un beau jardin, une source de paix et un paradis pour notre chien. La région est très belle et si vous souhaitez conduire jusqu'à une demi-heure, il y a aussi quelque chose à faire. Nous avons visité l'écocentre de cérise, une forteresse, la cascade du Géhard (recommandée par temps chaud !!), les hautes-mines (mine de cuivre), le château d'Epinal, le Saint-Mont à St-Amé, … La maison elle-même est une ancienne ferme, avec écurie (utile pour les chaussures de marche, les conserves...) et est meublée simplement. Le salon a besoin d'un peu d'attention, mais nous étions souvent assis confortablement dans la cuisine pour parler un peu ou faire des jeux. Nous avons passé de belles vacances 

Heerlijk rustige omgeving. Grote tuin! Van alles in de buurt te doen. Sober ingericht huis.

We hadden goed weer. Het huis beviel goed: in de warmte lekker koel binnen. Entree met de stapstenen is een beetje lastig, maar goed handvat aan de muur. Omgeving heel mooi. Zeer aardige gastvrouw en -heer. Prima communiceren via whatsapp (en google translate). Zeer schoon! Bedden wat doorgezakt in het midden. Communicatie met VRBO van tevoren ging heel moeizaam.

Ich bin dann mal weg Ferien

Umgeben von Bäumen und Wasser konnten wir uns, in dem freundlichen alten Haus, wunderbar erholen. Es gibt viele Wanderwege und etwa 1000 kleine Seen zu entdecken. Wir und unsere zwei Hunde hatten eine mega gute Zeit. Wir lebten einfach unseren Rhythmus. Danke für Alles Madame Bourquard. „Mir heis eifach numä gnossä! Hat den Erwartungen nicht entsprochen

Unklare Anreiseinformationen; besser.: Hauptstraße durch Rupt s.M. bis Maxonchamps dann über die Moselbrücke und weiter bis unter die Brücke der Schnellstraße nach Remiremont- dann nach links Richtung Beuille ein Waldsträßchen hinauf für ca. 1,3 km; bei den gelben Schildern nach rechts bis zum 1. Haus rechts. Den Zugang zur Haustür hätte kein TÜV genehmigt ( verschieden große Steinquader). Dem Grunde nach sauber, wenn man vom Schimmel in Dusche und Spülbecken in der Küche absieht. Kein Toilettenpapier, keine Handtücher, kein Geschirrtuch, kein Handspülmittel ( es war nicht erkennbar, dass dieses mitgebracht werden muss). Es ist alles sehr spartanisch. Das Brennholz muss extra bezahlt werden (1 cbm 25 €). Die Vermieterin war nett und hilfsbereit; es wirkte aber alles seeehr sparsam. Das Haus hatte zu Beginn einen etwas muffigen Geruch, der sich dann aber teilweise verflüchtigt hat. Die Hunde mussten extra bezahlt werden - aber das ist ok. Vielleicht wäre es insgesamt besser, den Mietpreis etwas höher zu setzen und dafür mehr zu bieten. Sparsam ist gut, aber so sparsam nun doch wieder nicht. Es ist mir unerklärlich, wie diese durchweg hohen Bewertungen zustande kommen.

Einfach und sehr gemütlich

Für den Jahreswechsel wollten wir einfach weg. Das renovierte Bauernhaus liegt am Berg und ist über eine kleine Zufahrtsstraße erreichbar. Es ist alles da. Ein toller Holzofen in der Küche, die gleichzeitig als Hauptaufenthaltsraum dient (Wohnzimmer gibts auch noch). Für Freunde, die für eine Nacht kamen, stand eines der 3 Schlafzimmer zur Verfügung. Mein Französisch ist immernoch grottig - aber die Vermieterin trugs mit Fassung und der Kontakt war sehr freundlich :-) In der Umgebung gibt es tolle Wander- und Joggingstrecken. Der Bäcker im Ort ist einfach super. Es hat eine Woche lang gegossen und niemand hat sich beschwert. Wasserdichte Klamotten und los... Man kommt nach jedem Ausflug gerne und das kleine Haus zurück.

Midden in de natuur

We hebben een erg fijne tijd gehad in dit huis. De kamers waren netjes en de gastvrouw zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het huis ligt in een rustige omgeving midden in de prachtige natuur met supermarkten en winkeltjes binnen goed afrijdbare tijden. De bedden zijn zeer goed en er is voldoende hout om de kachel te branden. Al met al een fijne tijd gehad!

Très agréable séjour

Super séjour à la ferme typiquement Vosgienne, un accueil au top, propriétaires très gentils et très accueillants, on s’est senti de suite à l’aise. Je recommande cet établissement aux fanas de la nature ;-) les enfants ont adoré !
