Smooth easy experience. Excellent facilities at the property with plenty of space. Excellent outdoor space and good location. 1st time away with the dog abd was really enjoyable. Thank you so much and would certainly go again
Well presented bungalow in a quiet location but close to all the village amenities. Perfect for a peaceful stay.
The dog loved the play field at the rear of the property. Would recommend to others....

Nice property
Nice property in a nice area , however you are charged for your electric use which is a bit steep considering the price
Excellent property and location. Had the best time with my mum and teenage son and the dog. Has everything you need and more. Garden was very muddy due to the heavy rain we have had recently but otherwise lovely. Would certainly recommend and will be staying again. Thanks so much its a little home away from home with the seaside added in
A well kept property in a well kept area of the town. Can't complain about that. Walk to the beach took a little longer than we thought as there aren't any cuts-through that could be used...but that's not the property's fault. Can fully recommend the property.
You could tell dogs had been in, living room really smelt bad, tried to contact host no reply by phone then he emailed and emailed him back still awIying reply,

Needs some updating
Property really needs some updating, kitchen taps, shower, kettle leaks, toaster ineffective. Toilet seat broken. It lacks good utensils, was almost impossible to cut an onion! Fridge is tiny so would be a challenge if staying any longer than a weekend. For transparency the listing should state that you need to pay for electric by topping up the meter, the cost is minimal and not a problem but its the fact that you don't find out until you receive key info etc which is just before arrival!
The property was excellent. Very comfortable indeed. Lovely sofas and beds. Very clean and tidy. Garden amazing & will be great in summer, very quiet and safe for dogs.
Has bath and shower which for me is a bonus.
Nice quiet location, not far from shops and beach. Not really walking distance but a short drive.
Oven outdated and old, difficult to control hob and oven temperature, needs modernising. Also holiday maker pays for electric as an extra? Never heard of that before and we stay in holiday cottages several times a year. The price to rent is not cheap, so should include electric!
Overall would recommend this holiday home.
Nice little property but needs some maintenance and a little TLC. In comparison to surrounding properties it looks a little unkempt. All windows left on latch which meant there were cobwebs everywhere and bugs on all windows. So be prepared to vacate some creatures on arrival.
It does have everything you could need for a comfortable stay but again eveything in the kitchen was sticky and dusty and there was a cupboard under the sink that was just about hanging on, this was mentioned in a previous review(few monrhs back) and still hasnt been fixed properly.
It was quite expensive for a 2 night stay to then be asked to top up the electric, was a shocker even our family were bemused at this!!! This should be mentioned on booking!!
If you fixed all the above you could have a returning customer.

It is clean near amenities. And dog friendly
Have been to this cottage a couple of times. It is lovely. But electric expensive.
Especially if you need to put on some heating. Always booked with home away didnt know it was taken over by vrbo. That caused some confusion. And at times could not understand what was being said.
Close to beach & town centre.
Needed more info on the area on arrival, (please review welcome pack)
Once we found our bearings really enjoyed our stay.
Please get rid of rug in lounge !!!!
Would definately stay again.
The place is fantastic! It's decorated lovely, you have everything you need and in a perfect quiet spot.
Owners seem really nice and are there when you need them.
Would 100% recommend :)
Bungalow was set in a pleasant area close enough to shops and beach with a lovely garden for our dog, however the bungalow had stone tiled floors which made the property very difficult and expensive to keep warm. Great in the summer months but not really suitable for a winter break. If heating had been included in the cost it would have been better.
We have had a great stay, everything we needed was available in this spacious, clean and comfortable bungalow, set in a great location close to the shops and to the sea. We look forward to staying here again.
Every thing you need ,nice and quiet but only a short walk to the centre of Chapel St Leonard’s, if you like a walk you can get to Ingoldmells along the sea front with cafes on the way.
Simple grassed garden which gets the sun all day.
Will go again 10 out of 10 👍

Clean and simple
We stayed for 3 nights with our two boys (11 & 12yrs) and had a lovely short break. The property is conveniently located in a quiet spot, with a Spar shop close by for the essentials and other attractions just a short drive away. The house was very clean and decorated to a reasonable standard but I found the mattress far too soft for my back. We were left 2 small towels and 4 hand towels so definitely worth taking your own. We found £30 of electricity to be more than enough for our stay.
I wouldn’t stay here again simply because of the mattress but otherwise no complaints.

mini break
We booked on Tuesday afternoon and arrived Wednesday afternoon. The bungalow was very well cleaned even at such short notice.I had been unable to get up the details on my iPad so didn,t know what to expect.
The beds were comfortable and bedding was provided. We hadn,t stated that we wanted to use the single bed too so there was no bedding.Fortunately I had taken a blanket and sheets.( my husband has sleep apnoea so needs room for his breathing machine)
The house is tiled throughout hygienic but chilly.Rug in the lounge and by the bed.Electricity has to be paid for but the heaters soon get the place cosy
It is pet friendly with a safe garden but on the downside the lounge does smell doggy.
We had sunny weather on all four days, warm to begin with but freezing on the last day!Chapel has a pleasant row of shops, cafes.and a large co op.
Most shops shut at 4.00 in the late season
We visited Boston Stump which is well worth an hour,s drive
All in all a very pleasant break in a new area for us.

Nice bungalow but....
The bungalow was clean but when you opened the bathroom door you got a smell of dampness in there and i was disappointed that you could not leave your pet alone in the house if had known that before booking we would not have booked it.

Well appointed bungalow on very quiet estate
Property was easy to find. Off road parking available. Access to the property using key code was easy. The property was well equipped, with good internet access, although some TV channels experienced some breakup. The conservatory, although small, was very pleasant as was the rear garden. A very useful information pack was provided, and local amenities within easy walking distance.
The only negative aspect was the cleanliness of the bathroom floor.
There was also a need for some maintenance in the kitchen. One of the drawer fronts was detached and a hinge was broken on one of the cupboard doors.
