Open concept living/dining area w/cathedral ceiling overlooking the water with stunning sunrise views. Beautiful rustic style and modern design kitchen. Two bedrooms on first floor plus a loft with a broad view of the water. Updated rustic modern bathroom includes a bathtub. Nicely wooded lot with a gradual slope to shore. Sandy entry into water. Dock at shore. Short ride to Naples causeway and area activities. Good fishing, boating and swimming. Lovely large deck and a shore side fire pit. On site Parking for two cars. This is a peaceful spot. The water is one of the highest rated for quality in the state. Private dead-end road. It has both a charcoal and a gas grille.

Bring your own sheets and towels. There are three full size beds and one queen size.

Spring and Fall travelers will take advantage of the wood burning stove and supplied cord wood.

Another great week at the lake.

Love this property! Great location, perfect set up for a family of four and ideal proximity to Naples. The hosts are welcoming, responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend this property for your summer getaway.

Wonder stay at Trickey Pond

We had a wonderful time at Jim and April's cottage. It was the perfect location. We enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake. Our two pups enjoyed morning walks and swimming in the lake. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing Stay!

We could not have enjoyed our time at Jim and April's cottage more! The cottage was very nice and spending time on the lake was special. It was super easy to communicate with Jim. We would highly recommend this place.

Peaceful pond

We enjoyed our return to this special place. The cottage is charming and very nicely appointed. We enjoyed relaxing on the float dock, paddling in the pond, dining on the deck and evening camp fires. Our dogs enjoyed swimming in the pond and long walks on the road. Jim and April are perfect hosts!

Lovely experience

We absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful location.. breathtaking view and so peaceful. The only thing I would say is that the scatter rugs were a tripping hazard for elders so we just placed them under the coach while we there there and a railing in the front stairs are needed. But we used side stairs … overall beautiful place!!!

Comfy Cabin, Great Views, and Perfect Location

Cabin and location were fantastic for a relaxing getaway. The views from the cabin were beautiful and crystal clear water...we very much enjoyed in the fall temps and would be a great summer stay. So much to see and do in the lakes region of Maine and this is an ideal location. Close to everything that you need, yet far enough away so that you can enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of this part of Maine. Jim and April were very easy with communications and we had everything that we needed for a great stay!

Great stay at Gladview!

Wonderful property inside and out. Jim was a great host and responded to our questions quickly. There’s plenty to do at Trickey Pond, We made use of the kayaks and SUPs and had fires in the pit. We found some nearby hiking trails and really appreciated our dogs being allowed to stay with us. Thanks Jim and April!

Relaxing get away

Great property located in a quiet and serene setting. We loved just sitting by the lake and taking in the quiet. Loved that the property was close to Naples, which gave us easy access to restaurants.

Peaceful retreat

We enjoyed our return to this beautiful spot. The cottage is equiped with many conveniences and very nicely appointed. The water views are spetactular! The hosts are very accommodating and respond quickly to questions. Our pets were welcome too and we all had a great time.

Relaxing

We are all looking forward to a time away in Maine and this hit the spot. The location felt remote but still accessible to restaurants and stores. Our dogs were able to unwind. We couldn’t stop taking picture of the water. It has changed our opinions of lakes. The water was so clear. The fire pit and the wood stove were great places to gather. We highly recommend it.

Lovely Maine Pond Cottage

Jim and April have a lovely cottage on Trickey Pond. Though it was a bit cold for swimming, the clean water and swimming dock were very tempting. Our golden retriever thought the temperature was perfect and spent lots of time in the pond. We paddled around the beautiful pond as well as the Crooked and Songo Rivers and hiked in Sebago State Park. The wood stove was delightful on these chilly days. The master bedroom and bath are very modern and comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped.

Trickey Pond is Lovely!

We loved our stay at Trickey Pond at the end of August. The water is amazing. Perfect temperature and so clean! Swimming was a delight! The pond was pretty quiet with mostly paddle boards, kayaks and pontoon boats. No jet skis, thankfully. And across the way, all we could see was forest. Beautiful. The cottage was great and better than in the pictures. Very well equipped and comfortable. The owners have great taste and we admired the new bathroom, the kitchen and the light/fan fixtures. The road the cottage is on is quiet with a 15 mph speed limit. Walking the dogs on it was a treat and we met many nice people on the way. All in all, a great place to stay.

Gorgeous cottage on gorgeous pond

This was my 3rd trip to this beautiful cottage on Trickey Pond. Fully stocked kitchen, air conditioners, fire pit, 2 bedrooms with two extra beds in the loft on the most beautiful/clean pond in Maine. Thanks for a great vacation. See ya next year. Anne B. (Montana )

Trickey Pond Fun

This is a fantastic place to vacation. The view of the pond is awesome. This was our second time at this same house. The owner, Jim, was available for any questions we had. I highly recommend this VRBO.

Great week at the lake!

We spent a week at this lake house and had a blast. The house was the cleanest pet friendly property we’ve ever rented. Plenty of space for everyone and a great loft area for our teen/tween kids. Both bathrooms were spotless and roomy and the kitchen was well stocked. Access to the water was perfect with a dock, floating dock and small set of stairs to step down to small sandy area, which is great for dogs and little kids. We took full advantage of the SUPs and kayaks and enjoyed calm days on the pond when the larger surrounding lakes were too rough to swim and boat bc of weather. The house is a very short drive to downtown Naples where there are great eats and activities. If you’re looking for a great house at the lake, this is it!!

It was perfect I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay

From the moment we arrived it was amazing, Jim was so friendly and so nice. The house and property well that is another story it was beyond what we expected, my family was so excited when they finally got to see where I booked our stay. Once we got settled in we felt like we were home, we had everything we basically needed there to enjoy our stay. We brought our own food to cook and was so happy to see how we were able to adjust and relax. Each day we were so excited to see the sunrise and see the beautiful view, my family said this trip was better then when we went to a tropical island. They loved it so much we are planning on booking again next year but this time stay longer. Thank you so much Jim for opening your beautiful home so we can enjoy it!
