Cénac-et-Saint-Julien is a commune of the Périgord noir located at the edge of the Dordogne, at the foot of the bastide of Domme, eleven kilometers from the town of Sarlat-la-Canéda and eighteen kilometers from the town of Gourdon.

It is close to tourist places such as Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, Beynac, La Roque-Gageac, the Château des Milandes and the gardens of Marqueyssac.

Holiday 2024

We had a wonderful relaxing time in the property. It’s very secluded, quiet, spotlessly clean, it was perfect for us. The pool is cold but lovely. A perfect place to relax and unwind. We will Definitely be returning.

Un excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison située au calme en pleine campagne mais tout proche des principaux points d'attrait de la région (15-20 minutes en moyenne). Nous avons apprécié la grande piscine privée pour nous et nos enfants, la maison qui reste fraîche malgré la chaleur la taille des pieces de vies et chambres qui permettent d'avoir de l'espace, la vue dégagée depuis la terrasse... Merci à nos hôtes pour l'accueil. Si nous revenons dans la regions nous y reviendrons avec plaisir

Très bon séjour

Très bon accueil des propriétaires dans ce gîte idéalement placé, très propre et très bien aménagé ! Ce gîte, au calme, permet de rayonner très rapidement sur les sites à visiter, et se situe au départ de nombreux chemins de randonnée ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Un séjour parfait

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, dans une maison très confortable, propre et fonctionnelle. L'espace extérieur est sensationnel pour les amateurs de nature et de tranquillité. La maison est tout à fait conforme à l'annonce et même encore plus spacieuse que ne le laissent paraître les photos. Nous avons été charmés par la région. La commune est bien située car nous avons pu découvrir plein de sites sans faire de longs trajets. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr !

Très bon accueil et maison très propre et confortable conforme au descriptif. Maison très bien située pour faire de belles visites dans des lieux magnifiques. De plus pour cette dernière quinzaine de septembre nous avons eu un temps d'été très appréciable.

Lovely gîte!

Lovely gîte in a very quiet location. The children loved playing in the pool and watching the cows in the field. The property was very clean and well equipped. Remember to bring sheets and towels. The owners were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Excellente adresse

Accueil très sympathique. Situation idéale pour visiter la vallée de la Dordogne. Gîte au calme et bien équipé. Très propre. Il était trop dans la saison pour tester la piscine mais nous avons apprécié la grande terrasse avec vue sur la campagne. Vraiment impeccable.

Très agréable séjour

Nous avons séjourné 2 semaines dans ce gite. Nous n'avons que des remarques positives. Nous avons reçu un très agréable accueil des propriétaires. Le logement est très bien équipé, propre et la pièce à vivre est vaste et lumineuse. La terrasse, vaste dans un environnement calme et paisible. Les enfants ont pris plaisir à utiliser dans la piscine, la cour et la table de ping-pong. Enfin, le logement est très bien placé pour visiter avec peu de kilomètres les sites emblématiques de la Dordogne.

Excellent séjour dans une région touristique et gastronomique

Maison en tout point conforme à la description. Très bon accueil par les propriétaires qui nous avaient préparé des petites attentions à notre arrivée. L’emplacement est idéal pour les visites dans un rayon de 30 Km. La maison est au calme, dommage nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la piscine car beaucoup de pluie avant notre arrivée et piscine en cours de nettoyage. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

En vacances avec 2 personnes de ma famille , nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette maison au calme , trés propre .Les propriétaires sont charmants , ils sont à l'écoute et disponibles tout en restant très discrets .Je conseillerai sans probléme cette maison .La piscine est magnifique , le temps ne nous a pas permis d'en profiter pleinement mais le peu de temps que nous y avons passé a été trés apprécié . trés bon séjour pour nous 3

Rustig gelegen

Niettegenstaande het niet zo mooie weer hebben we een prachtige week doorgebracht in de dordogne. Het huisje is ideaal gelegen op een erg rustige locatie maar dichtbij vele bezienswaardigheden. Bij aankomst troffen we een netjes onderhouden en van alles voorzien huisje aan. De eigenaars zijn heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en houden zich respectvol op de achtergrond. Prijs kwalieit zeker een aanrader!

Beautiful location and good facilities

The cottage was well equipped and spacious. The pool was lovely and kept my 3 teenage children occupied for most of the two weeks. The location is beautiful and there are lots of places to visit. Domme and Sarlat are both lovely. Did some walking around the area which was stunning. Lots of hills. Only slight criticism would be the WiFi which was weak at times.

Ideal location

We spent 2 pleasant weeks in this comfortable, well-maintained cottage with lovely deck and pool. Christine and Olivier were very kind. We were close to many of the interesting villages of the Dordogne. We enjoyed the countryside and the cattle grazing beyond the pool. The only negative was that the internet was a little weak at times.

Tout est parfait

Excellente semaine dans un cadre enchanteur. Environnement très calme et reposant au son des chants d'oiseaux. Maison très bien équipée, très propre et confortable. Terrasse très agréable et piscine privée très bien entretenue et de belle dimension. La région regorge de sites remarquables à visiter. A conseiller sans modération.

Tranquility

Clean, tidy, well equipped. Wasn't expecting the bed to be as comfortable as it was; we slept so well. Such a quiet retreat, time to recharge and relax. Great cycling around the area through the walnut trees (we brought our bikes with us). Olivier and Christine were great hosts. Would definitely recommend as a quiet retreat at the start or the end of the season, and incredible value for money. Cannot fault it
