Besides the previously mentioned dust, old beds and general need for some TLC, our holiday was great. Host was great at answering questions. The check in was easy and house was spacious.
Generally a good property for our my two adult children, spouses and grandkids, well equipped for eat IN and relaxing after skiing.Further detail on shuttle service to and from the village and ski runs would have been nice, after discovering shuttle service it was great. overall a comfortable stay and I would stay there again if the opportunity came up.
We had a great time. Location had great ski in/out access. No problems getting in or out, kitchen was adequately supplied (but could use a couple higher quality knives for picky folks). We had a fantastic time with friends celebrating a 50th b-day party. Would come back again. Note: like most ski condos, parking is limited to 2 cars. Both of us drove full size pickups and mine (Toyota Tundra) barely fit in the garage.
Whilst overall we had a pleasant stay, we felt that one of the rooms should not have been classed as a double bedroom. There was no window, no wardrobe, was directly off the kitchen and there was absolutely no room to be able to walk around the bed. It was extremely claustrophobic, basically a large cupboard rather than a bedroom!
We had an amazing trip, accommodations at the chalet were fantastic. Everything we needed was in the chalet. We never had to reach out to the manager as he provided everything very clearly before we got there.
My only complaint was the weather.
Would highly recommend chalet and would return again.
We had two adult friends and our adult kids/nieces and nephews. Nobody wanted to share a bed and there were so many little nooks with beds that it all worked out. Considering we were here over new year’s, it was surprisingly quiet. Nice unit, well equipped.
Nice spacious stay with a well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a day on the slopes. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
The location was amazing, the unit it self was not good. All the beds were hard and had the springs poking you all night. No sleep at all. The ad should be changed so it doesn't say there is a hot-tub as they do not run it during the summer. Bad smell from a old dirty diaper left in the back of a dresser drawer. Will not be returning to this unit.
well laid out main floor, lots of space (extra "room" and sleeping nook could allow extra people). Great hot tub used every day. 2 minute walk up to the Moguls Track run, and ski down 20 steps (sometimes less when snow allows) to the front door. stayed with family including 3 under 12 children... plenty of space.
Tree tops was a great place. Damian was very quick to communicate with us, and was very nice. The very short walk to the ski run was easy, and not an issue at all. It was very close. Ski in was also easy.
The townhouse was very nice, and a great space. The kitchen was fully stocked - best I've ever seen. We ski Big White every year, and this location is one of the best. Easy walk to the village. We hope to come back and would recommend this place to friends.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
In need of some TLC and Some Deep Cleaning Otherwise Good
The property fit our needs well overall. It is a true ski in/ with ski out being a bit of a walk up the hill to the run. Pros: Communication with the owner was good. Location was good. Overall layout of the unit was good. Kitchen well stocked with a variety of pots/baking dishes, etc. Cons: Some TLC required. Beds are very uncomfortable and need to be replaced or addition of foam topper would help. There were only 7 towels in the entire unit, no bath mats, no dish washing cloths, one tea towel, no broom, no shovel for the deck, etc. The unit needs a good cleaning throughout, in particular the window coverings. With a few minor improvements this could be an excellent stay.
I am giving this place a 4/5 stars.
Lets start with the good:
- Communication with the owner was OUTSTANDING! Never a issue. He was extremely helpful in answering all my questions.
- Fully stocked kitchen. You don't need to worry about needing anything.
- Heated garage was an amazing plus!
- 1 extra parking pass which helped as we had multiple vehicles.
- Hot tub was well maintained and great!
- Wi-Fi was perfect and full channels on TV.
Here is what I considered bad (you may not):
- Beds very hard. Owner needs to either replace mattresses or get a memory foam put on beds.
- Unit is a bit dated with patchwork repairs and older furniture.
- Extremely dusty on top of curtains, rocks on fireplace and on fake plants/flowers. Was a issue for us due to allergies.
- Walls very thin. Heard upper unit every time they walked around (however, this could just be who was renting the unit at the time - heavy walkers).
- Not a true ski in/out. You have to walk about 328 feet up hill to get to ski run for ski out. Ski in could only occur if they had not plowed parking lot of property.
- The company they use to service the hot tub walked into the unit without knocking or ringing bell at 9:10am on Saturday morning. They did not even announce they were there by calling out. We heard the door open and someone walk in and were confused to what was going on. After we called out "Hello?" then they said who they were. I understand that the hot tub needs to be serviced regularly but they SHOULD knock/ring door bell before walking in.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Would we rent again? Probably not. Only because we like a true ski in/out. Would I recommend the unit? Yes, but be aware of the negatives.
