Quimiac is the seaside part of Mesquer, a charming little village between land and sea. On foot or by bike, you will discover the diversity of the town. Starting from Lanséria, skirting the beach, you follow the coastal path to the tip of Merquel, entrance to the Traquer de Mesquer. The view of the coast and the ocean is splendid. An orientation table awaits you. Then you continue the coastal path to reach Kercabelec. It is the charming port of Mesquer, well known in the 18th century for the trade in salt from the Guérande peninsula to England. You continue on the pedestrian path to reach the village, the heritage house and the Le Skipper bar, an important meeting and music place.
You want to continue your discovery: go west to Piriac-sur-mer, an old fishing village very flowery and very lively with its old houses around the church. In the main street, pedestrian in season, shops, restaurants and bars open their doors to you.
