Aloha and Welcome to the Ohana.

Memorable sunsets are guaranteed almost every night in Maui. This condo is Kamaole Sands #6-201 and is an end unit which makes it quiet and also private. It is located in the INNER CIRCLE. You will enjoy a spacious one bedroom, two bathroom unit which has been remodeled with granite counter tops, floor to ceiling mirrors, tropical theme pictures and tiled throughout.

A queen sized bed is located in the Master Bedroom. A queen size 'Murphy bed' in the living room allows guests to sleep in comfort, not having the 'sofa-bed experience'. You will enjoy all the amenities of home including a full size washer and dryer and dishwasher. Experience the 'Aloha Spirit' with Hawaiian videos, books and music. Provided free are local phone calls in the unit and daily newspaper from the pool area and by the front desk. The unit is completely furnished from hair dryers to wine glasses to beach towels, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, and toys!

Experience the view from the LARGE lanai overlooking the beautiful gardens of the inner circle. The Wednesday Hula party at the pool with live music and Hula lessons is a must. A gym is located on the grounds with weights & machines to keep up your workout routine. An activities desk is located near the pool where you can book excursions to the peak of Haleakala or a snorkel trip to Molikini. Whatever activity you desire, they can help arrange for you.

Update: In Nov 2022, recovered the fabric on one of the family room chairs, along with adding new throw pillows for the couch. New dishes were put in service. In April 2023, Four lanai chairs were replaced. A Barn Door was installed in the hallway to reduce noise from the Washer/Dryer. One was also installed to replace the door to the Master Bathroom. Painting also was done to fix some problem areas.

Kamaole Sands is located at the south end of the town of Kihei, adjacent to beautiful Wailea. It is truly a 'destination resort' on fifteen acres of tropically landscaped grounds with fountains, ponds, a foot bridge, and walking paths. The large pool, 2 hot tubs, and keiki pool are perfect for family fun. There are three tennis and two pickleball courts and elevators in each building.

If golf is your love, you will experience love at first sight in South Maui. The weather is good year round and we are on the sunny side of the island with very little rain. Some of the best golf courses in the world are a few minutes away. Discounts are available for Resort guests at some local golf courses.

If shopping is your passion, many boutique shops along S. Kihei road in Kihei will entice you or head to Wailea town to the Shops At Wailea for some designer shopping to make even the most experienced shopper drop.

For the foodie, many culinary delights await you. Ask and I will make some great recommendations to meet any budget.

Kamaole Sands stay!

We had a great visit at Kamaole Sands. We had one issue with the floors not being very clean, but our host got the cleaning staff there very quickly to fix the situation and a nice condo to be in. Could use a few extra things like some Tupperware type stuff, but all in all a great time!

Great place by the beach

Really enjoyed our stay here. Location is great in Kehei, close to Wailea, and right across from the beach. Grill and pool areas were nice. Felt like plenty of space with two adults and two teenagers in the room.

The condo was clean, well-stocked, and in an excellent location. William was very responsive and answered all of my questions quickly.The condo itself was in a grat location within the complex, close to pools and BBQs and had a great view from the large lanai. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we would need to cook and clean for the week.

I had friends staying in another condo on the property and this condo layout and setup was superior. It’s a beauty, situated as an end unit with a bigger lanai. The owner promptly repelled to any questions I had.

Great Home Base

We had two teens with us and friends (another family of 4) staying in the condo below us. Worked out really well…lanai was large and so comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a long day. Beds were comfy and condo was well appointed with everything you need. Would rent again. Thanks so much for sharing your piece of paradise!

Great condo

My husband, kids and I haven stayed at this condo before. The location is great. The lanai is fantastic. The Murphy bed is so much better than a pull out couch. Sadly I had to cancel going this time, but my mom and her siblings still went. I had to send another family member to help them out and the owner was very accommodating. The only issue they had was the floor. They said the cleaners must have forgot to wash it. The condo and the bedding were clean otherwise. I would book here again.

Fantastic Vacation!

We stayed at Kamaole Sands and had a fantastic holiday. Kamaole Sands is located in the best location in Kihei, close to restaurants & shopping, all within walking distance. The beach is right across the street and beautiful. The condo itself had everything we needed and more. It's perfectly located near the pool and centrally located within the resort. The complex is very quite and very well maintained. The parking spot that comes with the condo is one of the best. Close to the door for easy packing and unpacking. We went to Maui along with 60 family members for a wedding and everyone who came into our condo said it was one of the best they had seen. The owner was wonderful to deal with and I would recommend unit 6-201 to anyone who wants to travel to Maui. We will definitely return!

Kamaole Sands Building 6 - 201

Our initial experience was not good. The condo was in a dirty state - dirty floors, shower/toilet/soap dish not clean, bio matter on walls and mattress cover. When this matter was brought before general manager Kasper, the condo was deep cleaned. This occurred over 2 days for which we were reimbursed. After the cleaning, our vacation resumed at the level to which we expected it to be in the first place. The condo is very nice but starting to show its age. The lanai looks over the central garden area. The grounds and buildings are immaculately kept. We would stay here again if cleanliness is kept up.

Lovely although needing a little TLC.

Our 5th time staying at Kam Sands. This condo was lovely although in need of some new paint, lanai furniture (one chair missing, the other three were beat up/had holes) and blinds (couldn’t open or close the living room window blind). The coffee pot had a lid that didn’t fit so had to buy keurig pods instead. Wifi only worked intermittently after the first day. Front desk gave us the password for another condo’s wifi two units away as the solution which wasn’t great as it was a very poor signal. Overall it’s a great unit, just in need of some TLC.

Great location

Beautiful resort, just a short walk to the most amazing beach. We snorkeled from shore every day with turtles during our stay. The condo was also furnished with everything you would need at the beach. Chairs umbrella snorkel gear. Would defiantly recommend this location.

We absolutely love Maui. William was a fantastic and responsive host.

Everything was great, location, proximity to beaches, the Kihei strip was close! The only concerns we had was around the AC. It was very loud and a bit dusty.

Maui get away

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was clean & quiet, felt very private on the corner unit. I loved the location to the pool & bbq's. Beach was right across the road - 2 min. & you were sitting on a beautiful beach. Everything you needed for the beach was in the balcony closet. The pictures are very accurate. It felt like we in a cozy tropical place. Pool & hot tub's & all the immunities were great. Murphy bed was a plus. It does have 2 full bathrooms. I liked the keyless entry, just used a code. Had a secure safe in the bedroom. We had a few issues with the locks, but the property staff were very helpful to try & resolve the issues. A few small appliances didn't work, but they did have extra's n the cupboard. Kitchen was very well stocked with kitchen items...pans... plates...etc. Close to shops & food.

Quiet Maui Getaway and great for families

My family and I really enjoyed staying at William's condo at Kamole Sands. Check-in process was very easy and using a code to unlock the doors/gates was definitely more convenient than a key. The condo has everything you could want for a few days or a month long stay. We really appreciated the provided beach chairs and cooler (even though it was missing the shoulder strap). My wife and I loved having our own bedroom and bathroom, and the in unit laundry allowed us to wash all our clothes before we ended our vacation. The view from the lanai was exactly as the pictures show in the listing, and was perfect for relaxing outside morning or night. William was a most gracious host and answered all my questions both before we left for our trip as well as during the stay. My only disappointment was that we did not stay longer to take advantage of all the amenities that this condo had to offer.

Very comfortable condo and complex

Great overall experience. The condo was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, extra towels, and many of the little things needed to make a week with the kids run smoothly. The Kamaole Sands complex was well-kept and quiet. The Kamaole III Beach park across the street was great, with restrooms, beach showers, grassy areas, nice sand and surf. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

I have been visiting Maui since I was 13 years old. My family owned a condo in Wailea for 19 years before I bought and I was lucky enough to spend a month or more in Maui for 15 of those years, most of that time around the holidays. I love it because it is so relaxing and I can get away.

Why they chose this property

I chose Kamaole Sands because it provides so many wonderful things, from the beach across the street to nap-a nap-a a pool-a pool-a(That's houli for sleep by the pool). It has something for everyone, young and old. I like it because it is very family friendly. Given I love spending my vacation time with my family on Maui, I wanted a place which supported that ideal.

What makes this property unique

I fell in love with this condo because it has the feel of Hawaii yet comes with modern conveniences. It is located in the inner circle with a beautiful view and is close to the pool and BBQ's.
