Einzigartiges Haus mit Traumaussicht

Das Haus hat eine außergewöhnliche Architektur und mehrere tolle Terrassen (Dachterasse!), von denen man einen gigantischen Blick aufs Meer und den Sonnenuntergang hat. Portobello ist eine gated community, dementsprechend waren die Strände leer und gepflegt. Abends ist es ruhig und man kann die Sterne bewundern und das Meeresrauschen begleitet einen in den Schlaf. Aber Vorsicht vor den Wildschweinen. :-) Ein schöner Ort und Ausgangspunkt für diverse Erkundungstouren auf Sardinien. Nur zu empfehlen!

Die Lage ist einzigartig. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist genau richtig. Gerne nochmals und nochmals... Das Haus hat noch eine Einliegerwohnung - aber komplett getrennt.

Buchung und Kommunikation mit Vermieter top, sehr nett! Lage traumhaft in der Macchia über dem Meer (ca 15 min Fußweg den Berg hinunter), sehr ruhig. Wenig Infrastruktur, nächster normale Supermarkt ca. 30 Min. Autofahrt, vor Ort gibt es aber einen kleinen (teureren) Markt, bei dem alles wichtige erhältlich ist. Umgebung paradiesisch. Haus wie beschrieben, traumhafter Blick über das Meer. Für Ruhesuchende ideal.

wonderful family holidays

Alessandro, the owner of the house was very kind, patient and friendly. He personally showed us around. This was very helpful. The house is stunning and special and the magnificent view over the ocean was even better. There are two little issues, Maybe you should do something against mosquitos. The second thing was that for over one week we didnt have wifi - although it turned out to be a blessing in the end. We enjoyed our holidays a lot! Family Klein

Lovely place

Villa Doria is a true one off, in terms of location and architecture, we felt very much at home and the views were so spectacular we didn’t really want to leave. It really is all about the terraces, where you can look out to sea for hours and enjoy spectacular sunsets. The private beach, cafe and restaurant on site were all delightful. We would definitely return here - thanks Alessandro!

Die Architektur und Lage des Hauses sind einzigartig. In der Küche sind alle notwendigen Utensilien vorhanden. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben den Ausblick und die Zeit dort sehr genossen.

Beautiful and relaxing

My partner and I stayed at Alessandro’s villa in Sardinia in the middle of September 2015. The drive from Olbia airport took over an hour but we found the place relatively easily. The pictures do not do justice to the villa, which is actually quite big and its architecture is fabulous. You can walk up the side steps of the villa in order to sunbathe on the two large roof terraces. The private villas are in a large separate area, manned by a security guard. Being the end of the season, the place was a little deserted. In fact, we were the only ones to dine at the Beach Club – this was on a Monday though… There is no direct way down to the beach, so the walk down was about 15 minutes. The beaches are rugged and absolutely beautiful, the colour of the sand and water combined was stunning. We snorkelled and saw a few fish. The weather was hot and sunny for most days, although we had rain in the middle of the week and it was windy for a couple of days. The best day was a boat trip from Palau on the Guincho with 13 guests and 2 crew. The mostly German guests were great fun and very friendly. There were a lot of boat trips being organised and we were lucky enough to choose the best one – highly recommended. On a practical note, there were plenty of “Supermarketo”’s on the main road towards Palau, and indeed there was one just outside Olbia airport. There isn’t much in the north and north-east of Sardinia itself, but the beaches are a taste of paradise. My partner’s comment: “no wifi and no kettle” at the villa. Bless.

"Wir hatten das gesamte Haus bestehend aus Haupthaus und angegliederter Ferienwohnung gemietet. Das Haus liegt innerhalb einer sehr angenehmen dezenten Anlage. Die Lage ist exponiert mit einem einzigartigen Panoramablick. Die Architektur ist außergewöhnlich (z.B. die runden Fenster). Man bemerkt die Liebe zum Detail an der Konzentration auf geschmackvolles Mobiliar, interessanten Bildern, Einrichtungsgegenständen und auch Basteleien. Wir haben hier einige Inspirationen für zu Hause bekommen. An der Ausstattung haben wir nichts vermisst. Alle Personen(von 3 bis 70 Jahren)haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Umgebung in Sardinien bietet viele schöne Strände, uns hat aber auch die "Hausbucht" (ca. 10 min. Fußmarsch)ganz doll gefallen. Diese bot auch bei windigerem Wetter Schutz und ein sehr schönes Schnorchelrevier. Die Woche war traumhaft und wir empfehlen es für Erholungssuchende, die etwas Besonderes abseits von belebten Tourismusorten suchen."

"Nous avons été enchanté ...

"Nous avons été enchanté par cette maison, de par son emplacement (vraiment exceptionnel) et son architecture avant-gardiste. Ces terrasses sur les toits, les baies vitrées rondes...toutes donnant sur un panorama incroyable. La maison se trouve dans une résidence privée très calme et les maisons sont nichées dans la végétation. On peut tranquillement se rendre à pied à la mer, il y a plusieurs criques très jolies. La maison a aussi pour avantage d'être en bout de résidence, donc pas de passage devant la maison, seulement la mer (avec Bonifaccio en face), et c'est un vrai spectacle. La maison en elle-même est vraiment très agréable à vivre, décorée avec goût et authenticité ! Nous sommes venus la 1ère semaine de mai et avons eu un temps très chaotique avec pas mal de pluie et de vent, mais malgré ces mauvaises conditions, notre séjour a été un vrai régal, les enfants (nous en avons 5 de 1 à 12 ans) pouvaient aller jouer sur les rochers en bas sans aucun danger. Les propriétaires sont charmants. Maison à recommander !"

"Fantastic location and beautiful home. The hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful which made our stay a real pleasure. There are some wonderful agriturismos near by and the place is very quiet if you are looking to relax without noisy neighbours or scooters. Only small issue was the beach is a 10minute walk, so if you are looking for something absolute beachfront then something to be aware of. A car is also necessary. This, however was not a problem for us and I can thoroughly recommend this wonderful holiday home. We would love to go back."

"On est parti avec nos de...

"On est parti avec nos deux enfants (11 et 3 ans) et un couple d'amis. Superbe séjour malgré un temps plutôt gris. La maison est géniale- un vrai coup de coeur - charme, vue superbe, architecture origninale, déco sympa, environs magnifiques (la petite crique à 100m était un endroit ravissant, désert et à l'abri du vent, il faisait délicieux au premier rayon de soleil - ma fille et moi avons même nagé le dernier jour dans l'eau transparent - brrrr). On a adoré nos soirées au coin du feu. La cuisine est super bien équippée, ce qui est important dans une maison un peu isolée. Enzo, le père du propriétaire nous a acceuilli gentiment, informé et nous a montré où tout trouver dans la propriété (l'ensemble résidentiel est composé d'une centaine de maison perdues dans la nature avec un petit centre et un supermarché). Des promenades et excursions super à faire dans la région (coup de coeur pour la rando à Capo testa et visite de Castelsardo). On rêve déjà d'y retourner... Mais peut-être un peu plus tard dans la saison pour être sûr de trouver le soleil! Un petit paradis pour ceux qui cherchent un vrai repos, loin du bruit pour déconnecter complètement. Les enfants ont adoré aussi - surtout les rochers à escalader partout. Les seuls bémols: quelques problèmes électriques (sans doute dûs aux chauffages électriques que l'on devait faire fonctionner souvent)- le propriétaire a déjà promis de s'en occuper - et la saleté de la côte avoisinante - pleines de déchets de toute sorte qui gachent un peu les promenades (mais ça, ça n'a rien à voir avec la maison...)."
