"Our stay was even better...

"Our stay was even better than we expected. The family was extremely helpful and friendly. The house was perfectly clean and we had lots of space. The house is located in a very calm place, so we had a good sleep! All in all it was perfect and we would love to come again."

Clean and comfortable with a delightful host.

We enjoyed the full use of the apartment with onsite parking. Once you get the hang of driving in small Sicilian towns, it becomes east to get around. Balestrate has a beautiful beachfront and many lovely restaurants. Our hostess was helpful and friendly. Mille grazie, Rosalia!

Nice Apartment with pool and seaview

Good to discover the surroundings (Trapani, Zingaro, Segesta...). Very clean and everything you need in the appartment. The host super friendly. Place to park your car inside the property, pool, washing machine...

Im Herbst noch einmal angenehm warm

Sehr nette Gastgeber mit tollem Abhol- und Bringservice zum Flughafen; Balestrate ist ein netter, kleiner Ort mit einem schönen Badestrand. Sehr saubere Unterkunft, landestypisch eingerichtet. Wunderbarer Swimming pool.

Contentissima della scelta che ho fatto, casa uguale alle foto, con tutti i confort che servono ad una famiglia. Piscina stupenda, che nelle ore più calde della giornata è un toccasana. La signora Rosalia gentilissima e cortese. Ritorneremo sicuramente. Lo consiglio a chi vuol passare qualche giorno in tranquillità ma comunque vicini al mare Ci ritornerò sicuramente

Alles prima, super Aufenthalt

Ci siamo trovati molto bene nella casa di Rosalia. Si sente una gran ospitaliá. Quando c'è bisogno Rosalia aiuta in ogni situazione. Da Balestrate si puo fare tante belle gite e Rosalia necessariamente da tanti bei consigli. Ci siamo trovati molto bene nel apartamento e molto bene con Rosalia e la sua famiglia. L' apartamento é ben atrezzato, ben organizzato e grande. Il terazzo é molto bello e ottimo per la sera. Anche il pool a fiancho del palazzo é molto bello. Grazie per il bellisimo tempo che potevamo stare nel apartamento.

Superbe !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Rosalia. A notre arrivée nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par Rosalia. Elle nous a informés des lieux à visiter, restaurants, activités. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une hôte qui parle très bien Français et qui était disponible. L'appartement était très propre, bien équipé. Belle piscine. La voiture était garée dans la cour fermée. Une superbe terrasse sur le toit avec une vue à 360 degrés. Nous avons pu admirer de superbes levés et couchés de soleil. Nous pouvons que recommander l'appartement de Rosalia.

Saubere Unterkunft aber nichts für Familien mit kleinen Kindern

Wir sind als Familie mit unter anderem einem Kleinkind und einem Baby angereist. Die Vermieterin Rosalia hat am Anfang einen freundlichen Eindruck gemacht.Die Unterkunft und der Pool waren Sauber und gepflegt. Die Küchenausstattung war ausreichend für die schnelle Urlaubsküche. Zu Beginn unseres Aufenthaltes Anfang Mai war es leider sehr regnerisch und der Wind kühl wodurch unser Kind sich eine Ohrenentzündung eingeholt hat und deswegen in der Nacht geweint hatte. Daraufhin wurde ich um Mitternacht von der Gastgeberfamilie, die im selben Haus wohnt, angerufen und mir wurde gesagt dass es nicht normal ist dass mein Kind weint. Ab dann war die Freundlichkeit leider verschwunden und Rosalia hat sich immer wieder über die Kinder aufgeregt. An einem sehr regnerischen Tag an dem wir nicht raus konnten und wir die Kinder drin Beschäftigt haben war ihr auch ständig alles zu laut. Wir haben uns ab da nicht mehr wohlgefühlt und würden diese Unterkunft, in der man so wenig Empathie gegenüber Kindern hat nicht nochmal buchen. Deswegen für Familien nicht geeignet

Sehr nette Gastgeber

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und entspannten Aufenthalt in Balestrate bei Familie Pagano einschließlich dem Haushund Dusty. Da wir selber auch mit Hund angereist waren, war es entzückend zu sehen wie gut sie sich verstanden haben. Wir haben uns in der großzügigen Ferienwohnung mit riesiger Terrasse sehr wohl gefühlt , konnten leider den Pool nicht nutzen weil es noch zu frisch war. Vielen Dank Frau Pagano für die schönen Tage in ihrem ansprechenden Ferienhaus.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Die Lage ist perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für viele Unternehmen. Rosalia und Ihre Familie sind sehr nett und hilfbereit. Da Rosalias Tochter Deutsch spricht, konnten viele Themen unkompliziert geklärt werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr erholsam

Es war alles in allem eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung ruhig, sauber und vorallem ehrliche Fotos, so das es keine Überraschungen vor Ort gab. Gefreut habe ich mich sehr über das Angebot von Rosalia mir den Ort zu zeigen. Dies war für den weiteren Aufenthalt sehr hilfreich. Besonders zum Frühstück und Abends habe ich die Dachterrasse genossen. Und obwohl es bereits Ende Oktober war konnte man noch gut in dem Pool schwimmen. Mein herzlichen Dank an die Vermieter.

Erstes Mal Sizilien

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von unserer Gastgeberin Rosalia empfangen! Sie zeigte uns das Dorf und gab uns gute Tipps für Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten . Man fühlt sich wohl in diesem Haus, alle sind sehr hilfsbereit! man kann von hier aus tolle Ausflüge in der Umgebung unternehmen.

The place is clean BUT, all the necessities that you needed is not provided, no soap, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, paper towel etc. Pool is close at 8pm, what the heck your on vacation and after a long day outside you want to relax on the pool but it is close. And one more thing no air conditioning, you have to pay 5euro/day. All of these should have provided with no extra cost.

Séjour parfait

Nous avons très bien été accueilli par Rosalia qui parle parfaitement bien le français. A 10 min à pied du centre et pas beaucoup plus de la mer. La piscine partagée avec deux autres familles est d'une taille très convenable. L'appartement est très agréable, un petit plus serait d'avoir un micro-ondes dans l'appartement. En résumé nous avons passé une très bonne semaine 🙂

Not recommended - short term stay

The property is located in a very good place. You need a car to enjoy it properly. The house rules are very strict. For example, the pool hours are very restricted at the point that the time to enjoy it is very limited. The property has very basic stuff you need to buy everything from hand soap, dish soap, garbage bags, paper towel, etc. The property does not have some basic appliances such as coffee maker, microwave, etc. We asked the property owner for more hand soap (it was provided a very small amount of a mixture of water and soap that lasted twice), salt and dish soap. We received an explanation that we needed to buy everything but salt and another roll of toilet paper was provided. We had to ask the property owner to control her voice tone during our conversation (she explained that it was a cultural approach to conversations). We don’t recommend the property since it does not meet our regular standards. We believe you will enjoy it for a long term stay probably if you are properly prepared and equipped. We think and recommended the owner to be very clear and explicit on her post about the conditions so that you can take an informed decision.

Superbe semaine du côté nord ouest Sicilien

Super accueil de Rosalia qui parle français. Après la présentation de l'appartement elle nous a accompagné pour faire le tour de Balestrate petite station balnéaire. Nous avons passé 6 jours entre mer piscine visites. Palerme à 2 pas, réserves naturelles, vallée des temples... La piscine même si partagée on y a toujours été seul ( un peu tôt la fermeture à 20h). Barbecue sur la terrasse panoramique.Une belle découverte ensoleillée entre mer et montagne.

Acceptable pour visiter la région

Propriétaire gentille et très disponible, habitant sur place au RdC. Stationnement sur place bien sécurisé, la voiture étant nécessaire pour aller à la plage ou faire des courses. Un peu déçus car la terrasse décrite dans l'annonce ne se trouve pas au niveau de l'appartement, mais une toiture-terrasse, un étage au dessus, accessible via les parties communes, nous n'avons donc pas pu en profiter. Il serait bon de le préciser, car avoir une terrasse pour prendre ses repas est toujours un point important pour nos choix de location. Matelas de la chambre principale confortable. Bruits de la route tôt le matin. L'appartement est un peu juste pour 5 personnes (avec de grands enfants). Il mériterait un rafraîchissement (mobilier -canapé-lit en particulier- et équipement) et un minimum de produits à disposition (sel, huile, liquide vaisselle, sac poubelle,...). Petite précision concernant la piscine, le bonnet est exigé pour les femmes. Bien situé pour visiter l'ouest de la Sicile, de belles plages sont rapidement accessibles en voiture. La propriétaire a eu l'attention de nous accompagner pour un tour de Balestrate et quelques conseils.
