A great Killington ski weekend. The house was very comfortable for 11 people with a mix of age ranges: children, teens and adults. Beds were great, kitchen immaculate and stocked. Noce big table for meals

Perfect ski home for a large family!!
Beautiful well appointed Vermont ski home. Modern quality amenities, thoughtfully laid out and every corner is decorated with fun Vermont ski vibe. Lots of great storage for ski gear, food pantry, boot trays, stocked with wood for the cozy fireplace. The kids loved the Wii, darts and we all played board games every night! Loads of fresh bath towels, and the kitchen has everything you would need! Great location just 20 minutes to Killington Resort. Easy and positive communication with the owner who recommended some fun places to eat! We loved our stay!

Family Wedding
Our stay was awesome- Comments below . This home is much nicer on the inside than it appears from the road. . Clean and well appointed though out . Main negative is we got there @ 3:50 with an arrival time of 4:00. We needed to drive back to a main road with cell signal to let the owner know we couldn’t get in-I thought I didn’t know how to use the lock system but it turns out the system couldn’t be used until 4. I would definitely rent this property again but be sure you have it in your GPS and for less tech savvy a print out of your map as there is really poor Verizon service until you log into the home’s IT systems which worked really well. .I had 2 commutations with the owner once we arrived- both were answered promptly

Annual family gathering
This property exceeded expectations! Our family, siblings and cousins, 10 Adults and 1 child, in total, vacation together every October and wanted somewhere unique this year. Peter was responsive from the very start, checked in with us during the stay and followed up after. The check in process was simple with instructions and code text to you 48 hours prior. House-you may or may not have cell service. Some family members did and some did not even when connected to WIFI. This was not a problem for us since we were together and at least one person did have service in event of emergency. Caution-the general store and market at the bottom of the hill close early (compared to what we are used to) 4-5pm when we were there. The house is very well supplied with spices, pots/pans, plates, coffee pot, toaster, silverware, etc. Bathrooms have hand soaps and plenty of towels!!! Our great nephew enjoyed a bubble bath in the master bath. Bedrooms have extra blankets. Family enjoyed the game room in the basement. Some could watch a movie while others played darts. One reason we selected this location was the fire pit in the back yard as we enjoy being outside, unplugged, talking and laughing around the fire. When the weather was damp we utilized the fireplace in the living room. Recommend-Wild Fern for pizza and homemade baked goods! If you are looking for a great place with space, options for all ages and someplace to make memories this is the property for you! We would definitely return :) Peter, thanks for everything!

The house is great! Peter is a delight to work with. Unfortunately, this year, during our stay, mud season came early, making the unpaved road , to & from the house, treacherous.

Great Stay for 3 Families!
We had a wonderful stay over Labor Day. Our party of 12 (3 families of 4) was very comfortable and never felt crowded or cramped. The kids (aged 4-9) played downstairs most of the time while the adults enjoyed the comfortable space upstairs. Everything was very clean, but the house is starting to show it’s age a little…dings on the walls, hall bathroom fan didn’t work…minor things that didn’t affect our stay. The kitchen is fully stocked and we easily cooked full meals. We would have loved to have plastic/shatterproof cups for the kids. An extra set of silverware would have been nice too-we ran out after every meal. Good thing there’s a dishwasher! The General Store down the road was great, we went there every day for coffee, lunch, snacks, etc. Everything was an easy drive- Killington adventure park and scenic gondola, paddleboarding on Kent Pond, hiking Thundering Brook Falls. We can’t wait to come back again!

We Will Be Back!!!
One of the best homes we've stayed in when visiting Vermont. The owners where great host and very easy to communicate with throughout the trip. We had about 2 feet of snow hit us on the weekend knocking out power to the town for a few hours. But everything turned out great we started a fire in the fireplace and had a great time! The drive up to the house is very steep so make sure you have chains or really good tires built for snow. Not the All Season factory tires. The house was perfect! Its too bad we didnt book a longer stay. We will for sure stay again.

August getaway
The house was very clean and well equipped for a family getaway. The layout was ideal for two families, although an additional bathroom would have been ideal (there are 2 but one in en suite in the Master bedroom so not easily accessible to all). The game room was great and there was plenty to do. We had a fire in the firepit and enjoyed cooking on the charcoal grill. The only downside to the outdoors was that there were a lot of bees around the deck (could not locate a beehive but seems there must be one nearby). Very happy with our stay here and would come again. One final note for future guests is to be sure to prepare for your arrival prior to getting there (there is no cell service by the house making the access to email information impossible -- we had to drive to the bottom of the hill twice to get the emailed info for check in -- our fault for not doing in advance !)...

Great weekend getaway!!
My family was looking for somewhere in the woods where we could get away from the city, have a nice campfire, hangout during the day and not have to worry about being right on top of neighbors. This house was perfect for what we were looking for. The house was spacious to fit a lot of people and was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay at this house and getting to see Vermont.

Comfortable clean house
Clean, comfortable, modern house with all the essentials. Nice space for kids to play downstairs and to stay out of adults way. It is not far from Killington/Pico, however since part of the commute is dirt road, it slows things down. Time your travels if you are going to ski school or are a first lift kind of skier.

Great house, neat and clean, well stocked
It was our 8th reunion, first stay at this house. House was everything the ad said. House was in supper condition, very well kept and stocked. Plenty of room for the 12 of us, both sleeping and eating. We are in the process of looking for next years date so we can book again. Would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place near killington. Just be careful of the road if it snows, can be a little slick, but not Peters fault he doesn''t own the road!!!! Looking forward to next yeat. Dana Morey

Wonderful, spacious, well equipped house
We had a wonderful stay the last week of December 2017. The house looks unassuming when you drive up until you walk in and experience two full levels of living space. It was very spacious and very clean. It still had a new house smell and we enjoyed the new appliances, furniture, bedding and super comfy mattresses. The owners were very helpful and we had no issues with check-in or check-out. The location was perfect for skiing at Killington and Pico, which we tried to do but due to freezing weather we spent lots of time in front of the fire place and in the rec room, as well as cooking home cooked meals.

We are both born & raised on Long Island in NY. We have a large family and are avid skiers. Our family has been coming to Killington for over 40 years and we feel that this area has so much to offer everybody.

Why they chose this property

This property has been in our family for 40 years and we want to share everything we love about the property and the area with others. We have been skiing at Killington our whole life and we know that you will love it as much as we do. The location of the house to a multitude of outdoor activities is what brought my dad and our family here so long ago.
