An unforgettable holiday in the heart of the "Pearl of the Ionian Sea"!
The residency "Stelle sul Corso" overlooks, with its beautiful balconies, to the main street of Gallipoli with a magnificent view of the marina, where it is possible admire beautiful sunsets. Shopping is right next door. You can walk to the charming old town, set on a small island connected to the mainland with bridge.
The Residency "Stelle sul Corso" is located on the first floor of a building of the middle of the 19th century, recently restored.
The restoration that has just been completed, have kept the architectural style of the old times. You can still admire the original ceilings of the 19th century made of “Carparo” and “Pietra Leccese” (typical Salento stones) named “Volte a Stella”, that gives an atmosphere of old times.
The structure has one bedroom with safe, a dining room with sofa bed, a kitchen and a bathroom.
Ideal for couples and families, up to 6 persons.
Everything is there, in a beautiful residence!

It has to be refurbished

The place needs a complete renewal, it is old and dusty. It doesn't create the feeling of coziness. The bathroom is not ok, the plaster falls out of the wall above the mirror and small pieces of the plaster are landing on the shelf under the mirror, affecting the cosmetics placed there. The shower cabin needs to be replaced, it is not nice at all. The air conditioning in the bedroom pour some water drops on the bed (it is placed above the bed) and after some hours of functioning is not giving back any cool air but rather warm air. There was no cleaning at all during one week stay, no bedsheets replaced, the towels we have received were old (almost rags). I was rather disappointed with the place, I am sorry to say this.

Traumhafter Winterurlaub

Wir (2Erw. 3 Kinder 11, 9, 8) waren zum Jahreswechsel 22/23 in Gallipoli, zentrale Lage. Wir haben die Küche nur zum Kaffee kochen benutzt. Aus der Haustür raus, mitten im geschehen! 10 min zur wunderschönen Altstadt, leider war im Winter einiges zu. Gute Lage, vieles in der Nähe zu entdecken, Santa Maria de Leuca, der südlichste Punkt, Lecce, Otranto .... War sehr schön das südliche Apulien zu entdecken!

Wonderful property in central location

Property is close to station, shops and restaurants. Fabrizio met us for the check in and allowed us to check out at midday which was very convenient. The only reason we gave an overall rating of 4 stars was because of the lack of WiFi and a dishwasher. We did know in advance though that this was the case.

La casa è stata molto confortevole e quanto descritto corrisponde alla realtà e le ns aspettative sono state soddisfatte, la vista sul mare e sul corso Roma, una vera delizia ...poi la posizione centrale ci ha consentito di fare belle passeggiate senza l'utilizzo della macchina
