24 MM. 4br 4bath We are located in the exclusive "Estates" development by Margaritaville on Tan Tar A Resort. We are in the coveted first cove of The Estates, and are the first house around the bend and closest to the Margaritaville. You can choose to walk up the hill or take a short drive to the main resort. Our lakefront location offers stunning views of the lake to the right and to the left the world renown championship golf course "7th hole". There is a built-in bar, and BBQ grill and plenty of seating to enjoy your morning coffee, a large BBQ event, or just fishing and gathering at the deck and dock areas. The Exterior is perfect for entertaining and enjoying lake life as it is meant to be. Lakefront views with fireplace in living room. 24 MM Dock that easily accommodates pontoons; boat rental available at resort. Perfect for large group or multi-generational stays.

Fully stocked kitchen, Coffee bar, Sleeps up to 16 people - Main floor (King bedroom; Separate Queen bedroom and two bathrooms) - Upstairs (Two large suits with two queen beds each; private baths & kitchenette shared deck between suites Additional bedding and mattresses available for kids or large groups. 12 people in beds; 16 with air mattresses. Parking for five cars, or can accommodate boat trailer and fewer cars. Wireless internet; 5 smart TVs. Variety of games, movies and a library of books available for use during your stay. As a guest in the Estates you will have access to the two private pools located in the Estates area during the open season, you will get an access code upon check-in. You might also choose to use some of the Margaritaville resort amenities such as the swim beach, Swim up bar, outdoor pools, Miniature Golf, Bowling Alley, Billiards Club, 5 restaurants, 3 bars, Horseback Riding, Dinner Cruises and Indoor water park. Margaritaville does charge to use their amenities if available. The resort manages all operating times and fees so you will have to contact them directly for up to date information. We are on the 24 Mile Marker. By boat we are minutes from the Paradise Bar and Dog Days. By car we are within 5 miles of Red Head Yacht Club, Shorty Pants, Dog Days, Backwater Jacks, Michael's Lakefront Chateau, Jeffry's Prime Rib & Lobster, Wobbly Boots, and Tirebiters. We think you will agree with our past guests that this is one of the best homes to stay at in Tan Tar A.

Family Vacation

Our entire stay from start to finish was amazing. The house was perfect, and the only hiccup was internet/tv service upon checkin, we couldn’t get anything to work. So I reached out and we actually found out it was an outage for the area. It was resolved by the next morning. Communication was immediate and very accommodating. We loved our stay and all the amenities margaritaville offered a short drive around the corner. Lots of space for some good family time. Would definitely book again!

Family vacation

This was an amazing place to stay. We had 6 adults and 6 children so was perfect for all ages. The kids caught lots of fish off the deck and enjoyed swimming and paddle boarding there as well. As the for the house it was very nice and accommodating. The only thing I would change is in the master suite. The closet was locked so no place to hang clothes and there was not a dresser to put our clothes in so we had to live out of our suitcase. This was something small when you had all of the other amenities. I would definitely recommend this place for a family gathering.

You can't use any of the amenities listed

The master bedroom is not really a master bedroom. It has no connecting bathroom. Also, there is no dresser, nor a closet, so you have to live out of your suitcase and there is nowhere to hang any clothes. We chose this place over other because it was within walking distance to all of the amenities of the Margaritaville resort which was heavily advertised in the listing. What they don't tell you is that you can't use most of them. You can't use the gym. You can't play pickleball. We were turned away from all of the activities we thought we were going to be able to enjoy because they were for hotel guests only. Had we known, we would have rented a house that had kayaks and paddleboards, etc. The house is very nice though, but it's very odd that there is no furniture in the master besides a bed and a chair and no closet. The decks off the house were very nice. Communication with the owner was easy. The key code that is given to you is not the same as what is posted on the refrigerator, so be careful to use what is given to you beforehand, not what you see posted in the house; otherwise you risk locking yourself out of the house for a while if you punch in that code too many times.

Can’t Recommend Enough!

We chose this place for my bachelorette party last weekend and we can’t rave enough about this place! It was so incredibly clean and had everything we needed…except a plunger which our host was EXTREMELY quick to answer and took care of it right away! The location is perfect and it was very quiet! Would definitely book with them again!

Large Famiky weekend

Great to have a dock for people to fish off of. Unable to use the dock for our large pontoon due to difficulty getting to the dock with it, but there are public marinas close that I utilized. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out but also great places to all be together in the large living room and on the multiple large decks.

Grandmas Birthday

Our Family came to spend a long weekend for Grandma’s birthday. We had 3 families staying and this was a great place for us. We had children with us from 6 to 1 and they had lots of room to run around and play. It was cold so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside area but would love to come back when it’s warm. We did have problems when trying to reach out about an early check in where we did not get a response at all back. We were glad nothing else happened major that we need to reach out to anyone. Over all we had a great time.

Friends’ Weekend

Eight of us get together annually for a weekend. This house was the perfect space for us. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and living space for us to stretch out, relax and enjoy each other’s company. The pool nearby is nice with a great view of the lake. The resort being nearby is very convenient. We had a great time. The owner was very responsive to any questions or issues we encountered. This was greatly appreciated.

Great space, but needs some TLC

We had a wonderful girls weekend staying at the lake! The house had a lot of space and plenty of beds. The dock is also spacious and great to hang out on! However, the house was not as clean as we would’ve appreciated. The downstairs shower curtain had lots of gunk on it, and should’ve been easily replaced. A bit of Drain-O is needed in the upstairs bathroom in the “Mojito” room shower. Floors were noticeably dirty. The check out procedures were more extensive than marketed, which after a great long weekend in the sun, really puts a damper on the end of the trip (especially considering that a cleaning fee is included in the rental price). Overall, a home with lots of potential that could use a good cleaning to make it a truly enjoyable experience!

Very enjoyable

The location was both a plus and a negative in terms of lake access. Great privacy for floating, not so good for boat rentals. The internet service was intermittent and a problem from time to time. Overall a good place to spend a few days with family.

We have stayed in private homes, condos and other resorts and knew after several stays at Tan-Tar-A that this was the perfect place for our family to build lifetime memories. There was always something for everyone to do, no matter what their interests and the beauty of the resort and lake location is unmatched. We searched long and hard to find a lakefront property that could accommodate our large family often 16 plus people when we all got together. When we found this home we knew it was it, the lake location, 4 private decks offering views from all four sides, and the large living room and kitchen areas are perfect for entertaining. The large bedrooms provided all of the sleeping space that we needed.

If you are staying at Tan-Tar-A then you will agree our home has the best location, it is the closest private home in the estates that is both lakefront and located within walking distance to all the amenities of the main Tan-Tar-A resort. The views from every deck of the lake and world class golf course are unmatched. The great part about our home is you can enjoy the quiet and beauty of the lake from the private dock in a secluded cove off the main channel or you can access the community pools and other amenities that you would find at a 5-star vacation resort. You choose what type of experience you want to have.
