Excellent luxurious villa with amazing pool, garden and views

The villa was amazing. The best heated infinity pool ever seen. A lot of space, very well kept garden, extra respect for that! Fantastic views, enjoyable in the daytime and at night! Missing it already!

It was a gorgeous villa in a picturesque location

We stayed for a week in this gorgeous villa & it exceeded our expectations. There were 6 of us from Australia (4 adults & 2 children). We each had our own double bedroom & ensuite bathroom. The house was spacious & well equipped. The outdoor area was superb with a beautiful garden & infinity pool. It was great having a supermarket close by with everything that you needed. We did some day trips to Cannes, Monaco, Antibes & Vence but the local villages were also delightful & it was always a treat to get back to the house & relax/cook dinner. Michel kept in good communication & answered all our queries promptly even though we don't speak French. He arranged for someone to meet us at the house on arrival to give us the key & show us around. It was a great stay.

Rude owner, would not stay again.

We are a family that travels quite a bit. We have rented via VRBO before but only in the US and never had an issue before, hence were unaware how difficult it is to contact VRBO when an issue arises. We arrived to the house late which we had discussed w the owner and he agreed it would be fine (previous review had noted he was difficult bc of late arrival so we made sure to clear that hurdle up front). We could not get the wifi to work for the first 24 hours (the wrong code was provided) and the owner basically called us stupid. There was no hot water for the first 36 hours (traveling w 3 children and 85 degrees outside) and when we asked about it he first angrily said the reason for no hot water was because we already used 250 liters! Then he replied "I don't speak english..." verbatim. When we insisted he help us, he sent us photos of where the switch to turn in the water is, and when we discovered the outlets a piece of tape was trying to hold up the switch, indicating this was a recurrent issue. Later in the week he came by w a plumber and took the opportunity to threaten us w extra charges if we didn't take the trash out (it was not explained to us by the greeting person how this works). The house itself is dated. Ac in 2 of 3 bedrooms as advertised, but the third room is not cool, you need ac even in June to sleep comfortably. 2 of 3 beds are full size, the third not quite a queen. The outside area was very nice as other commenters ave noted. Owner very rude.

Exactly as beautiful as advertised

Everything went as planned, and as promised; the place was stunning with a splendid view. House as well equipped as home. It was all truly perfect. Will definitely come back. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Fantastisk pool i välutrustat hus med mycket hög standard - men en miss

Bodde en vecka i juli med 3 vuxna barn (16-24). Infinitypoolen och utsikten är fantastisk. Huset är rent och välskött. Stor smart TV med många kanaler. Köket innehåller det mesta och två platser ute att äta lunch eller middag. Ett par kilometer med bil till närmaste mataffär. En stor stormarknad ligger ca 20 min bort med bil. En sak att vara uppmärksam på att bara två av tre sovrum har tillgång till luftkonditionering. Eftersom det var mycket varmt när vi var där så var det ett stort minus. Det framgick inte av annonsen. Kan man leva med det dock då är huset fantastiskt.

Un accueil complètement inadapté du propriétaire qui n'a eu de cesse de nous reprocher une arrivée tardive même si nous avions prévenu l'interlocuteur sur place ("le chassé croisé devait être anticipé par nos soins et nous devions être absolument à 16h pour le check in - à part une téléportation la circulation et les bouchons sont indépendants de notre volonté). La 7ème personne avait été acceptée lors de la réservation mais un lit d'appoint de piètre qualité n'est pas en adéquation avec le tarif de la location. Pour le reste, cette location est très bien située avec une piscine de grande qualité.

A wonderful week in a wonderful villa!

We spent a fantastic week in this wonderful villa. The villa is perfectly situated with exceptional views (especially in the evenings). The interior of the villa is lovely, especially downstairs with interesting art on every wall. The kitchen is well equipped but it is the outdoor space where this villa really comes in to it's own. The garden is beautiful and so well thought out. It is a colourful yet tranquil space with plenty of seating and outdoor eating options. The pool is one of the nicest we have experienced both in terms of temperature and situation. Nice is only a 20 minute car ride away and Monte Carlo and St. Paul de Vence within 40 minutes. The owner, Michel, could not have been more helpful and accommodating from arranging some food to be there on our rather late arrival to doing our check out at 5am!

High quality, well equipped villa, tranquil locale

We rented the villa 27 August to 5th Sept. The standard of the property exceeded the description, the layout was accurately described though the distance from the airport is farther than given because of the nature of the roads. Own transport is essential as the quoted taxi fare from Nice was €40-60. The property was clean, well maintained, spacious. There is plenty choice for communal and individual seating. The Owner kept good communications prior to our stay though there was some language issues and it is worth noting that key collection and arrival/departure arrangements would have been difficult without the fluent French of two in our party. A high standard and peaceful villa, we visited, Nice, Monaco, Cannes but never lingered long as the draw back to the villa was so strong.
