Great location, bad smell and response
We have stayed many times in various rooms with the management company in the lodge. I had some concerns about the over easy gondola being outside but the noise wasn’t too bad. Where the problem occurred was with the dishwasher being broken, and smelling like mold and mildew for most of the trip. When it was opened it also appeared very dirty inside. We reported the smell and excessive heat in the unit to the property management via the text channel provided that afternoon where it was reported we would receive a reply within a few hours. We didn’t hear back until the later that evening and when we did it was only inquiring about the heat. I again detailed my concerns at that time and received no reply. When i received the checkout text the following morning i again followed up and was told the team would review it in their Monday meeting and get back in touch with me after. I received a call back on the following Thursday instead, offering me a 200 refund on a stay that cost me 1500. I requested more considering we had to leave the door open all day to alleviate the smell so we could just sleep in there, and were unable to spend much time in the room itself otherwise. We were only offered an additional 75 refund. Beware of a possible mold infestation in this room as my daughters throat hurt upon waking up on the 2nd day.
