High speed internet allows our guests to make those Zoom calls with the subtle sounds of waves crashing in the background. Our 2 story home sleeps up to 10 with 3 bedrooms and a convertible sleeper sofa. We offer a fully equipped kitchen, 2 updated flat screen entertainment areas, ping pong, foosball, and all the necessary accessories for creating memories in the sand. The dining area comfortably seats eight for you to enjoy that perfect family dinner with uninhibited views of the beautiful Pacific ocean across the street. The large living area is perfect for watching your favorite sports event or a relaxing family movie night together. The downstairs living area consists of the third bedroom with bunk beds, full second bathroom, and the secondary television entertainment area, including streaming abilities and an Xbox 360 with assorted games. The downstairs is perfect for entertaining the kids while the adults get more peace of mind upstairs. We look forward to sharing our home with your family and friends.

Great house!

This is our second time staying in this house, and we had a great time! This kids took over the downstairs and had a blast. Great beach access. Right in town if you want to walk to the shops or the train station. Great communication with owner. Highly recommend!

This place was right off the beach, had arcade, foosball and pingpong table. Plenty of board games and puzzle to choose from. Absolutely set up for a perfect stay at the beach.

Great location!

I loved that we were right across from the path to the beach and could see and hear the ocean from the deck. The house had all the amenities we needed and was comfortable and clean. I’ll definitely book here again!

Family vacation

Great place for our large family. Very family friendly with great resources provided. Especially appreciated the kid friendly dishes and cups for our little kids. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Family time in the sand!

We had a wonderful stay at the house with much needed family time. The ocean toys available for use were a great addition to our activities. We're already contemplating our next adventure here!

Great house in a great location!

We have stayed in this house many times over many years and have always found it to be a great place to stay. Some of the furnishings are getting a little tired and it could stand a really good deep cleaning, but overall a great house. We will definitely rent here again!

Great location in Rockaway

Perfect size house, well equipped, and has quick and easy beach access. We really enjoyed our stay. As other reviewers have mentioned the spiral staircase can be challenging for some individuals, but it's not much of an issue since you can always take the outside stairs down to the lower level.

Great spot

The house was as advertised, just steps from the beach and an easy walk to shops. The beds were comfortable. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The was good beach gear. The kids particularly enjoyed the board games, toys and Xbox.

Great location and nice size for family

We had a great stay! The location to the beach and the little showers fantastic. There were lots of games and entertainment to choose from-I didn’t have to worry about my kids getting bored! The space was wonderful (there were 6 of us) and while there are a few things that are run down (the downstairs faucet handle came off when trying to use it, for example), we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The deck is wonderful, the big table is great for family meals, and we really appreciated the kids dishes available!! Would definitely stay here again.

Easy check in. Plenty of room for four adults plus toddler. Clean comfortable beds, kitchen well appointed. Plenty a bath linen. More than enough entertainment and games. Close to town and beach. It was like a home away from home.

Great family house

We rented this house for our yearly Super Bowl trip. It was perfect for our family of 7. The kids LOVED the game room, video games, ping pong and foosball. There was everything you would need for a beach trip. The owner was quick to respond to our questions. Beach is super,close.....we will return.

Great Family Home

This property is well-setup for large families like ours! Lots of activities provided for your beach visit--whether good or bad weather days. The basement is a little musty, but most of our kids weren't bothered by it. A dehumidifier might be useful... either way, it may be useful for some families to be aware of it.

Family reunion weekend

We had a big family reunion weekend in Rockaway and my brothers and their families stayed at this house with me and my husband. The location was perfect and an easy walking distance to the main family reunion house. The kitchen is well-stocked as are the games and other entertainment options. Check-in and clean up was easy. The only thing I would suggest is providing a key for the downstairs so walking down the tiny windy stairs isn’t always required. We would 100% stay here again.

Wonderful getaway

We had a group of 8 adults and one baby for the first weekend and there was ample room for us all. We found everything we needed, it was the little things like a fan in each bedroom closet, that made the stay excellent! The ping ping and foosball table got a workout that first weekend. The rest if the week was just 3 adults and we relaxed, walked the beach, made dinners, went fishing and had a much needed vacation. I would like to recommend the Old Growth trail walk in Rockaway, its barely a mile from this house and was amazing! We will definitely be returning to this rental in the future!!

Perfect weekend!

We stayed the weekend with friends and my parents (6 adults, 2 babies). The house had everything we needed and was so close to the beach. The spiral stairs were a little difficult to use, but we managed. The couch had some sand and dog hair on part of it that must have gotten missed when cleaned because otherwise the house was very well cleaned. Overall we had a great weekend and we will be back!

Clean, comfy, and steps from the beach!

Great house just steps from the beach! Large sectional couch, huge dining table, and large deck provided plenty of room for our group of 7. Beds were comfy and kitchen was well-stocked. Ping pong and foosball tables in the garage were a hit with the kids. The garage also had about everything else you could need: chairs, boogie boards, clam guns, etc. Bonus points for some of the cleanest looking carpet I've seen in a pet-friendly house! As others have mentioned, it's not a house for those with mobility issues or very young children due to the steep, narrow circular stairs, but they weren't an issue for us. Honestly, my only complaint was that most of the dishes in the cupboards weren't very clean. Otherwise, everything was clean and comfy and just right for our family. We really enjoyed our visit!

Comfy house, amazing location!

We had such an awesome, relaxing time here! It was myself, my parents, my partner and my teenage son. We all had plenty of room and were very comfortable here. The house has anything and everything you might want or need during your stay. It was very clean and smelled soooo good when we arrived. Everything was in decent condition. I was very pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews. Whoever said it's "a few steps up from a college crash pad" is kind of ridiculous, imo. It's nothing like that! It's well appointed, everything works, it's comfortable, it looks nice. There's nothing there that's even close to being like that. It's an older house, as are the vast majority of the ones in that area, but it's not offensive or gross in any way. There are a few minor things that could use updating, like the kitchen sink faucet and the toilet seat, but they're still perfectly functional. I did read the reviews about the stairs but it's hard to really get it until you're there. My son and I are each about 6' tall (me under, him over) and we're big people. I'm disabled from back issues and nerve damage. I was able to use the stairs inside but it was scary. Going up was easier because you can kind of climb with your hands. The main issue is that the steps are very small so feet don't fit well and there's a spot where you must duck to go under. That said, they're navigable and my son went up and down with no issues after getting used to them. I just mostly stayed upstairs.

Beach House

The carpet needs to be replaced, the stairs are too steep to get to the first floor and I didn’t even try to go downstairs as the stairs are even worse. I didn’t have the address until two days before I arrived and had no idea how I could access the property until the morning of my arrival. It really isn’t ocean view as you have only a sliver of a view. You are expected to take all the laundry downstairs which I couldn’t of done if I hadn’t had someone younger with me. You need to empty all the garbage and take the can to the road. I didn’t like using the App either as I thought it was difficult to communicate with the owner.
