Great location but disappointing

It took us some time to decide on where to stay near Bergerac. We chose this location because it looked good and suited our needs. We were very disappointed with the condition of the property. Photographs that went with the listing didn't represent what we found. We realise that we booked the accommodation towards the end of the season but the property felt tired and in need of remedial work. The lady who met us was charming, welcoming and very helpful on our arrival. She explained some issues and made us aware of a cleaning fee (of which we declined, preferring to clean the property ourselves) and a charge for extra electricity, both things that we were not aware of before booking. On the plus side the property is set in a beautiful and quiet rural location with easy access to the major town of Bergerac and countless beautiful, sleepy villages nearby.

Des vacances reposantes dans un très bel endroit. Des hôtes très accueillants et très à l’écoute. Les arcades sont très agréables avec des pièces spacieuses. Le patio est propice aux apéros, à la farniente et aux barbecues.

Détente assurée pour qui aime la nature, le calme, dans un habitat de style rustique très confortable où rien ne manque. De plus le soleil et la température extérieure étaient en rendez-vous. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, ce qui est très agréable.

Les espaces intérieurs et extérieurs sont très spacieux ! L endroit est propice à la détente. Et la 2ieme terrasse "patîo" est géniale ! Sans compter la balade à faire de l ensemble de la propriété avec plusieurs pépites.

Un peu décevant

Un peu déçue de voir que ce gîte est entouré d'autres gîtes à proximité et donc moins calme que je l'aurais souhaité . L'équipement est basique , sans plus . La table à l'extérieur mériterait d'être rénovée , l' étendoir à linge était cassé et les joints de la salle de bain étaient douteux . C'est vraiment dommage car la grange a beaucoup de classe , elle est vaste et bien agencée . La literie est très confortable , et l'environnement très agréable .

Propriété en pleine nature

Un peu déçu de la qualité du logement autant par le manque d’équipement , que par le manque d’attention du loueur. Le minimum de produits d’accueil n’y est pas : pensez à apporter , savon, sopalin, galets de lave vaisselle, sucre, sel…. Dommage….😌
