This is the place - your year round getaway! Experience northwest living at its best. Summer and fall for hiking, biking, golfing, swimming, and beaching; winter and spring for downhill or cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and winter beach storms. The beauty, solitude, and spectacular views make this house a very special place to visit.

The Guest House is centrally located to anywhere you want to go - Cape Flattery, Sol Duc Hot Springs (NOTE - HomeAway Google maps has the distance to Sol Duc wrong - it is really about an hour drive to get there from here), Hoh Rain Forest, Lake Crescent, Marymere Falls, Salt Creek State Park, Hurricane Ridge, Port Townsend - all just a short drive away from your vacation oasis. Also, the Olympic Discovery Adventure Trail is only a short walk from your back door!

If spending time on a beach is your preference, Crescent Beach (a great sandy beach) is just five minutes away. This beach is one of the premier surfing spots on the Peninsula, and also offers rock climbing and tide pools. So pack a lunch and off you go for a glorious experience!

Visit the Joyce General store for a step back in time, or if you prefer to go international, a short ferry ride will take you to Victoria, British Columbia. There are also great restaurants in the area. You can't ask for more than this! Perfect for anything you want to do.

If you love the Sequim Lavender Festival, it's only a 40 minute drive from here and you don't have to pay the inflated rates in Sequim. So come enjoy the festival, then return to a little piece of heaven and tranquility!

COMFORT! COMFORT! COMFORT! You will have it here, guaranteed - 800 square feet of it, all on one level. A beautiful, quiet location backed up to State Land, where you'll enjoy views of the shipping lanes of the Strait of Juan de Fuca (cruise ships, nuclear subs, etc.) all the way across to Sooke Harbor, British Columbia. And you won't believe the stars on a clear night sky!

Tranquility is the name of the Walkers' Guest House. Total relaxation is here. Although the Guest House is just across the way from the estate's main house, the owners jealously guard your privacy yet are available for questions, if needed. The large deck is equipped with spring steel rocking chairs for your pleasure, so after you've enjoyed the many recreational activities in the area, sit back, relax, enjoy the quiet and solitude, and being a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A place that gives you a new experience, but still feels like home. Now you know why we enjoy life here, and we LOVE sharing it with others!

Excellent stay!
This property was everything they say and then some! Likely one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. Kitchen was nicely supplied, important for cooking on-site. Quiet and beautiful location. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable and cozy
I visited Terri & Milo's place for a personal retreat, and it couldn't have been better. The location is great for walks, hiking, photography, whatever, and it is SO QUIET at night. Their view is great and there is an excellent, small walking path through old growth forest in their back yard. The only small downside is the proximity to the main house, but I was out most of the time and doing administrative things in the evenings so I didn't notice too much.Thank you for a great stay!

Comfy guest house nustled up a country road
We enjoyed this guesthouse. Everything was as expected. Kitchen has everything we needed for our meals. If you need a place without stairs, this does not have any stairs. You can peak out at the Strait from the front windows. We enjoyed the wood stove (duraflame-style logs only). Place was warm and clean. We did the Salt Creek Rec area, Lake Cresceny and the walk out the back door to the extensive OAT.

Wonderful cabin in the woods
Our stay was delightful in a cozy cabin in the woods. I have stayed at many vrbo stays and this cabin had the most supplies of any place I stayed at. Great location for hiking in the Olympic mountains to the strait to pacific ocean. I would stay here again.

great base station
my friend and I used this as a base for Lake Crescent, Sol Duc, and Hoh Rainforest (a little further!). Clean and spacious! Well equipped kitchen. Decent internet connection for location. other reviews mentioned sulfur smell, we only noticed this very mildly when first turning on a hot shower. The water is hard but it was still a good shower to us!

This home was our nightly retreat. Was perfect distance for joining our church group camping at Salt Creek Campground during the day. Clean and well stocked. Great communication.

it was roomy for 4 people, easy access. We're all over 50. beds were comfy, place was quiet. Peaceful view, twenty minutes from lake, beach, and town. Have a conversation with your transmission before booking its up hill for 10 minutes.

Quiet guest house in a central location
The guest house was tucked back away from roads so it was quiet and surrounded by woods. It was immaculately clean and had everything you would need for a stay where you are cooking for yourself. The location for us was great. We easily took day trips to Rialto Beach and into Olympic park. While still being close to Port Angeles if you have to run to the store. It’s a nice central location for exploring. The mattresses, linens, and pillows were very comfortable, which is the best after being out hiking all day. Need a hiking stick? They have a few by the door to help you out. You know hosts are thinking about your comfort when you find those little things waiting for you. Milo and Terri are also quick to respond and were great hosts. I would recommend this listing to anyone I know traveling to the area.

Great communication and location
We loved our 5-night stay. We spent 3 days in Olympic NP and took the ferry to Victoria for one day. The guest house was a great home base! The owners live next door, but we never saw them and felt our privacy was respected. They communicated well with us the whole time and were very responsive to any questions. We brought our dog, and took her to the park with us. Dogs are allowed in the park but not on many of the nice trails, so that was the only part of our trip that was disappointing. The weather was absolutely beautiful the first week of July! I definitely recommend this guest house!

The cabin itself is clean, spacious, well equipped and has a beautiful sunset view, BUT (and this should have absolutely been disclosed in advance) there is sulphur in the water supply and that made showering and cooking unpleasant.

Guest House Bliss
Guest house was absolutely wonderful! Spacious, well furnished, clean, extremely quiet, and the view of the Strait was unmatched. Easy access to all of northern Olympic National Park, including Hurricane Ridge area, and within minutes of Port Angeles. We hope if we can return we have the chance to stay at the Guest House again. 5 stars all around.

Wonderful experience
We came to stay for 2 nights in the middle of a 2 week road trip through the Pacific Northwest. We stayed in many places, nice places on this trip, but far and away the most beautiful and relaxing was Terri and Milo’s guest house outside of Joyce. They had everything you could want available for use and such a well-kept property! Our hosts were wonderful and we loved our stay. The icing on the cake occurred after we left and discovered my daughter had left her earbuds in her room. Terri and Milo took the time to package and send them to us and even Email us details, including the tracking number, to keep us abreast of their arrival. They arrived before we got home a few days ago. Wow, thank you!

Olympic National Park Adventure
The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. The guest house is close to their personal residence however they truly allowed us privacy. The rental was spotless, absolutely the cleanest property we have ever stayed. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals and beds and linens comfortable.The location requires an approximately 30 min drive to Hurricane Ridge and 1.5 hours to Rialto Beach. Salt Creek Recreation Area is about 10 minutes away and provided numerous tide pools with a plethora of sea life. Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed this property, accommodations, location to Olympic National Park and the ease/hospitality of the hosts.

Beautiful Place Near Olympic National Park
This was the most well-stocked vacation rental we've ever stayed in. If you forgot something...they had it there for you. It's a beautiful guest house in a very quiet, serene location. We used it as home base for a couple of days of exploring Olympic National Park. Beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean. Would stay here again!

Lived a dream
For about 4 days, it felt like living a dream. Nestled in nature with breath taking views, foggy mornings with chirping birds far away from the concrete chaos. The place was equipped with everything you would need to do all the nothing you ever want 😊

It was more than we expected.
We were so comfortable that we decided we did not want to eat out! the high ceilings with large windows let in a lot of light and we were able to enjoy a nest in the forest! The kitchen was super well stocked (something we have not witnessed and have to pack extra for. Even the knives were sharp! The fresh air, the stars visible at night and there is so much to do when you are in the area. We will definately be returning for more relaxation and adventures. Thankyou for your thoughtfulness and organization!!

My name is Radar. My owners think they own this property, but I pretty much call the shots! My owners are retired and live here on the property with me, but I make sure they don't bother you!

Update: January 6th 2021 at 10:00ish, Radar (15 1/2 years) quietly passed into doggie heaven after giving us 15 years of unconditional love and joy. Rest in peace, sweet little boy!

Why they chose this property

We chose to live here after searching five different states to retire to, and realized that this area was the one that always felt like we were coming home. Although the Guest House is on the same property with us, we jealously guard your privacy and try very hard not to disturb you. In fact, you may not see us at all unless we happen to step out at the same time and say howdy! We built the Guest House prior to building the main house, lived there for two plus years until the main house was completed, and it has since evolved into a vacation rental. We absolutely love sharing the beauty of the Peninsula with folks new to the area.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with this property and it's peaceful feeling long before we knew it had a wonderful view of the Straits with all the shipping activity. Once the view was revealed, oh what a bonus surprise!
