Our portugal apt is very much Loved and cared for .Its very bright modern and very clean situated on the 2nd floor of a private condominium Monte Anastacia Albardeira lagos western portugal
The apartment sleeps 4. Set in beautiful well kept mature gardens with swimming pool, tennis court with private parking .
All rooms have beautiful uninterrupted sea views,Free wifi ,private parking & 4 Private sun beds situated around the pool area so no early morning dash 😃
Take a 5 min stroll down a hill to Lagos de marina where you can sit at the cafe bars ,eating ,drinking or just watching he world go by or take a boat trips to the see the dolphins or grotto & caves .
It's a just 10 minute stroll to the beach of meia Praia a beautiful white long and wide ,plenty of room for everyone .
The apt is in a secure complex entered via remote electronic gates with own private parking . Stair up to other floors or you can use the lift.
The apartment has a sunny south facing terrace with beautiful views of beach & Lagos town.It also has a spacious lounge with Patio doors leading out on to the terrace with a table & 4 chairs for alfresco dining or just having a drink watching the sunset. The view is amazing .
In the lounge are 2 sofas (1 a bed settee ) You can access the terrace through the patio door in the lounge.
Tv ,video ,wifi in all rooms.coffee tables , console tables & soft finishing .
The kitchen also opens directly on to the terrace & is fully fitted with all modern appliances large fridge / freezer , microwave + sandwich maker + iron & ironing , board. Lots of wine glasses , cups , plates , pots pans everything you could possible need for your stay. I also provide tea towels.

The bedroom has a queen sized large bed, fitted wardrobes and bedside tables with lamps & Ceiling fan . With full length patio doors and Juliet balcony also looking out to sea and the gardens and pool area.All bedding provided . Duvet for winter stays.

The bathroom has a modem high gloss white floating sink with draws toilet, jacuzzi bath and shower . Tall high close floor standing cabinet one Bath and hand Towel per person supplied.


Beaches In Lagos:
In Lagos, there are several lovely beaches to visit. Meia Praia, a 4km sandy beach only a few minutes from the apartment, offers several water sport facilities, it is ideal for windsurfing and surfing. All along Meia Praia beach, there are many beach bars where visitors can enjoy evening meals or cocktails. Praia da Dona Ana, Praia do Camilo and Porto de Mós, are other popular beaches located 5 minutes drive from the apartment, also worth visiting.

Activities : Over the past years, the western Algarve has become an international destination for many golfers and holidaymakers. There is a wide selection of golf courses around Lagos. Palmares, an 18 0hole golf course is only 2 minutes drive from the apartment. Boavista and Parque da Floresta Golf courses are other alterno
atives only a few minutes drive. Water sport activities can be found in several beaches and boat trips from the Lagos Marina can be bought at good prices. Water Parks such as, Slide and Splash and Big One are only 30 minutes drive and are excellent for the children. Lagos Zoo is only 15 minutes drive inland and the Zoomarine, 35 minutes drive east, is definitively worth visiting. Trips to the water parks can be booked on marina for those who do not wish to drive.


Marina and Lagos Town : The marina is only a 5 minute stroll from the apartment were you can enjoy a cocktail have an evening meal, or take a boat trip. The town centre is only 5 minutes walk from the marina along a tree lined esplanade. The centre of Lagos has a very friendly atmosphere with its MANY fine restaurants, set on cobble streets, where visitors can enjoy a lovely meals or watch the world goes by. There are a great variety of shops which are nice to browse around. Lagos being a very historical town has lovely churches,squares and museums.

Wonderful apartment!
We had a great stay at this apartment. The apartment was lovely - well-stocked, comfortable and clean. The view is amazing and the pool area is really lovely with beautiful gardens that we found very relaxing - especially as it was never overly busy (we stayed end of August to early September). The private parking was also a bonus. I self-catered and the kitchen facilities were great with a very good quality oven and hob (the best I have had in Portugal). I can't fault anything and Gail was so helpful and responsive on the lead up to our holiday. As everything went so smoothly with checking in and the apartment in general, we didn't need to contact her for anything during our stay. I'm sure we will book again as the location and apartment were brilliant, very quiet but just a short walk into the bustle of Lagos so the best of both worlds! We very much recommend this fantastic apartment :)

Fantástica estancia
El apartamento es tal cual en las fotos, muy limpio y bien equipado. Está ubicado a unos 10 minutos andando de la Marina y a unos 15-20 del pueblo de Lagos. En coche se tardan 5 minutos. Hay supermercado cerca, plaza de parking y pocos vecinos por lo que la piscina no está masificada. Como única pega, poco espacio en los armarios ya que hay mantas y toallas pero es un detalle sin importancia que no enturbia en absoluto la buena experiencia que hemos tenido.

A fantastic apartment that has absolutely everything you could wish for and is like home from home. Fabulous trip to Portugal!!!
This was our first trip to Portugal and we had a fabulous holiday! Our host Gail made our experience wonderful! She responded quickly to any inquiry we had and helped us plan our trip by giving us great recommendations and suggestions for places to dine and visit. Our accommodations were wonderful with everything we needed to be comfortable. We were just off the beaten path, but still close to everything, which is exactly what we wanted. A very well maintained and comfortable apartment, within an easy stroll to the marina and old town but far enough away from the noise of restaurants and bars. The building, grounds and pool area are very well maintained Rooms are generous in size, impeccably clean, and have unobstructed south facing views of the Mediterranean. Ein Traum!
Die Wohnung war wirklich super schön, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Anlage an sich war sehr schön gemacht, auch der Pool war wunderbar. Der Blick vom Balkon auf das Meer war ein Traum! Auch der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war super einfach und nett. Alles in allem einfach super und keine negativen Punkte. Wir kommen gerne wieder! :)

Erholsame Auszeit in toller Ferienwohnung
Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung mit toller Ausstattung in einer ausserordentlich gepflegten kleinen Anlage mit schönem Gartenbereich und tollem Pool. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Direkt gegenüber der Anlage gibt es einen kleinen Minimarkt mit allem Wesentlichen, was man so braucht, vor allem sensationell leckeren frisch gebackenen Backwaren - fürs Frühstück auf dem Balkon mit Meerblick. Hafen, Stadt und Strand sind auch zu Füß erreichbar (15-20 Minuten). Da die Anlage etwas erhöht liegt, muß man jeweils einen Hügel hinab und hinauf was aber überhaupt kein Problem war. Insgesamt ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ebenso wie für einen ruhigen und erholsamen Urlaub. Oft hatten wir den Pool ganz für uns allein und konnten wunderbar erholsame Stunden auf der Gartenliege im Schatten lesend verbringen. Wer es sportlich mag, kann den Tennisplatz nutzen, der zur Anlage gehört, auch dieser war meistens frei. Neben dem Schlafzimmer mit breitem Bett für Zwei gibt es ein ausziehbares Sofa im Wohnzimmer. Dieses haben wir mit einer Decke etwas gepolstert, sodaß eine dritte Person dort auch gut schlafen kann. Die Korrespondenz mit Gail war ausgezeichnet und sehr sympathisch, danke dafür!!

Excellent apartment, well equipped & good location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lagos, and this apartment was an excellent base for us (couple in our early 50's). The walk down into town & then back up was no problem. The apartment was spotless & well-maintained. View from the balcony was great (which we now miss). Swimming pool was ideal & grounds to relax in perfect. Turn right out of gates for short walk to beach (taking you over train track). We had great communication from Gail - from the time we booked right through to the end of our stay. Loads of restaurants to visit, one to recommend is Onda Norte. Also, Quay Bar & Bistro and Oasis on the Marina side. Days out: Silves, Sagres & a visit to Olhao where you can get a ferry boat to Farol (pop into Tavira before heading back). We also enjoyed the Crazy golf in Lagos, but watch out for the 'frogs' :) Would highly recommend this apartment, can't wait until our next visit.

My Second Happy Place!
My first happy place is my home in Canada. My second happy place is Lagos, Portugal, and when you stay at Gail and Neil's apartment, it's even better. We spent a month there and we were extremely comfortable, very pleased with the cleanliness and how nicely it was decorated. It has all of the conveniences of home. The view of the ocean is gorgeous and unobstructed. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get, beautiful surroundings. It's very handy to walking into town to eat at the numerous delicious restaurants or picking up fresh seafood and vegetables at the markets for dinner. It was a pleasure dealing with Gail while arranging our stay. She is extremely efficient, gets back to you quickly, communicates well and she genuinely cares. We would recommend this apartment in a heartbeat and are planning on staying there again. Can't wait to return. Rose and Mac

Beautifully presented home from home
My wife and I have just returned from a 10 day stay at Gail and Neils apartment and must say that it is one of the best equipped and presented we have so far encountered.All areas are comfortable and homely and provide everything you could wish for to make the perfect holiday break.The balcony receives the sun from early morning until late afternoon and has a spectacular sea view.The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious while the bedroom has a kingsize bed and plenty of wardrobe space.Its a ten minute walk to the Marina which has a good selection of bars and restaurants and a further five minutes over the bridge to the beautiful town of Lagos where you will find some of the best restaurants in the whole of the Algarve.We would recommend the apartment to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation in a peaceful setting in the loveliest part of the Algarve.

Perfect!
The apartment is tastefully decorated and immaculately presented. Very well equipped and had everything we needed for us and our two year old, even a DVD of In the night garden! Views from the apartment were beautiful and the balcony got lots of lovely sunshine. The grounds were also immaculate; the pool, gardens and tennis courts kept us all happy. The other residents were very friendly and helpful. Nice walk to the Marina and beaches were plentiful and very clean. Lots of lovely restaurants to try, the seafood and steak were amazing. Wine was lovely and so reasonable. Gail was brilliant in communicating all the information we needed by phone, email and the folder in the apartment, couldn't fault any part of the holiday apart from coming home :-( Will definitely be returning to the apartment again. Thanks again :-)

Fab holiday in a wonderful apartment
A wonderfully modern, spacious, spotlessly clean apartment with absolutely stunning views and everything you could possibly wish for. The gardens and the pool were lovely, clean and very well kept. Gail was very helpful with everything and provided lots of useful information about restaurants, transfers, car hire etc. We would recommend this apartment to family and friends without hesitation and are hoping to return very soon.

Don't Forget Your Toothbrush - thats all you need!
My husband and 15 month year old son found this most fantastic apartment on the site. From first communication Gail was amazing sending us all the information we could ask for. Communication was first class from beginning to end - which completely reflects the apartment = exactly as the photos show. It was home from home complete with high chair and cot for my son. Everything you needed was there - literally you just needed your clothes and toothbrush!! Location was great - this was my 3rd time to Lagos and this location was perfect. We hired a car (which Gail helped us with) but even if we did not have that the location for centre of Lagos, Marina, supermarket, train station and bus station is all within a 15 min walk maximum - so no pressure to hire one. Pool was lovely and the setting of the apartment is great - good view of the sea. Neighbours friendly too. An ideal holiday location = would certainly recommend - and will most certainly be back!!! Only query I have (and hope) is Gail has properties in other countries that we can use!!

Eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung!
Wir waren eine Woche in dieser wunderschönen Ferienwohnung (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) Diese Anlage können wir zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Die Wohung ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Alles ist sauber und modern eingerichtet. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick über die Anlage, über Lagos und auch der Blick auf das Meer ist sehr schön. Egal ob man beim Frühstück hier sitzt oder am Abend bei einem Glas Wein, der Balkon ist wirklich super! Die Poolanlage ist toll und unsere Jungs(8 und 11 Jahre alt ) haben das tägliche Baden sehr genossen. Auf den Liegestühlen kann man die Ruhe genießen. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt, mit Blumen und Palmen. Überhaupt liegt diese Anlage absolut ruhig und doch nur wenige Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Zu Fuß über die Straße kann man in einem kleinen Geschäft alles kaufen, was man benötigt(Brötchen, Wurst, Käse, Kosmetikartikel, Sonnenschirme, ......) Mit dem Auto ist man sofort im nächsten großen Supermarkt (ca. 3 Minuten) Auch die Vermieter sind sehr bemüht, freundlich und sehr nett. Wir haben sie nicht persönlich kennengelernt, aber hatten Kontakt über das Internet. Die Buchung, die Schlüsselübergabe, die Informationen, die wir vorab erhalten haben, die zusätzlichen Tipps für Restaurants usw. - alles war perfekt!- Wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden!!! Ach ja, die Anlage besitzt einen Aufzug, das ist sehr bequem! Die Anlage ist durch ein großes Eingangstor mit Zaun rundum ausgestattet, man fühlt sich wohl und sicher, die Parkplätze sind innerhalb der Anlage, direkt am Haueingang. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert, Preis-Leistung absolut o.k.!

Our 2nd Visit, Apartment as Lovely as Ever!
This was our second stay at Gail and Neil's apartment and it was as lovely as we remembered it from a previous visit a couple of years ago. The apartment as before, was lovely and clean and has all the home comforts you could need, great views and grounds. Gail and Neil go that extra mile to ensure you have a great holiday and we did, plus we got great weather too for the time of year!! We would definitely recommend it.

Fab holiday - beautiful apartment

Wonderful Apartment in a Great Location
What a great apartment beautifully furnished ideally located with great facilities. Having stayed at various properties over the years this must rate as one of the best ("probably the best") Everything exactly as described,great support from Gail with lots of information. Wonderful Apartment
Absolutely fantastic apartment, spotlessly clean, spacious, fabulous views, beautiful furnishings and everything you could possibly need. We had a lovely holiday staying at this apartment and Gail just couldnt be more helpful with lots of information and recommendations. The pool is lovely, a great size and very clean, immaculate gardens and your own sun loungers, what more could you want. Its a short stroll to the marina, town and beach, the apartment is at the top of a small hill but my small children coped ok and walked to and from the beach and we would walk into town during the evening and jump in a taxi coming home (taxis readily available and only €3.90 so no problem) Lots of choice of restaurants and Lagos town is lovely I would definately recommend this apartment (and have done many times already!) although I hope it doesnt mean we cant get availability in the future! Thanks for a perfect apartment Gail it really made our holiday

Super Apartment,Fabulous Views,Highly Recommended!
We have just returned from a lovely relaxing week at this great apartment. It has wonderful sea views in private and secure grounds.The apartment is spacious,spotless, and has everything you need, a great pool with your own sunbeds so no having to rush down for them every morning! Surrounded by well kept gardens complete with a tennis court, it is not far from the marina and just a stroll into the town centre where you can find lots of great restaurants. Gail and Neil, the owners were a great help with their recommendations and went out of their way to ensure our holiday was a success. They seem to have thought of everything and the little touches make all the difference. We had a great time and would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to everyone.

we went to lagos for the first time in 2006 and fell in love with the apartment and lagos.Love it then and even more so now.Its a fabulous town.

Why they chose this property

The apartment is very spacious and as stunning views looking over the sea and beach.You can also see the sea whilst swimming in the pool and from the pool side .Situated in beautiful maintained gardens with infinety pool and tennis courts.Your own private parking and sunbeds.
we use the apartment ourselves quite alot so it is kept up to a very high standard.
A short walk to marina de lagos ,beach and town .Plenty of fabulous restaurants and cafe bars.Lagos .Many Water sport and beach bars.

What makes this property unique

You can sit on the terrace on look at the wonderful ocean also the same view from the kitchen ,lounge and bedroom .
The view is like a living picture different ever time you look out , boat , wind surfing the occasional cruise ships.
