Perfect Family Mountain Get-Away with EV Charging

Beautiful 2500 sq foot cabin near Happy Jack AZ. Just 120 Miles North of Phoenix, you can be in the cool Pines of Arizona.

Log Cabin in the beautiful Arizona High Country near Happy Jack.
Fully furnished 3 level home. Top level includes extra large master room with king size bed, en suite and balcony. Loft has beautiful view out large windows, and has a hide-a-bed for additional sleeping.
Main floor has 2 large bedrooms 1 with king size bed, other with queen size bed. Family room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and laundry room.
Lower floor is a full basement with game room includes pool table, foosball table and air-hockey. Another hide-a-bed is in the basement, however it may be a bit chilly in the basement in the winter.
Satellite TV available on main floor, no Internet or Wifi. Hot-spot is available may have limited data.

Cell service is available with Verizon. If internet is needed, you may be able to hot-spot from your phone.

Level 2 EV charging available with a 240V 50A NEMA 14-50 outlet. Bring your own [minimum 18 foot long] charging cord.

Beautiful secluded getaway

The cabin was beautiful and the surrounding views and landscape in the Coconino forest was breathtaking. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions and extremely hospitable. We would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway.

Christmas vacation

This place was awesome !! We enjoyed every bit of it. Our host was easy to communicate with. We saw a lot of birds, a rabbit and a fox. The view from the deck was beautiful.

The property was clean and all ready to enjoy the stay as soon as we arrived. Had everything needed for the stay. It was a great place to enjoy the outdoors around the place or around the deck that had all you need.

Wonderful Stay in the Pines!

We really enjoyed our weekend in this comfortable, peaceful cabin! We had everything we needed in this well-appointed cabin. The kids had a blast and the adults were able to relax.

We love this property! Great house, well stocked kitchen and awesome location. The property is far from neighbors so you really feel like you are in the forest but you have all the conveniences of home. Great host!

Wonderful Getaway

Once again, had a great trip at this cabin. The deck Gazebo was a welcome addition and sat there watching a herd of Elk (20+) slowly grazing 100 ft away. As always, Blue Ridge Reservoir was a treat and had some good trout fishing. Can't wait until next time!!

The best place

This is the best place to stay in Arizona. Awesome location and property and the best owner. Easy to get to but secluded and quiet. Lots of amenities including pool table and fusball and air hockey and grill and WiFi and fireplace etc...

Wonderful Secluded Cabin

This was our second stay and just as amazing as the first. Our Grandkids saw their first deer, the Milky Way and the Intl Space Station all from the deck.

Fantastic Family Retreat

The cabin was better than the photos show. Everything worked, we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay with our two adult children and their grandmother. What a great time watching three generations play foosball & air hockey! We would definately stay again.

Great view, seclusion of being in the forest and perfect for a up north retreat.

Plan to reserve again next year. Feel right at home with the games, kitchen and relaxing view from the deck. Awesome grill and great setup for the batrooms, all you need. Great to go up north and have an area for a horseshoe pit already.

Relaxing Mountain Retreat

What a relaxing getaway. Patricia was so accommodating and responsive. She overnighted a BBQ item I thought was missing (it wasn't missing) but she was so gracious about it. The Grandkids loved the gameroom downstairs, we all enjoyed the peace and quiet. The nearby creek was amazing and the lake down the way was a kayaker's dream. Thank you for everything Patricia!! We can't wait to visit again. Shawn

Spacious cabin with a beautiful view

My sisters and I took our kids (5 boys) for a few days to get away from the valley heat. We spent the majority of our time outdoors. We hiked, explored, went horseback riding, and stargazing. The cabin was very spacious and well supplied, we were able to find everything we needed. The owners were very quick to reply to requests and accommodated our stay on a very short notice. The only complaint I had was that the cabin was extremely warm during the day (90+ degrees), we would resort to the basement to cool off. The owner had notified me, prior to our visit, that the a/c was being installed after our departure, we just happened to visit during the hottest part of the year. I would most definitely request to stay here again.

Beautiful home, away from it all!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Two out of three days we took day trips to Sedona and the Grand Canyon, but one day we just stayed home, slept in, watched TV, played games, and ate all kinds of food that was bad for us! It was wonderful to have a HOME (not a hotel), which is the primary reason we always choose VRBO. Patricia communicated with us before, during and after the trip (oops---left a couple coats in the closet!), and was very easy to work with. The rooms are a great size to accomodate a large family, the master bedroom is a DREAM. At one point, my husband and I just sat on the deck and listened to the beautiful sounds of the wind in the pines. Our kids loved the game room, especially the 'vintage' Nintendo game! We had a few minor maintenance issues, which I shared with Patricia, and she responded promptly. None of these hindered our enjoyment of this beautiful property. Thank you again, Patricia, for a wonderful place to rest and refresh!

Scenic and Peaceful Retreat

We loved this cabin! It really is more of a "mountain home", with everything you could ask for! We loved the main floor layout, upstairs loft and separate bedroom floor. The game room downstairs was so cool. What a bonus that was! But our favorite area to hang out was the expansive deck. What a view! We ourselves had a cabin in the Happy Jack area and this home had so many of the qualities we enjoyed in the area, Privacy and quiet and STARS! One of the best features for us, were the gates on either end of the deck, ( which was high, and felt like a treehouse!) The gates enabled us to have our small dog out with us and not worry. It would also serve for keeping kids safe. And the area is so big, it is not boring at all for children to enjoy. Patricia was quite responsive when we had questions about the TV/DVD set up. We appreciated that we could communicate with her. But our main joy was looking out the windows or being on the deck. We hope to book another stay soon and make more with family. Plenty of room for groups and very family friendly property. It was exactly like described, except better! Almost always 30 degrees cooler than the valley, it was Heaven staying there on a Memorial Weekend. Thank you, Patricia! Mary Jo Backus
