Wonderful simple cottage
In our first visit to the Arcachon Basin, we found this small simple cottage to fit our needs very well. It was comfortable, affordable, quiet (in a car-less vacation cottage park), well set in natural surroundings, well situated a short walk away from the water, woods and the towns of Ares & Andernos-les-Bains with their local oyster fishers and beaches. Patricia was a very helpful and gracious hostess, who gave us plenty of tips for our stay. We think that the cottage is ideal for singles, couples, also with up to two children, who are happy with a basic accomadation. For two couples we think that the cottage would be a bit of a tight squeeze. One fun highlight in our week was a 4am visit from a family of wild boars. We recommend Patricia and this cottage whole heartedly.

Fantastic Fishing House in a Wonderful Location
I had not visited the Arcachon basin since I was a child and I was wondering if it would still seem as amazing as it did when I was young. I needn't have worried. Patricia was the perfect host - meeting us outside with a smile (even though we were rather late after a long long drive) and provided us with lots of information about the property and the area. The house is located on a site with a pool, cafe and lots of other facilities. It is set in typical SW France woodland, and just a short walk from a salt water bathing pool and the Bassin d'Arcachon itself. The site is safe, friendly and welcoming. The town of Ares is friendly and accessible, and of course you are never far away from the amazing Atlantic coast, it's glorious sandy beaches and big seas. If you want a holiday in the south of France stop looking! Book this NOW.

Accueil attentionné de Patricia , et pour les marcheurs de belles balades en forêt ou au bord du Bassin jusqu’à Ares et Andernos … voire beaucoup plus loin . Quelques plantations de lauriers pendant notre séjour dans le domaine , une initiative à encourager .

TRES BON SEJOUR
Accueil parfait par la propriétaire très charmante. la maison est fonctionnelle et très jolie. Semaine presque parfaite çà cause du temps et de la pluie, mais au mois de Mars c'était risqué. La résidence est très calme. Sul petit bémol, le déchargement et le chargement du véhicule se fait à l'extérieur de la résidence. Impossible de rentrer sa voiture. La ruée se fait sur les diables. Autrement rien à dire.

Séjour très agréable… grosse chaleur avec beaucoup de moustiques toutefois… sinon idéalement placé… piscine vraiment top…Hôte très agréable et conciliante… belle balade à faire… bungalow propre et bien équipé manque toutefois un four selon moi…et des couteaux aiguisés pour les gens qui aiment cuisiner même pendant les vacances, sinon tout était très bien 🤗

Schönes kleines Ferienhaus in prima Lage
Wir haben eine angenehme Woche dort verbracht. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Lage in dem autofreien Feriendorf unter Bäumen und nicht weit vom Naturschutzgebiet und Bassin. Das Haus ist einfach, aber gut ausgestattet und die sehr nette Vermieterin kümmert sich intensiv bei Problemen. Als Bahnreisende für uns besonders wichtig, dass der Bus direkt vor dem Parkeingang fährt. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen!

Dans l’ensemble nous avons passé un séjour agréable. Quelques remarques cependant que je n’avais pas noté en lisant les avis et l’annonce : - Promiscuité avec le voisinage (maisons quasiment collées avec vis à vis) - La maison se trouve dans la résidence Nemea à Arès - La plage coté océan la plus proche est à 20min en voiture, 50minutes en vélo - La piscine de la résidence était franchement très sale certains jours - Prévoir un torchon et un tapis de bain Côtés positifs : - Réactivité des propriétaires suite à deux petits pépins dans la maison (fuite d’eau et parasol cassé) - Hôte aimable et disponible (juste une visite surprise en fin de séjour pendant la sieste à éviter) - Bonne literie et équipements dans l’ensemble - Plage du bassin accessible à pieds et en vélo (très pratique avec des enfants en bas âge) - Piste cyclable en face de la résidence faisant tout le tour du bassin - Bar/restauration très pratique dans la résidence (livraison de pain et viennoiseries, pizzas, burgers et salades maison sur place ou à emporter) et personnel au top - Résidence calme et piétonne !

Maison confortable et lumineuse. Belles randonnées à vélo sur les pistes cyclables et à pied sur la plage de l'océan. Shopping dans les villages proches et dégustation d'huîtres au port ostréicole.

Merveilleux séjour... Que du bonheur!
Petite maison très propre et bien équipée. A la fois proche des commerces et située dans un agréable parc en bordure de forêt, sans voiture et très calme. Multiples activités, avec un accès direct à pieds au bassin d'Arcachon. Nous avons randonné sur un superbe sentier du littoral jusqu'au charmant petit port d'Andernos où nous avons dégusté des fruits de mer. Nous avons aussi loué des vélos sur place à la résidence pour aller à l'océan par la piste cyclable qui traverse une magnifique forêt. Nous reviendrons pour profiter de cet environnement exceptionnel, pour visiter Bordeaux, ses vignobles et ses châteaux. En plus, Patricia la propriétaire nous a très bien accueillis et nous a donné beaucoup d'informations très utiles pour notre séjour. A l'année prochaine!!
