The moment I arrived I knew my family & I would have the best time ever. We immediately fell in love with the location. The cabin was so adorable & we loved the view of the creek. It was all around relaxing. The hot tub was enjoyable in the evenings. We grilled the whole time, everything was provided. We are already planning our next getaway.

Quiet and relaxing stay

Lovely location right beside the creek. Our kids had a blast going into the creek and finding crawfish. Trout fishing was also great here! Only about 30 minutes away from West Jefferson. Perfect cabin for our family of four.

Beautiful cabin interior & stream

Great stay. The family was wanting a hot tub with a pretty view and we got that. The stream out back was perfect for us. Overall good experience and much better pick than a hotel.

Serenity

Our stay at Creekside Serenity more than lived up to our expectations. We had a previous stay at another property owned by same host. Not missing a thing- clean, well-stocked, clear and quick communications, cabin themed decor, covered porch, screened porch, deck, fire pit area with seating. The sound of the rushing creek right off the back deck/bedroom was simply amazing. We were initially hesitant because there is a cabin right beside, however; the layout of the cabins proved to make that a non-issue. The other cabin was occupied our entire stay and we still had what seemed like complete privacy. Definitely recommend!

Good place to stay

Overall this is a good place to stay. There were some minor maintenance issues that can be easily remedied, with only one thing that detracted from the stay that I wish we had known about beforehand. We would probably stay here again.

Mountain Hideaway

We were blown away by the beauty of the area and the coziness of this little cabin. It was perfect for two. Although we did not cook, the kitchen was well stocked. In keeping with the cabin theme, every detail was noted, from dishes, to lamps, to furniture and bedding. We traveled a lot by car during the day, so we were not at the cabin for long. Our only issue was that the road signs between Va and NC were not clearly marked, making travel confusing. GPS was not reliable due to poor Wi-Fi signals. On our departure, we did find an easier way to get to 81, so we may brave the remote location another time. 5 star cabin!
