Schimmel

Unseren Aufenthalt haben wir nach 3 Nächten abgebrochen, da sich im Schrank, der Waschmaschiene und der Küchendecke Schimmel befindet. Die Vermieterin hat die Küchendecke und den Schrank nach unserer Beschwerde geputzt. Eine Rückerstattung wollte sie uns nicht anbieten. Das Haus ist schmutzig. Der Schwamm war schwarz, nachdem ich über einen Regalboden gewischt habe. Auf der Terrasse ist ein tragender Balken gebrochen. Im Garten liegen 3 Haufen mit Gartenabfällen (1x Gras, 2x Geäst). Wir haben uns geekelt. Meine Kinder sprechen vom "Gruselhaus". Pluspunkte: Internetverbindung, umzäuntes Grundstück, Bäckerei nebenan.

Unzumutbarer Geruch

In dem Haus roch es total muffig, was auch durch intensives Lüften nicht behoben werden konnte. Alles, was wir dabei hatten inklusive unserer Taschen und sogas die Brillenetuis, haben diesen Geruch angenommen und wir arbeiten immer noch daran, ihn los zu werden. Es war somit auch nicht verwunderlich, dass in der Küche an der Decke schwarze Flecken waren, vermutlich Schimmel. Die Sauberkeit ließ auch etwas zu wünschen übrig, besondes die Terrasse hätte mal gekehrt werden können und der Grill war wohl eher als Scherz gedacht und absolut nicht zu verwenden.

Prima

Gezellig huisje vlak naast de bakker, een klein supermarktje en een bar. Het huis is prima ingedeeld en heeft een fijne veranda en handige serre. Leuke grappige inrichting! Een paar opmerkingen: De kerkklok gaat vaak. Hij is stil tussen 2200 en 0700. Maar om 0700 gaat hij hard en lang. Het bed is heel klein! Als je een lang mens bent pas je er in de lengte niet in. Het matras is heel hard en de kussens zijn niet goed meer. De kledingkast sluit slecht. De kinderslaapkamer is prima. De douchedeur is aan vervanging toe. De eettafel is charmant maar wiebelt. Er zijn maar 4 bekers en geen wijnglazen. De inrit voor de auto heeft een vervelend slot op de grond. Onze auto raakte aan de onderkant het slot. Gelukkig is er een openbare parkeerplaats naast de deur. Ik kon het niet vinden bij de beschrijving maar wij bleken het huisje zelf schoon te moeten maken. Ondanks een hele week regen hebben we het fijn gehad en genoten van de omgeving.

Schöner Aufenthalt

Das Haus und die Einrichtung war wie auf den Bildern. Eine kleine Zeitreise. Der Strand ist innerhalb von 8 Autominuten erreicht und zu Fuß gibt es einen schönen Wanderweg. Es hat uns gut gefallen.

Tolle Herbstferien!!!

Bei der Suche nach einer Unterkunft sind wir sehr spontan auf dieses schöne Kleinod im Stil der 60er Jahre gestoßen! Wer sehr großen Komfort sucht, ist hier wahrscheinlich falsch…trotzdem war alles da, was man brauchte und die Kommunikation mit der sehr freundlichen Gastgeberin Amélie Plantrou lief reibungslos! Das Häuschen liegt direkt an einem kleinen Flüsschen namens Dun und wir konnten uns sehr gut vorstellen, dass man auf der Terrasse an warmen Tagen sehr gemütliche Abende verbringen kann! Nun waren wir aber im Herbst in Le Bourg-Dun und das Wetter war zwar unbeschreiblich schön, aber eben herbstlich! Mit den bunten Blättern an den Bäumen und den fast menschenleeren traumhaft schönen Stränden in der Nähe sowie einer wunderschönen Normandie mit wundervollen alten Häusern ist für uns eins vollkommen klar: WIR KOMMEN GANZ BESTIMMT WIEDER!!! Übrigens…durch das rundherum eingezäunte Gelände war der Urlaub selbst mit unseren drei Hunden sehr unproblematisch! Im Dorf selber konnte man auch alles für einen schnellen Einkauf bekommen! Alles in allem: Für uns waren es wundervolle Tage!!!

Ein sehr originelles Häuschen in Dorflage, Bäckerei, Lebensmittelladen und Brasserie um die Ecke. In 4 Minuten ist man mit dem Auto an dem wunderschönen Strand von St. Aubin. Das Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt, sodass sich unser Hund frei bewegen konnte. Wir hatten eine herrliche Zeit.

Déco retro très sympathique au calme.

location très sympathique avec un décor bonne ambiance rétro, au calme prés d'une boulangerie à 20 mètre bien accueillante. Sur la route de Dieppe à Fécamp. Commerces à une dizaine de km et de beaux marchée au alentour.

Klein und fein

Ein interessantes Objekt, welches uns in die 60iger Jahre entführt hat. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Begeistert waren wir von den vielen Rosen die im Garten blühten und der Terrasse auf der man herrlich den Wein genießen konnte (leider fehlten die Weingläser in dem sonst gut ausgestatteten Haus):)

Great gite in excellent location

We loved this quirky property, well equiped, spotless,lovely location. My only fault would be, we are oldies and found the seating a little uncomfortable, nevertheless we had a great holiday and would recommend to friends.

La petite maison dans le bourg

Bonjour. .ce n'est pas une résidence de standing. Mais une petite maison restauree avec les moyens du bord et décorée vintage. ..Le mobilier et la décoration surprennent au départ et on fini très vite par s y habituer. ..avis personnel la tele un peu petite surtout quand la météo n est pas au beau fixe...MAIS SURTOUT.....problème de connexion internet et réseau téléphone. ...location à refaire avec une belle meteo

Süßes Ferienhaus mit Charme in guter Lage

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit einem Zeitsprung in die bunten, schrillen 60er Jahre in Frankreich. In jeder Ecke sind nette Ideen und zeitgenössische Details zu finden, die bunten Farben überall machen sofort gute Laune! Die Hütte an sich ist eher einfach aufgebaut, durch die vollständige Ausstattung mit Wasch- und Spülmaschine fehlt es einem aber an nichts. Das Internet ist sehr schnell. Im verglasten Vorbau kann man geschützt die Morgensonne genießen und hat zudem einen netten Blick. Auf der hinteren Terrasse sitzt man ebenfalls gut geschützt vor Regen, man kann im Schatten oder auch in der Sonne sitzen. Toll ist auch, dass das Grundstück komplett eingezäunt ist und einen eigenen Parkplatz besitzt. So konnte unser Hund frei im Haus und auf dem Grundstück herumlaufen, was total entspannend war. Die Gegend rund ums Haus ist gepflegt mit einer Bäckerei, einem kleinen Laden, der Post, einem Bistro/Bar, Touristikinformation, Bibliothek sowie einer große Spielwiese angrenzend ans Haus, auf der wir viel Federball gespielt haben. Zum Meer fährt man etwa 10 Minuten mit dem Auto, dafür gibt es eine ganze Reihe von atemberaubenden Kiesstränden und Steilküstenpanorama. Hier und da, vor allem bei Ebbe auch Sandflächen. Die Dörfer im Umfeld versprühen den rauen, romantischen Charme der Normandie. Der Urlaub war viel zu schnell vorbei und hat uns in dem Haus gut gefallen. Einen Nachteil des Hauses möchten wir aber noch erwähnen. Beim ersten Betreten des Hauses hat es leider muffig und schimmelig gerochen. Vielleicht waren wir im April die ersten Besucher nach längerer Zeit? Nach vielem Lüften und Beheizen der Räume war der Geruch aber dann (fast) verschwunden und nicht mehr störend. Da es sich bei der Hütte um eine Leichtbauweise handelt, wird das Problem vermutlich vorrangig in der kalten Jahreszeit wegen Kondenswasser bestehen, wenn wenig gelüftet wird. Das Problem bestand aber nur am 1. Tag, danach war alles gut und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Von daher "Daumen hoch" für das süße und sehr praktische Ferienhäuschen.

Superbe !

We (family of 5, with three children between 10-15) enjoyed very much our stay. The house was very clean and very well equipped with everything you need. A lot of attention is given to the interior, decorated with years 60 accents, pictures etc. The veranda outside made it possible to eat outside during almost 95% of our meals. The sun was dampened, and on the rare rainy days the terrace remained dry. The house is convenient located very close to a (good) boulangier, as small supermarket and restaurant. We frequent visited the pleasant bach of Saint Velary, which is only about 3 km ride. We appreciated the attention of Amelie, who was very kind and helpful. Conclusive, we enjoyed our stay very much, and during a next visit to this region, we will definitely book this house.

Nous avons passé un long week-end agréable au Bourg-Dun et dans sa région avec nos 2 enfants. Les enfants s'y sont bien amusés (jeux intérieurs et extérieurs), la déco est amusante. Attention dès qu'il commence à faire froid, nous avons trouvé que la maison n'était pas très bien isolée.

Une expérience à 100% réussie

Nous avons passé un très bon moment en famille avec nos 3 enfants dans ce gîte très fonctionnel et admirablement décoré : un vrai voyage dans le temps pour les petits qui se sont émus de l'existence des 45 tours, de la télévision en noir et blanc et des couleurs vives des meubles en Formica. La gentillesse de Marie-Amélie qui s'est montrée ultra flexible et serviable, la beauté de la région et la localisation du gîte (très bien placé par rapport aux lieux à visiter et aux commerces) ont parfait ce séjour ! Merci mille fois Marie-Amélie !

Delightful and extraordinary

What a perfect little house located in the very center of the beautiful village Le Bourg Dun! We had the pleasure of staying at the archi 60 for three weeks. It was an ideal base for exploring the wonderful area, and the house offered everything to enjoy every single moment of our stay. The covered terrace, the rivulet, the private parking space right in front of the house, the bakery just next door, a less than 10 minutes drive to the sea, a super fast and reliable wireless connection to the internet: All of this made us feel at "home sweet home" immediately. The accomodation was as comfortable as charming and we let ourselves sink into the inspiring and unique atmosphere of the 60's. Amelie was most kind, and made sure we had everything we needed, in fact we didn't miss a thing; the house is very well equipped, perfectly clean and the bed is most comfortable. The environment is peacefully quiet and the direct view of the wonderful church is just amazing. Different beautiful beaches, villages and the cliffs can be reached with a short car trip and the overall calm of the region is so relaxing. Thank you, dear Amelie, for that wonderful place you created with so much taste and love! We took a bucketload of inspiration back home. (We couldn't help taking pictures of every single detail of the interior, just to make sure we didn't miss any of all those gorgeous 60's articles, ads and design elements :) ) We wouldn't hesitate to warmly recommend this place.
