This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one twin, as well as a ground floor bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside this cottage is a small rear enclosed courtyard with furniture and parking is in a local car park (Pay and display car parks available in the top part of the village, charges apply at certain times of the year). Grimes Cottage is an ideal base for families who wish to explore the North York Moors National Park, Whitby and Scarborough.

Loading/unloading area approx. 100 yards from cottage - no parking at the bottom of Staithes village. Enclosed courtyard with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops, pubs and beach 2 mins walk. Note: This cottage has narrow internal stairs. Note: Steps lead up to the cottage from the main street. Note: Mobile phone reception is limited in Staithes. Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
Town: The seaside village of Staithes offers cobbled streets and back alleys, pretty houses, harbour, sandy beach, pubs, shops and tea rooms. The Cleveland Way is well worth exploring, whilst the larger resports of Whitby and Scarborough are nearby.
