Widemouth Bay excellent base for exploring Cornwall
We only had three full days to spend in Cornwall. Our chalet in Widemouth Bay was lovely and clean. It had everything we needed. Good base to explore Cornwall. We got to see Fowey, Polperro, Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel, Newquay and Port Isaac. I would highly recommend this chalet and location to anyone.

Good standard of accommodation with excellent views. Only slight issue was lack of Wi-Fi, but that wasn’t a showstopper. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Perfect little place for exploring North Cornwall
Spent a great few days here, perfect to explore the north of Cornwall. The site is handily placed within walking distance of Widemouth Bay (although walking with a pushchair is a struggle). The property has everything you could need and Dan was brilliant answering our queries asap. A few places to eat in the village, the Beach House was the best we found. Not cheap but a great menu and made us feel really welcome. All in all we would happily stay again.

Sehr schönes kleines Ferienhaus oberhalb des Strandes. Herrliche Aussicht. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr angenehm, Check in alles über E-Mail geregelt. Strand ist ca 15 min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auto ist von Vorteil, da kein Supermarkt in der Nähe ist. Die Ferienanlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt mit einem sehr schönen, kleinen Pool. Auch ein kleines Restaurant ist vorhanden. Und hat es sehr gut gefallen

Lovely chalet with everything included!
Superb chalet. Owner thoughtful and these little things made the stay very enjoyable - a home from home. Area very quiet. Pool and facilities close early and very few things to do in the evenings. Be that as it may, the pluses are: the beach is walking distance from the chalet, and Bude is only a few miles away by car!

Lovely stay
Really nice chalet. Kitchen is as very well stocked, had everything we needed. Furniture comfy. Beds comfy. The site has amazing views and was nice and quiet. We met up with friends who had their own chalet and their children enjoyed the area. We would recommend this chalet. Very clean.

Prima locatie. Heel jammer alleen dat het zwembad op het park niet open was en niet alle deuren naar behoren sloten en een paar stoelen nogal kraakten. Verder was de keuken wat krap.

Perfect!
Perfect property for a base to explore Cornwall. Clean and well equipped. I went with teenagers, we had pre-booked surf lessons at Widemouth Bay (which is beautiful and very near) for 3 days. The walk to the beach is great and the view of Widemouth Bay is fabulous, we watched some great sunsets! Would definitely stay here again, if coming to this part of Cornwall.

Preiswerte Unterkunft in der Vorsaison
Eine schöne schon etwas in die Jahre gekommene Bungalowsiedlung. Hier wird nach Corona gerade der Neustart vom Betreiber angegangen. Bedeutet: noch nicht die gesamte Infrastruktur läuft schon zu 100 %. Wobei sich die einzelnen Bungalows in Privatbesitz befinden und somit nicht in der Verantwortung des Betreibers stehen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen: Tolle Lage, wenig Gäste schönes Wetter (zumal für Cornwall), klasse Strand (und ein Lidl in der Nähe). gerne wieder

All was fine with the property, rooms, size and equipment supplied all good. Location was great. Only issue at moment was that nothing was open on site including swimming pool, resturant, tennis court etc. We still had a lovely few days. All good!

Great accommodation in a brilliant location
The property was well equipped for our stay as we cooked every night. A great spot on the evening to sit out to enjoy the last of the days sun.. Which we were lucky to have all week! The location is brilliant and we have stayed on this park before because of this. The situation on the accommodation on the park is ideal for the car park but is not over looked to the rear and theres a nice grassy area to the front. We will most definitely be returning in the future

Excellent property if looking for a base for travelling and visiting this beautiful place. Everything you would expect from the description which was accurate. If facilities on site ever re open this property would have everything you would only improve your holiday.

Very dissappointing very poorly maintained property
The worst accommodation by far that I have experienced in over40 years Main issues The bolt on bathroom door was broken It was impossible to open bedroom window There was puddle on bedroom floor after rain One of two lights in lounge did not work One electric point did not work The blind in bedroom pull did not work The beds in twin room were narrow Such information should be disclosed in information The time stated for walking to beach was wildly inaccurate and this a misrepresentation This was made worse as it was impossible to reneged the site from the footpath as a code was required to operate the gate As you can see I am .let unhappy and ask you to remove this property from your listing as it is not fit for purpose Of you keep it on your lists I will never use your organisation again This is the first time have ever written a report like thjs

Great time in Great Britain
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im Widemouth Village. Die Wohnung war, wie beschrieben, unsere Töchter (9 und 13) haben sich schnell mit den Nachbarskindern angefreundet und konnten so erstmals ihre Englischkenntnisse anwenden. Der fußläufig entfernte Strand hat uns gut gefallen. Toll auch, dass es in der Wohnung Body-Boards gab!

Second visit to pebbles
This was our second visit to 'pebbles' and we thoroughly enjoyed it once again. This property has everything you could want for a great family holiday. This isn't the place if you want a club and nightlife, it's a quiet site, well located for touring North Cornwall and Devon. Surfing and beach life are on the doorstep if that's your thing, and Bude is down the road for all the traditional seaside pastimes. Overall, a fab family holiday.

Why they chose this property

With its location so close to one of the most outstanding stretches of North Cornish coastline, and the beaches so renowned for their sand, surf and scenery , the chalet makes an excellent base for a Cornish family holiday - 10 minute walk or 1 minute drive and you are on the beach!
Bude is circa 3 miles away with all the offerings of a good seaside town + supermarkets and everything else you could need

What makes this property unique

The chalet is double-glazed, with a gas combi boiler and central heating making it great for holidays and short breaks all year round. Its privately owned so the rates are comparably very good!
