My son and I had a great time at this property! Very clean and comfortable with everything you’d need for a family holiday whether you eat in or go out. A short drive down to the village and access to various pubs and restaurants. We had fun kayaking from pub to pub when the tide was in, playing tennis at the property and making s’mores on the brick BBQ + visiting the many beautiful beaches that are within a 15 min drive. Highly recommended!
The cottage was absolutely ideal. Everything we needed was there. Lovely cottage. Lovely location. Lovely area.
In summary - Lovely. We couldn’t fault it.
Mumpys Cottage was everything we hoped for. Clean, well equipped and quiet. It is on a complex with lots of other cottages but this was not a problem at all.
We enjoyed the tennis court and grounds and beautiful views. Stoke Beach and Noss Mayo both lovely. We enjoyed our first try at paddle boarding on the estuary along with crabbing and drinks by the harbour. Further afield - cider tour and tasting at Hunts Cider about 40mins away. We were gifted with amazing weather so all in all a very successful holiday. Thank you 😊
Lovely quite cottage with good facilities. My Husband felt it needed slit cleaner as evidence of slug had got in. On last day he found and killed it. He standard are very high though.
Great opportunity for walking but rather steep gradients whichever way you walk.
Lovely rural location with nicely kept grounds.
Property well equipped.
Pubs easily accessible by car although roads very narrow.
Also accessible by walking on road or footpaths but be warned it’s downhill to the pubs/eateries which means uphill on the way back. We really enjoyed the surroundings and would be more than happy to return.
The cottage was ideally located, within walking distance of the village and the local beach. Noss Mayo and Newton Ferres are lovely villages.
The cottage was well equipped, and spacious for the four of us. Although amongst other holiday cottages, it was very quiet and peaceful. Having a tennis court and garden was a plus point.
Would recommend a visit to the Swan for a drink and the Dolphin for food.
Communication was excellent. Alison was helpful and easy to deal with.
Would definitely recommend a stay at this cottage. Would stay again.
We had a fantastic time. The location was excellent with great coastal walks a 15 minute walk away. Lovely beaches within a 10 minute drive. Also the village of Noss Mayo is a 10 minute walk with 2 great pubs that serve excellent food with great views! Would definitely come again!!
Lovely property, ideally located for exploring the area. Nicely furnished and had everything we needed. Comfortable home for the week. Plenty of games to keep the kids entertained and they made good use of the games room. Visited Stoke,Mothecombe and Bigbury beaches. It is very hilly in the immediate area and the property is at top of a hill. Stoke beach and Noss Mayo are within walking distance but uphill on return journey. Good fish and chips at Brixton. Lunch at The Swan in Noss Mayo was great. Great base with excellent facilities, amazing views and easy access to Plymouth.

Great Property Lovely Setting
Great long weekend, the weather was fantastic and we managed to take in a number of walks and beaches nearby, would definitely stay again. Only word of warning, the surrounding roads are very narrow and not for the faint of heart.

Weekend at Mumpys Cottage
We all enjoyed our stay at your cottage, with everything we needed, grounds were well maintained and clean. Should have probably stayed a bit longer to take in all the walks. The magazine could do with a culling as they were over 10years old. But definitely would book again.

lovely little cottage.would stay again
we enjoyed our stay' plenty to do in the area and even on site. Had some games of tennis and table tennis. Great fun. Unfortunately the dishwasher kept tripping the circuit board, which we have already informed you about. A cheque to my address which I gave you earlier will be fine. Many thanks

Charming, well equipped, comfortable and has beautiful views.
We had fantastic weather so to sit outside with a morning cuppa was a good start to the day. The birds and the cows mooing made me feel very restful along with the peacefulness of Mumphys Cottage.
Overall an excellent week visiting nearby Mothercombe Beach and Kitley House for a cream Tea. Can't wait until next year so we can come back.

Very well equipped kitchen , warm , clean and a very comfortable bed. Beautiful views.
A little bit concerned when we couldn't open the front door but with a big push we were in! But that added character to the property. Excellent value for money. Plenty of parking and the grounds are spotless. Ideal accommodation for a getaway break. Very good restaurants in Noss Mayo everything you need.

Peace and Quiet !
A lovely holiday in a lovely setting. A well-cared for garden right infront of the cottage and just a ten minute walk down to Noss Mayo.
Great access to the coastal path and we were able to do walks straight from the cottage, so didn't always need to use the car. Easy to get to other places too, such as Bigbury and Dartmouth. Even played Table Tennis and Darts in the Games room!
Thank you for a very enjoyable week away!

Good Accommodation, Great Location
Good clean accommodation, dog friendly within a superb location. The facilities of the gardens with picnic tables and Tennis Court are especially nice. I have been to this specific site for three years now so would obviously recommend the site location and general area of Devon.

A very nice holiday property surrounded in a quiet location surrounded by beautiful countryside
We really enjoyed our week in Mumpys cottage. It was clean, very well equipped and had everything that could be needed for us and our 6 year old. Ideally sized for a small family, the property is one of a number of holiday rental properties surrounding a small courtyard. The back of Mumpys cottage overlooked the gardens. We used it as a base to explore south Devon.
Noss Mayo is a lovely waterside village, and if you have children you can sit outside The Swan and watch the kids go crabbing next to you in Noss creek. A short drive away is Mothecombe beach which is excellent, and has both sand and rock pools. The cafe at the car park there has good food, reasonably priced, that you can take away.
I would certainly recommend the property to family and friends, although there wasn't any wi-fi actually installed in the cottage ( maybe that can be good?) I did manage to connect to BT openzone fine with my laptop and used that when needed, but mobile phone signal in this particular area comes and goes.

Lovely, quiet and all we could have hoped for.
We had a lovely time in your cottage. It was very clean, had all the utilities one needed and more. It is not far from the beach, which we walked to and there is a costal walk which we enjoyed which was approximately 8 miles. The cottage is in a very quiet location with lovely gardens, tennis courts and ample parking. We would definitely recommend this cottage and hopefully in the future will stay there again.
