Casa Azahar is set in a quiet peaceful location yet only a short distance from the bustling port of Denia, (regular daily ferry service to Ibiza) the many attractions include restaurants of various types and most international tastes are well catered for, apart from the beach the marina is close by with cafes and bistros etc, an ideal place for an evening stroll.

Five minutes from the house is la Sella 27 hole golf course adjacent to 5 star Marriot hotel also tennis facilities are available. The village of La Xara is ten minutes flat walk with supermarket, bars and restaurants.

The proprietors Marie-Anne and Tony live in separate part of the property with their own private garden and are always on hand to solve any problems or give advice on places of interest.

The two bedroom apartment has a large private patio of 50 m2 and is served by two private staircases, There is a comfortable kitchen diner with UK and French satellite TV.
The poolside chalet has a double bedroom and a comfortable kitchen diner with UK satellite TV.

All bedrooms have air conditioning and standard fans in the rooms.
The guest garden has sun loungers and plenty of shady areas to escape the midday sun and to relax and have a BBQ at the end of the day.
The 8 x 4 metres swimming pool is exclusively for the guests. The property is suitable for a group of six people who would like to be together while maintain a personal and quiet space.

WONDERFUL

We stayed here in first two weeks of August, and wow, was it 🔥 hot 🔥 What a fantastic holiday. Although it seems a little way off the normal track, its accessibility to all you need is close to hand. The village of La Xara is a 10 minute walk, or a 15 minute stroll. A scattering of bars and restaurants, and a local supermarket offering all your needs. Fresh meats, vegetables fish etc The train stop is literally 5 minutes walk to take you 10 minutes into Denia (2 euro retun) or 1hr 20mins to Benidorm (6 euro return) So the villa is perfectly placed to allow all access to all locations whist being remote and secluded. A car offers it's obvious benefits, but really not needed. The villa itself is perfect. The pool area, garden and barbecue offers plenty of space to play, relax, cook and eat. There really is nothing at all that could offer any form of complaint. And then there's the host's. What wonderful people they are. Forever attentive, but never oppressive. Fully welcoming with a desire to ensure you're stay is as perfect as it can be, and their invitation to Tony's paella is a highlight of the stay. You will fail not to enjoy your stay at this location, Marie-Anne and Tony will make sure that you leave with happy memories. Thank you Marie-Anne and Tony 10/10 Memories forever

Estancia Fantástica

La casa es perfecta para unas buenas vacaciones. Interior limpísimo, equipado y muy funcional ( un plus genial, el aire en todas las habitaciones) .Y el exterior con muchísimo encanto y espacio, zonas de sol y sombra, tumbonas suficientes para todos, barbacoa y una gran piscina. El pueblo de la Xara , con todos los servicios y gente muy agradable, a un paseo, y lo mejor la amabilidad y simpatía de Toni y Marie-Anne. Desde el minuto uno te hacen sentir en casa, pendientes de que todo esté bien, pero dándote privacidad absoluta. Muchas gracias por todo .Deseando volver pronto. ☺️

Très bon séjour

Superbe accueil, Marie-Anne et Tony sont des gens adorables, au petit soin. Il ne manque rien aux logements, l'extérieur est super agréable. Le seul petit bémol serait l'escalier en colimasson pour rejoindre la piscine directement, avec un bébé ce n'était pas très pratique mais un second escalier bien plus fonctionnel est en place, il faut faire un plus grand tour. Climatisation dans les chambres. Séjour très agréable dans ce logement, à réserver une autre année sans hésitation.

Super séjour. Parfaitement accueilli par les propriétaires, très chaleureux et à l'écoute. Intérieurs et extérieurs très bien entretenus, avec discrétion lors de notre présence. Nous avons passé 15 jrs formidable. Les propriétaires sont des gens très sympathiques, disponibles et bienveillants. Le fait que les propriétaires soient sur place n'est pas un inconvénient mais plutôt un avantage.

Magnifique

En effet notre séjour dans la maison Anne Marie et Tony était juste magnifique, la maison est très fonctionnelle et assez spacieuse pour une famille, la propreté est irréprochable, le linge de lit et les serviettes sont très propres et sentent très bon La maison est équipée de deux cuisines une à l'étage et l'autre dans le chalet à côté de la piscine, elles sont très bien équipées avec des four, plaques de cuisson et deux frigos et pleins d'ustensiles de cuisine pour préparer vos repas En ce qui concerne le fameux jardin il est vraiment exceptionnel et très beau de plus la piscine est assez grande pour une famille Enfin Anne Marie et Tony sont des personnes vraiment très gentilles très accueillons et très disponibles si besoin Je recommande cette location les yeux fermés merci encore Anne Marie et Tony et à la prochaine

Super vacances à Denia

Nous avons passés 15 jours exceptionnels à Denia. Tony et Marie-Anne sont des gens formidables très discret et toujours à votre disposition! La maison est très belle ainsi que la dépendance! La piscine est juste magnifique. Il y a un immense jardin où nous avons fait de grands barbecues et pour la détente c’est juste un petit coin de paradis. Merci encore à Tony et Marie-Anne vraiment ma famille et moi nous sommes sentis comme à la maison des gens très simples et très chaleureux. Merci pour ces vacances de rêves Myriam

Villa très agréable

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette charmante villa. Elle était conforme à nos attentes. Le jardin est magnifique. Le lieu est calme. Le plus : les propriétaires Marie-Anne et Tony sont des gens charmants et à l'écoute de leurs hôtes. Nous n'avons jamais été aussi bien reçus et la paëlla était vraiment excellente, la meilleure qu'on ait mangée. Séjour à recommander.

SEJOUR MERVEILLEUX

Tout est dit dans le titre: SEJOUR MERVEILLEUX!!! Nous avons passez 15 jours en famille dans cette superbe maison qui apporte tout le confort avec climatisation dans les chambres, jardin magnifique ou l'on peut faire une petite siesta sous les arbres, sans oublier la superbe piscine où mon fils a appris à faire ses 1ers plongeons! Un énorme merci à Marie-Anne et Tony pour leur acceuille, ce sont des personnes formidables et d'une gentillesse incroyable! Nous nous souviendrons de l'excellente paella de Tony fait comme un CHEF! nous nous sommes régalés. Nous retenons cette adresse pour de futurs vacances!!

Magnifique séjour à Dénia - Wonderful stay in Déni

Mon mari, mes 2 filles et moi-même avons séjourné dans la maison de Marie-Anne et Tony en août 2016 pendant 10 jours et nous avons adoré! La maison, le jardin, la piscine, et surtout l’accueil et les attentions de Marie-Anne et Tony, toutes les conditions étaient réunies pour que nous passions un agréable séjour. Nous en gardons de merveilleux souvenirs. Je ne m’attarderai pas sur la maison confortable avec la climatisation dans les chambres, sur le beau jardin arboré et fleuri, équipé en table et barbecue où nous avons régulièrement déjeuné, la piscine privative. Je préfère évoquer le superbe accueil de nos hôtes : des gens authentiques, sincères, philanthropes avec un sens de la convivialité et qui voient dans la location de leur bien une occasion unique d’échanges avec des individus venus d’ailleurs. Ma famille les remercie encore pour l’excellent diner qu’ils nous ont offert avec une mention spéciale pour Tony qui a cuisiné la délicieuse Paëlla! Sans oublier Jasper, le chien adoré de mes filles. Marie-Anne, Tony vous êtes des gens très attachant ! Merci ! Abdel, Manel, Dalel et Zahera --------------------------------------------------------------------- My husband, my 2 daughters and myself stayed in the house of Marie-Anne and Tony in August 2016 during 10 days and we liked! The house, the garden, the swimming pool, and especially the reception and the attentions of Marie-Anne and Tony, all the conditions were gathered so that we had a pleasant stay. We keep it of wonderful memories. I can describe for a long time the comfortable house with the air conditioning in rooms, the beautiful raised and flowery garden, equipped with table and barbecue where we regularly lunched, the privative swimming pool. But I prefer to evoke the magnificent welcome of our hosts: authentic, sincere people, philanthropists with a sense of the conviviality. People who see in the rent of there propertie an opportunity of exchanges with other people. My family still thanks them for the excellent dinner which they offered to us with a special mention for Tony who cooked the delicious Paella! Séjour chez Marie -Anne et Tony

Super séjour chez des personnes extrêmement gentilles, la paëlla de Tony est vraiment succulente et faite avec "AMOUR".Le cadre est très agréable et calme. Le jardin de Marie-Anne est magnifique avec des nombreuses variétés de plantes exotiques.Les prestations sont à la hauteur de ce que l'on attends pour des vacances.Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse où tout est fait pour y passer un bon séjour. Excellentes vacances

Nous avons passé de formidables vacances dans cet endroit merveilleux, le cadre est magnifique et les propriétaires Marie-Anne et Tony sont très accueillant et toujours à votre écoute. Cette année (c’est la 2ème), nous avons pu apprécier la clim dans les chambres, mais la piscine est aussi là pour rafraichir vos journées chaudes et ensoleillées. Donc, si vous souhaitez passer des vacances inoubliables, c’est à la Caza Azahar qu'il vous faut aller . Une dernière chose, si vous aimez la Paella, n’hésitez pas de demander à Tony sa recette, car incontestablement The king !! Encore merci a eux pour leur gentillesse Patrick et Marie-Jo V

We had A Really Superb Time. It's been our Best Holiday Ever. Marie-Anne & Tony are the greatest hostess/host. We'll definitely go back soon. We had a great warm welcome by them. The best apartment for a well deserve holiday

All the way from Australia we travelled around Europe for six weeks, we stayed at various hotels but on our last stop in Spain We stayed at this lovely apartment it was just unbelievable the place was just so comfortable, well situated and maintained the owners were so friendly, amazing, warm and welcoming we felt like we were at home, they helped us with the best place to visit and how to get around which we really appreciated as they saved us a lot of time. They did their utmost to please us and make our stay a memorable one which we were very sad when we left for Barcelona that we only wished we could have spent more time there. We would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to have a nice, quiet holiday away from home, guaranteed you will want to come back again as we do. we enjoyed the best paella ever compliment to Tony From Sylvia and Michel Vidot

Ilot de calme britannique et chaleur espagnole

Dans un jardin paradisiaque, plein de cactus, de fleurs et de plantes exotiques vous trouverez la piscine, le calme et l'accueil chaleureux des hôtes de la caza azahar. L'appartement à l'étage de la maison ainsi que le chalet à coté de la piscine sont bien équipés et même si la climatisation fait parfois défaut, car il fait vraiment beau et chaud, un plongeon dans la piscine à 30°c suffit à vous rafraichir. Les photos présentées sur le site sont fidèles à la réalité et l'ensemble des logements est d'une propreté impeccable. Il y a même pour les jours de pluie (il parait qu'il peut y en avoir) la télévision en anglais et en français. Située à environ 5 km de Denia, et à 1,5 Km du village de la Xara, il est indispensable de disposer d'une voiture pour profiter de la région même si la gare du train reliant Denia à Alicante est tout près de la maison. A 5km, la plage et les restaurants vous attendent. Le propriétaire vous fera visiter les environs à votre arrivée afin de profiter au mieux de votre séjour. Nous recommandons cette location à des familles avec de jeunes enfants, les adolescents risquant de souffrir un peu de l'éloignement des sites plus animés (discothèques, bars etc) et de la tranquillité de cet endroit. Les propriétaires, très accueillants et chaleureux sauront agrémenter votre séjour d'agréables conversations en anglais. Bref, ces deux semaines furent les meilleures vacances que nous ayons eues en famille. Notre seul regret : être revenus en France.
