Situated near Sarlat and the major touristics spots of the region (lascaux IV, Jardins du manoir d'Eyrignac, Les Eyzies, Domme ...), in SW France, this beautiful farmhouse is the perfect base for your dream holiday. With 3 bedrooms, spacious living area and fully equipped kitchen, Le Domaine de Beaugarry comfortably accommodates 6 (with 1 extra comfortable bed and 1 extra baby bed).

The 12mx4m swimming pool is heated and equipped with a safety cover.

Dine in the local restaurants in the village (5 min.) or in the local producers' market. You also may take a picnic to the lake (500m away) and enjoy a wonderful al-fresco lunch. Why not hike with a donkey and discover the wonderful countryside and pretty villages en route?

Visit nearby Sarlat renowned for it's medieval architecture, café culture, street entertainment and lively markets. There are magical underground caves to explore, and the 17,000 year old prehistoric caves at Lascaux are well worth a visit. Golf, tennis, swimming,spa, close by.

Le Domaine de Beaugarry is a more than 200 years old stone farmhouse totally self-contained and situated in private 4 Ha park, 13 min. north of Sarlat. Free accès to the wonderful fruit garden.

Ground floor:

Sitting Room:

The spacious sitting area room is full of character, with exposed stone walls. The comfortable couch and armchairs are arranged to offer a beautiful view of the park. There is a TV, DVD player, music system and a selection of videos. Unlimited WIFI internet access.

Kitchen-Dining room:

The contemporary kitchen-dining room (new for 2016) is well equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, dish washer, the dining table seats 8 people.

Full bathroom with toilet and washing machine.

First floor:

There are three bedrooms, a sitting place and a vaste bathroom with toilet on the first floor.
Bedroom 1 is a generous size with 160cm (5ft) bed, bedroom 2 is a twin room with two single 90cm (3ft) beds. Bedroom 3 is equipped with 160 cm (5ft) bed. The bedrooms are parqueted and very comfortably furnished. They have electric radiator heating. All beds are made up for your arrival with crisp bed linen. The bathroom has a shower unit, wash basin and WC. There is a heated towel rail. Bath towels, hand towels and bath mats are supplied.

Outdoors:

French doors open from the sitting room onto the terrace which is bathed in sunshine.It offers a beautiful view on the park. With a dining table and chairs for 6 people and the barbecue it is perfect setting for an aperitif or al-fresco meal. .

The 4 Ha park with specimen trees and fruit garden surrounds the house.
The pool, surrounded by a paved terrace with sun loungers, parasols is adjacent to a vaste poolhouse with a wonderfull view of the park.
Measuring 12m x 4m with corner steps at the shallow end and 1.7m at the deep end, the pool is provided with a modern roll-on cover which acts as a security barrier and a heat insulator.

Excellent stay.

Overall very clean, excellent kitchen, well equiped! Beds very good, modern interior. Enough space. Swimming pool large with a beautiful view. One little remark: some seat cushions outdoor chairs would be nice. Lot of privacy at the property. Isabelle and Arnaud, the owners, are very kind and helpfull. Thanks a lot. We enjoyed it. Family holiday

House was just what we wanted for our holiday in France. Plenty of space for 6 of us (5 adults and a teenager). Comfortable beds, enough space in the lounge and for us to eat. Used the pool daily in the hot weather which was a godsend! It was cleaned every morning by the owner before we got up. Owners on hand in their adjacent property if we needed, but kept themselves to themselves and allowed us to completely relax without bothering us at all. Lovely area to take a stroll during the evening (a bit too hot in the day). Friendly residents in the local village. A good bakery, restaurant, butcher and a small grocery shop for all necessities in the village too.

Beautiful, peaceful, countryside retreat

We spent 10 days at this villa. We were warmly welcomed by Arnaud and Isobelle, who showed us around the villa and explained the area. The villa fitted all our requirements with enough room for us all. The kitchen was well equipped. The added advantage of having a downstairs bathroom meant that during pool days the villa wasn’t getting wet when the children came inside. The pool was great and well maintained - the weather was hot and the children enjoyed cooling off in the pool whenever they wanted. It was also not too deep, the shallow end is perfect for small children, and probably only 3ft deep. It also has a secure cover when not in use so you don’t have to worry about kids falling in! The large surrounding area which Arnaud owns is incredibly peaceful and gave the children an opportunity to see many animals such as deer, kites and of course the 2 alpacas they own. In the evening there is a great barbecue and outdoor area to eat in. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes relaxation time and exploring the nearby villages.

Entspannung pur!

Umgeben von Natur, in absoluter Ruhe haben wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder 13 & 15j) im August 2021 zwei sehr entspannte Wochen verbracht. Das Haus ist eine super renovierte alte Scheune im traditionellen Stil, die ausreichend Platz für 4 bietet, umgeben von Wiesen und Feldern (Ziegen, Esel, Pferde, Alpakas) mit eingenem Garten. Alles sehr sauber, sehr gute Matratzen und sonstige Ausstattungen haben einen perfekten Urlaub ermöglicht. Arnaud und seine Frau leben im angrenzenden Hof und waren für alles sehr hilfreich. Zentral gelegen (Sarlat, Lascaux, Terasson, oder Dordogne alles in 15-20min) mit allen Geschäften in wenigen Minuten erreichbar empfehlen wir dieses Haus ohne Zögern für die Erkundschaftung des Perigord Noirs oder auch nur zum Entspannen.

Superbe séjour au domaine de Beaugarry

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances au sein de ce domaine. Accueil très appréciable malgré notre arrivée tardive, très joli gîte bien équipé et propriétaires très sympathiques et de bons conseils pour nous faire découvrir cette belle région. Séjour dépaysant et découvertes locale

Nous sommes venus à 6 amis pour passer le week-end dans la région. Arnaud a su rénover un ancien séchoir à tabac en un endroit chaleureux et moderne en conservant le charme de l’ancien. Les mesures pour le Covid-19 sont parfaitement respectées et le gîte est d’une propreté irréprochable! Arnaud est de bon conseil et saura vous aiguiller pour dénicher un restaurant local où un petit village à visiter! N’hésiter pas et venez découvrir ce gîte! Nous reviendrons !

N'hésitez pas à aller chez Arnaud et Isabelle ! L'accueil est au top ! La maison très bien agencée et équipée est dans un cadre de rêve : campagne à perte de vue, cohabitation avec tous les animaux. Nous avons adoré nos petits moments de détente après les visites a la piscine. Nous avons séjourné à 6 (4 adultes et 2 enfants) dans le gîte d'Arnaud et Isabelle. Nous avons apprécié la disponibilité, la réactivité la bienveillance et les bons conseils de nos hôtes (merci pour le petit kit de bienvenue) La maison est très agréable, alliant avec goût le bâti d'un ancien séchoir à tabac avec un agencement intérieur moderne et bien équipé (la literie est très bonne). La grande piscine durant cette semaine caniculaire a été d'une grande utilité, et nous avons apprécié la fraîcheur du salon. Nous avons été ravis par la proximité des animaux et la liberté que nous avions d'aller à leur rencontre. Nous reviendrons très certainement et nous recommandons assurément! Le logement est beau, spacieux, et très bien équipé (notamment au niveau de la cuisine où il ne manque absolument rien), la literie est confortable, linge de maison, de toilette et même serviettes de piscine sont fournis. Nous étions 6 adultes et étions vraiment très bien installés, avec 2 salles de bain spacieuses. La piscine est belle, chauffée, grande, avec 6 transats Bref un séjour parfait pour nous, merci Arnaud pour votre accueil

A little slice of heaven!

A beautiful property in the countryside. Arnaud and Isobelle were so welcoming and went out of their way to show us around the estate. Sent over grapes picked from the vine and tomatoes. The garden is full of fruit trees and you are welcome to pick the plums, figs and apples. Goats, Miniature American Donkeys and large donkeys roam in the fields in front. There is plenty of space for children to run free and safely. One of Arnaud's daughters, Eve, runs a donkey trekking business, so perfect to take the kids out for an hour or two. You walk the donkeys yourself. The property was very well equipped and comfortable. There was no air conditioning as we had originally thought, but fans are provided in each room. Bathrooms are spacious, one upstairs and downstairs. There is a dvd player and some English channels too. Washing machine is handy too. The pool area is lovely and Arnaud kindly cranked the heating up for us. The pool area is well equipped with loungers and is a very peaceful and relaxing spot. A hard cover which you must use when not around the pool, protects the pool and keeps kids safe. You are about 15 mins from the beautiful town of Sarlat and 25 mins down to the Dordogne itself. Supermarkets are close in two directions.(Sarlat for a large Carrfore and Salignac for a smaller one) I would def recommend this property.

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday at Arnaud and Isabelle’s property. Situated in beautiful countryside, surrounded by their lovely animals, it was a very peaceful retreat. The property itself is very well equipped with everything you need. The pool area is great with lots of loungers and space to relax. Arnaud could not have been more helpful, booking restaurants for us, allowing the children to help feed the animals - goats, donkeys and alpacas - and recommending local attractions. The kids favourite part of the holiday was taking a donkey ride around the local area! Would recommend and visit again.

An excellent choice

We had a warm welcome by the owners Isabelle and Arnaud. Arnaud shared with us lots of information of where to go and what to do. We and our children had an excellent chance to get to know their animals, the donkeys, alpacas, goats, rabbits, and pigs. The donkey riding experience was very pleasant not only for our children but also for the adults. There are enough sightseeings to visit in the neighbourhood (around half an hour driving). The house is spacious, clean and tidy. The beds and shower are comfortable. We felt at home and enjoyed our holiday very much! Thank you Isabelle and Arnaud!

Reposant et superbe!

Pour la deuxième année consécutive, nous avons passé un excellent séjour : la location est neuve et décorée avec goût, au calme, et la proximité des animaux est un réel atout si vous voyagez avec des enfants. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, passionnés par leur métier. C'est l'endroit idéal pour se reposer et visiter la région extrêmement belle. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!
