Villa in St Clair
We had a lovely stay at this villa in June. The view was amazing, and we loved sitting out to eat on the terrace. We enjoyed using the pool and loungers, barbeque, dining and living areas. The kitchen was well equipped, with plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils. There was also a dishwasher, two fridges (limited freezer though) and an oven and two hobs (although one of the hobs was not working). The bedrooms were good sizes and the views from the upper rooms were lovely. There was quite a lot of garden area around the property and also some steps leading from the garden to the road below. Although a bit cluttered and dated in places, it was clean, comfortable and spacious - ideal for our two families. We were staying to celebrate our daughter’s wedding in the area, and the dressing area in one of the upper bedrooms was ideal for getting ready! It was an approximate 8-10 min walk to St Clair beach (the road is winding and quite steep!) and 20 min walk to Le Lavandou. Sylvia was responsive as a host, generally responding quickly, and advised on a few queries during our stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Déconnexion totale sur les hauteurs de St Clair
Nous venons d’achever notre séjour à 4 adultes et 4 enfants. Villa très agréable et spacieuse, vue imprenable sur la baie de St Clair, espace extérieur et piscine top détente. Nous avons aussi apprécié la plage de St Clair à 5 min à pieds et le Lavandou centre à 15 min à pieds via le magnifique sentier du littoral. Déjà très envie d’y retourner !

Disappointing
Whilst the location is excellent (although I should mention that it is up a steep hill so difficult for those with a buggy) and the pool is a nice size and temperature for a family in August, the villa was not at all up to the standard it should be for its price tag. Having stayed in many villas in the South of France over the past 20 years we were very disappointed. The villa was not particularly clean, and had only had a cursory changeover clean so we had no confidence on the real cleanliness of the whole villa. In this current COVID climate a villa needs to be thoroughly cleaned before each letting even more so than normal. The 3 bedrooms downstairs were terrible. The camp bed was totally unfit for purpose as it tipped over the second you sat on it as was the bed at the bottom in the basement as the dip in the middle was so ridiculous you could literally roll down it!!! The basement also smelt damp the entire time. One bedroom was completely separate from the main villa making it totally useless as we couldn’t sleep the young children in it nor could adults be away from their children (not mentioned in the description). The house is in need of a lot of maintenance as many items were broken (lights and door locks) or cheap or old (beds and sofas) and need replacing. One particular point to note is the lack of mosquito nets making it unbearably hot at night for families. It’s a choice of being bitten or boiling. We contacted the owner with our complaints and suggestions for improvement following our stay on our return to the UK. It would only take one weeks villa earnings to rectify the majority of the problems but our email was not received well.

Excellent séjour dans un décors de rêve !
Maison très bien située et bien agencée. Belle piscine avec vue imprenable sur la mer. Quelques tracasseries tout de même : Problèmes de plomberie dans la salles de douches du RdC et la salle de bains du sous-sol... La buanderie située au sous-sol n'était que peu accessible, car polluée par des problèmes de plomberie... (un sèche linge serait d'ailleurs le bienvenu !) Le clic-clac prévu et comptabilisé pour 2 personnes était impraticable, seul un enfant de 6 ans, pas trop gros, a pu y dormir... L'éclairage de la piscine et du jardin ont été découverts tardivement... 2 bonnes surprises également : La douche extérieure près de la piscine et son eau chaude bien pratique... Les escaliers qui mènent à la plage plus rapidement...

Bon emplacement avec joli jardin mais la maison avait besoin d'une rénovation à l'intérieur, y compris la piscine. Bien équipé avec service Il y a annoncé avec 5 salles de bains. On nous a montré 4 et Nous n'avons jamais eu d'eau chaude dans la salle de bain de l'annexe. La pièce au sous-sol sentait le sous-sol. Lit bébé et chaise haute pour enfants ne pouvaient pas être offerts. Le prix du loyer était cher par rapport à la maison standard

belle maison spacieuse
très calme, piscine agréable , vue splendide, maison spacieuse sur 3 niveaux, rangement limité dans les chambres, l'équipement de la cuisine est un peu juste pour 12 personnes (pas de verres à vin par exemple!), manque aujourd'hui la connexion internet. Séjour très agréable, un grand merci à la personne qui nous a accueillie et qui a été disponible pour faciliter notre quotidien
