Restored in quiet place, always sunny, with large enclosed garden and private swimming pool. Garden furniture includes: deck chairs, parasol, couches and armchairs, chairs for 4/6 people.
Private parking inside the property. The villa, not far from the town centre, offers quietness.

Fantastischer Aufenthalt in Piano di Mommio
Diese Unterkunft hat wahrlich die volle Bewertung verdient. Es war einfach traumhaft, mit der Familie in diesem großen Haus eine Woche zu verbringen. Ornella ist eine fantastische Gastgeberin, dank der wir sogar früher in das Haus konnten, was angesichts der Temperaturen nicht nur sehr hilfreich war, sondern auch durch den großen Pool direkt für die notwendige Abkühlung gesorgt hat. Das Haus ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es liegt traumhaft in den beginnenden Bergen und man kann abends wunderbar auf der Terrasse oder den Balkonen sitzen und das Grillenzirpen genießen. Wir waren begeistert und können nur allen empfehlen, hier den Sommerurlaub zu verbringen.

Great vacation in Casa Ornella
We had a great time in the beautiful house. Whenever there was a problem or question, Ornella helped us immediately. The pool is fantastic, the kids could spend all day there.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Der Pool war perfekt, das Haus war sauber. Ornella mit ihrer Tochter waren ganz liebe Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation war kein Problem, mit Händen und Füßen hat Ornella uns das Haus gezeigt und ihre Tochter zur Übersetzung dazu geholt. Wir kommen gern wieder. Vielen Dank!

The house was nice and clean, bathroom is maybe getting a bit old but still good enough. All the equipment needed for a weeks stay is available. The swimming pool and toys in the garden were highly appreciated by the kids. It’s a good location to explore toscan cities, the sea and the mountains.

Quickly Planned Visit To Italy
Ornella’s VRBO was just as advertised. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfort of our bed in the master bed. We slept extremely well. We were able to prepare meals, although we would have appreciated more kitchen utensils. We had guests in for dinner 3 nights during our stay. Finding the location was challenging even after the first trip to the residence. It is very important to be sure to include Piano di Mommio, and not just Massarosa, if you are using Google Maps or MapQuest. It was helpful to have Ornella’s daughter, an English speaker, present when we checked in and out of the VRBO.

Schöne Auszeit in typisch italienischem Haus
Das Haus war typisch italienisch, ein bisschen in die Jahre bekommen aber mit viel Charme. Eine Klimaanlage hätte den Aufenthalt absolut perfekt gemacht, aber Durchzug war eine gute Lösung. Die Gastgeberin, Ornella, ist herzensgut, spricht nur italienisch, weiß sich aber mit Händen und Füßen und Google-Übersetzer zu helfen. Ihre Enkelin unterstützt sie mit Englisch, beide waren jederzeit per Whatsapp erreichbar. Die Küche war klein aber ausreichend, die Betten bequem. Alles absolut sauber übergeben. Das Highlight war der Pool, der auf den Bildern tatsächlich kleiner aussieht! Die Kids haben dort Stunden verbracht. Im Dorf gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt, ein größerer Markt war in 7 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Fußläufig, drei Ristorante/Pizzerien, ein Fischladen, Fleischer, Bäcker, ein Tourigeschäft, Apotheke und eine wirklich gute Gelateria (2-3 Minuten zu Fuß). Ornella wohnt ein paar Straßen weiter, hat uns aber absolute Privatsphäre gelassen. Einmal kam sie - nach vorheriger Absprache - zur Poolreinigung vorbei. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön,zwischen Bergen und Meer. Zum Strand (es gibt leider nur wenige gute kostenlose) mit dem Auto 15-20 Minuten, Lucca und Pisa in 30-40 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Strandpromenade in Viareggio ist einen Besuch wert, Camaoire ein kleiner Geheimtipp. Für Familien mit Kids empfehlen wir das Haus, in dem man sich dank dem tollen Pool auch ohne Tagesausflug nicht langweilt.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft von Ornella. Wir sind später als gedacht wegen einiger Staus angekommen und wurden trotzdem spät abends lieb von Ornella und ihrer Tochter empfangen. Der Kontakt zu Ornella war problemlos von unterwegs möglich. Unseren Kindern hat besonders der Pool gefallen, der eine tolle Abkühlung war. Man muss wissen, dass die Strände etwas weiter entfernt sind und man ein Auto oder Bus benötigt. Eine kleine Eisdiele, Pizzeria, Einkaufsladen etc. sind fußläufig erreichbar und man bekommt alles, was man braucht. Wir fanden es toll und ganz liebe Grüße aus Berlin

Super maison avec piscine! Et hôte très accueillante!
Nous avons passé un super séjour dans la maison de Ornella. La maison est spacieuse, très propre, fonctionnelle, le jardin privatif grand et très agréable et la piscine, un vrai plaisir par les chaudes journées d’été! Grands et petits peuvent s’y amuser sans aucun soucis! Notre hôte, Ornella a été au petit soin pour nous. Elle n’a pas hésité à venir en moins de 5 minutes alors que nous pensions avoir un problème avec le frigo (mais le problème s’est réglé par la suite). Elle a été très accueillante et chaleureuse. Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances là-bas. Grazie per tutto Ornella! Abbiamo avuto belle vacanze nella sua casa!

Schönes Haus, gute Lage, toller Pool
Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön und genau so wie auf den Fotos. Das Grundstück ist groß und der Pool auch, auch wenn ich befürchtet habe, dass die Fotos ihn größer erscheinen lassen, als er wirklich ist. Die Kids konnten drin schwimmen und tauchen und wir haben sie kaum noch herausbekommen. Das Interieur ist schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist alles sauber und uns hat nichts gefehlt. Die Lage ist super, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, Bäcker fußläufig und wenn man mal nicht kochen oder fahren möchte, gibt es unten im Dorf Möglichkeiten essen zu gehen. Ornella ist sehr nett und sympathisch. Wir waren 2 Wochen hier und nach einer Woche bekamen wir frische Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Es gibt in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung wirklich viel anzuschauen und zu erleben, man kann aber gut auch mal einen Tag am Pool verbringen. Auch ohne Aircon waren die Nächte (August) kühl und man konnte super schlafen, auch tags kann man es dort super aushalten. Schade, dass es schon wieder vorbei ist!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und vor allem hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation war tadellos! Die Unterkunft ist mit allem was man braucht super ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Hier kann man nach einem langen Ausflugstag wunderbar entspannen. Der private Pool war das Highlight bei der extremen Hitze. Zum Strand/Meer fährt man ca 25 Min mit dem Auto. Sogar ohne Klimaanlage ließen sich die heißen Augusttage und Nächte gut aushalten. Alles in allem top! Absolut zu empfehlen.

Wir waren für eine Woche im Haus und es war sehr schön. Nicht weit zum Strand und im Örtchen alles was man braucht. Die Eisdiele war fussläufig erreichbar was die Kids am Abend perfekt fanden.
