Excellent séjour à Briscous !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison, pendant les fêtes de fin d’année. La maison est grande et spacieuse (nous étions 6 adultes et 7 enfants), avec un grand séjour / cuisine / salle à manger. Une cuisine complètement équipée et fonctionnelle. Comme c’était l’hiver, nous n’avons pas profité de la piscine et de la grande terrasse. Le village est très bien situé pour rayonner jusqu’à San Sabastian si nécessaire. Et un petit Spar, une boulangerie et une pharmacie sont à 5 minutes à pied de la maison. La communication avec notre hôte était également parfaite, et l’accueil et le départ se sont très bien passés. On recommande vivement !

Zeer geslaagd verblijf gehad

De villa is prachtig gelegen met geweldig uitzicht . Alles is voorhanden en de villa is ruim . Mooie keuken . Het verwarmd zwembad is een topper . Een kleine opmerking is dat bij aankomst de villa niet geheel proper was . Maar voor de rest hebben we een prima verblijf gehad .

SITUATION GEOGRAPHIQUE IDEALE

Maison situé en campagne, proche de Bayonne et de l'ensemble des villages du pays basque. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la piscine chauffée est un plus (eau a 29 degré). les chambres sont confortables et spacieuses et la cuisine est tres bien equipée. les chambres dans le garage (2 grands + 1 petit lit) permettent à des ado de se trouver a l'ecart des adultes, dommage toutefois que ces 2 chambres ne soient pas equipés de rideaux.

Une semaine vraiment parfaite dans cette très belle maison tout confort à la vue imprenable sur Briscous et les Pyrénées. Une belle piscine chauffée et bien conçue (pour jeunes et moins jeunes) et des équipements de cuisine complets ont été largement appréciés, ainsi que la mise à disposition de vélos électriques pour parcourir les environs ! Réveillon au Pays Basque entre amis

La maison est super pour passer un séjour conviviale avec adultes (6), enfants (3) et ados (2) : Il y suffisamment d'espace pour ne pas être les uns sur les autres. En particulier l'espace de vie ouvert est génial pour partager de bons moments tous ensemble autour de la cheminée, ou tout en cuisinant de bons petits plats dans la cuisine ouverte avec tout le monde autour de l’immense îlot central. Attention en hiver la piscine n'est pas utilisable. Le contact et l'accueil sont excellents. Que dire de la vue à 180 degrés sur la campagne basque et les Pyrénées ! Même en hiver avec un beau soleil, c'est un vrai luxe que de prendre le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse spacieuse qui surplombe la piscine avec une vue exceptionnelle. C’est une maison que l’on s’approprie très vite, pratique, très bien agencée. Petit message pratique pour le propriétaire : Un volet électrique au 1er étage est hors d'usage en position ouverte. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et garderons un très bon souvenir du passage de 2019 à 2020. Bonne Année !

Excellent holiday house and location, plenty to do and see, a lovely part of France

A great property for larger families or friends, kitchen modern, house bright and clean. Pool really good for everyone to relax around. Could have done with a few more recliner chairs by the pool as we had great weather. Only negative in the house is only one toilet upstairs for 4 double bedrooms (so upto 8 people). Owner left their bikes to cycle around the local area, and easy to walk up and down to the local village with a small supermarket, bakery, lovely restaurant. Easy access to the beaches at Biarritz and along the coastline, long walks, little traffic in the area. We had a lovely holiday. Dealing with the owner to get the deposit returned has taken a few weeks and several emails.

Excellent stay for families in quiet and friendly surroundings

This place was a perfect choice for our group of 3 families (14 persons). The house was even more attractive than the photo's on the Homeaway site. It had a smart layout, enough rooms and a big and very wel equipped kitchen for so many people. Together with the rest of all furniture and equipment, the large pool, big fenced garden (liked by the pet) and enough parking place it was more than complete. The town Briscous is small and quiet, so you definitely need a car for visiting towns and buying groceries. But the view from the terrace over the town and the rest of the natural surroundings was priceless. Many beautifull towns like Biarritz, Saint-Jean-de Luz, San Sebastian, Cambo were on a perfect driving distance and very worth seeing them.

Une semaine en famille

La maison est très agréable, les pièces sont grandes, à 12 (8 adultes, 4 enfants) nous étions à l'aise. La belle cuisine avec un grand îlot central contribue aux moments de convivialité autour de la confection de l'apéro et des repas. Elle est très bien équipée. La buanderie équipée d'une machine à laver et d'un sèche-linge permet de voyager léger. Nous avons aussi apprécié de trouver tout le nécessaire (produit vaisselle, lessive, papier hygiénique, huile, sel, café, confiture et même du vin) pour bien commencer le séjour. La grande terrasse est aussi très agréable et la vue sur les Pyrénées magnifique. La piscine, chauffée, a été plébiscitée par tout le monde ; enfants comme adultes nous y avons passé d'excellents moments. Des accessoires (masques, bouées) sont à disposition. Le jardin est grand et clos, en pente, on peut s'y ébattre et jouer à cache cache. Les chambres de l'étage sont spacieuses et la literie très confortable. Deux chambres sont équipées de SDB. Une troisième, à l'étage, est collective. Les 3 WC sont séparés. Des vélos sont à disposition des locataires. Le propriétaire et sa fille, qui nous a accueillis, sont très aimables et réactifs. Nous garderons un merveilleux souvenir de ce séjour à Briscous, au calme et à proximité des belles villes côtières (20 minutes de Bayonne, une quarantaine de Saint-Jean de Luz) et avec un panorama qui nous manque déjà !

Fabulous!

We were a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids). The villa had everything we needed from pool toys to pots and pans etc. The pool was just to die for as was the view. Loads of outside space for us all to enjoy whether that be on the terrace or down by the pool. There was also lots of room inside for us to sit together. The village of Briscous is sleepy but had everything we needed except a bar but that did not bother us. We didn't visit the restaurant but we did get takeaway pizzas from the bakery and they were great. Marie-Elodie greeted us and and made check in very pleasant. All in all this is a great villa and we had a thoroughly good time. Thank you!

Tout concourt à rendre le séjour extrêmement agréable

Nous avons passé neuf jours début août dans cette vaste maison où tout concourt effectivement à rendre le séjour extrêmement agréable : le calme, la grande beauté de la vue panoramique, la taille de la piscine, le confort des lits, l'abondance, la qualité du matériel, toutes les petites attentions qui font qu'on se sent tout de suite bien et, last but not least, la grande gentillesse de la fille du propriétaire qui nous a accueillis. Bref nous n'avons aucune critique à faire ( juste peut-être une remarque : il y a beaucoup de lits doubles mais un seul lit d'une personne, cela peut ne pas convenir à toutes les familles).

Séjour très agréable dans maison fonctionnelle avec vue imprenable sur collines basques

Impression générale très positive sur la maison surtout grace à la formidable piscine et la vue grandiose. Maison fonctionnelle avec de grands volumes. Accueil sympathique . Impression de se retrouver en vacances dans une maison de famille . Quelques petits rafraichissements sont néanmoins à prévoir mais cela ne gache pas la bonne note globale de ce séjour .
