Apartment mit wunderbarer Terrasse
Zwei Wochen Urlaub in dem Apartment habe ich sehr genossen. Das Apartment ist wie beschreiben. Sehr gut ausgestattet, mit allem was im Urlaub benötigt, und sehr sauber. Der Kontakt war per WhatsApp immer ansprechbar. Größere Besucher behindern die Dachschrägen in Bad und in der Küche etwas. Dafür entschädigt die wunderschöne Terrasse. Groß, sehr privat, mit Sonnenschirm und Grill, und mit Meerblick und dem ganzen Tag Sonne. Es ist eine sehr ruhige Umgebung. Ein Wagen ist erforderlich. Dann ist Calheta aber dank guter Verkehrsanbindung ein zentraler Ausgangspunkt, um Madeira zu erkunden. Bei meinem nächste Madeira-Besuch kann ich hier hoffentlich wieder als Gast hier übernachten.

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay. There was fruit, loads of avocados, nice talks and of course the beautiful terrace with sun from 09:00 until dawn. The apartment was very clean and fully equipped. À bientôt!

Die ganze Ferien Wohnung sauber und ordentlich mit einem schönen Blick auf den Atlantik.
Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett, spricht ausschließlich Portugiesisch und Französisch, was sich allerdings durch WLAN und Internet ausgleichen lässt. Die Terrasse ist ausreichend groß, bietet einen Panoramablick auf Ozean und Landschaft und es gibt einen fest installierten Holzkohlegrill. Die Ferienwohnung ist ein Dachausbau, als großer Mensch stößt man sich leicht den Kopf. Für den Weg zur Sandstrandbucht in Caletha braucht man einen Mietwegen oder Mountainbike, die 350 Höhenmeter sind nicht ohne. Oberhalb des Dorfes beginnt der Levadas-Tunnel nach Rabaçial und zu den 25 Quellen, eine einfache 4 bis 6 Stunden dauernde Wanderung. Die nächsten Supermärkte gibt es in Caletha am Strand und östlich in Loreto. Im Dorf selber gibt es zwei kleine Läden und einen Schnellimbiss; eine kleine alte sowie eine große neue Kirche. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig inmitten von Kleinstfeldern und ist allein über Fußwege auf den letzten Metern zu erreichen. Einzige gelegentliche Geräuscherzeuger sind der Sportunterricht in der nahen Grundschule, Wachhunde und sehr früh aufgeweckte Hähne. Gute Voraussetzungen für einen entspannten Wanderurlaub abseits von jeglichem Massentourismus. Wir waren die einzigen Touristen im Dorf!

Sehr entspannt, liebevolle Vermieterin
Die Wohnung liegt ruhig, umgeben von Landhäusern mit Gärten. Das "Highlight" ist der Balkon mit seinem wunderbaren Blick auf Umgebung, Gärten und Meer. Die Wohnung selbst ist nicht sehr hell, aber praktisch und auch mit allen erforderlichen Küchenutensilien eingerichtet und geeignet für ein Paar mit Platz zum Kochen und Essen im Inneren. Im Februar erwies sich die Elektroheizung zeitweise nötig. Musik (Radio) und Fernsehen sind beschränkt. Die Wohnung liegt ca. 450hm oberhalb Calheta, mit dem Auto von Calheta Beach in ca.7 Minuten zu erreichen. Bei Ankunft geleitet Maria den Gast von dort aus zu ihrem Haus. Ein Auto ist erforderlich (Parkplatz vorhanden), denn Einkaufs- und Essensmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Umgebung sind beschränkt. Von Haus aus ist eine Wanderung zur "Levada Nova" möglich.

Relaxing stay high above Calheta
The landlord, Maria Pita who lives in the same house is a very kind person. The apartment is well equipped for everything that 2-3 people could need and comes with a large outdoor terrace, including a BBQ. Private parking is available, having a car is highly recommended. Very quiet, good access to Paul do Serra and Calheta and the west of the island. Just a great apartment with a kind person who takes great care about it. Given the rural character up in the hills of Lombo do Dotour, there may be some tiny ants and lizards around. Reliable and good speed Internet connection.

Here every dimension ofMadeira can be fully enjoyed
Very pretty apartment with everything available what you need. Huge terrace with a wonderful sight. The location is ideal for trekking in the mountains and spending some time at the beach in Calheta (5 min by car). Very nice and helpful landlady, who speaks Spanish and French fluently and English quite well.

Madeira is also great at christmas
Very good equipped apartment, a nice view. We used busses to move around to enjoy slowlyness. We celebrated christmas here, the weather was nice and quite warm. Calheta was full of flowers. We had a nice breakfast at marias bar with good coffee and delicous empenadas. Maria helped us with all kind of information, she speaks good english.

Super vacances à Madère
Nous avons passé un séjour en famille (deux adultes et deux enfants - 7 ans et 15 mois) dans l'appartement de Mme Pita. Ce dernier est bien plus grand que ce qu'on pensait au vu des photos. Tout est très propre, bien organisé et fonctionnel. Nous sommes restés 2 semaines et nous avons vite fait de nous sentir chez nous. Le balcon est super avec une vue sur la mer au loin qui est vraiment sympa. Calheta a été pour nous un très bon point de départ pour nos déplacements quotidiens. Vous êtes à 1h de voiture de l'aéroport. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu rencontrer Mme Pita, car absente pour raison de santé, mais grâce à ses conseils et différents messages en amont, tout s'est très bien passé et nous la remercions vraiment beaucoup pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité par messagerie. Nous lui souhaitons également un très bon rétablissement et encore merci Maria. Deux conseils perso : - n'hésitez pas à demander à Maria ce qui est dispo ou non à l'appartement (nous avons ramener pas mal de choses qui était déjà sur place ...) - Il est indispensable d'avoir un véhicule (qui à une place réservé dans un parking fermé et non en bord de route ça peut avoir son importance pour les voitures de locations...) pour se rendre ne serait ce qu'à la plage ou sinon prévoir par taxi (environ 8 euros pour aller à la plage)

Bons souvenirs de Madère
Situation et description correspondent à l'annonce.Location parfaitement propre, très calme et conviviale,quelques mots échangés avec les voisins et Madame Maria Pita,bien qu'absente nous a contacté 2 fois pendant la semaine afin de savoir si tout se passait bien et nous donner quelques conseils. Un conseil,partir avec un traducteur ou une appli sur tél quand on vit au milieu des Madériens même si on arrive presque toujours à se comprendre.

Superbe location

Un petit paradis
Merci Maria pour ce séjour charmant! Nous avons vraiment profiter de notre séjour à Calheta, à Madeira et surtout dans votre appartement! Le petit appartement était très propre et encore plus bien équipé, néanmoins l'avantage le plus grand de cet appartement charmant et la terrasse formidable. Il était vraiment merveilleux de prendre le petit déjeuner en regardant la mer. Le propriétaire, Maria Pita, est non seulement super sympa et gentille, mais elle donne aussi des conseils très détaillés et facile à suivre en tout ce qui concerne l'île: que ce soit les chemins de randonnées, des marchés ou de petits villages pittoresques. Nous aimerons vraiment y retourner un jour!

Que du bonheur!
Nous recommandons cette location, avant tout pour l'accueil exemplaire de Maria. La location est très agréable, propre et douillette. La vie au milieu des Madériens est très enrichissante et avons beaucoup apprécié le calme. Home from home
My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay in Maria's accommodation. We rented a car for our week stay and this was definitely a good idea. The roads are simple to navigate but we would not have found Maria's place without her help. Although she speaks little English we arranged to meet at the supermarket by the beach in Calheta and we followed her to the accommodation. From then on we found it easily. It was a beautiful quiet setting up the hill with amazing views of the mountains and sea. Maria gave us plenty of privacy but was also kind and gave us some of a tart she had baked as well as fruit, biscuits and Madeira wine on arrival. We enjoyed walking around the local area and has some good chats with the locals. The nearby 'snack bar' had English speaking staff and made tasty chips and traditional meals. Madeira is a beautiful island and with the extremely kind hospitality of Maria we had a very special and memorable stay.

Accueil Madérien par excellence
Séjour merveilleux chez l'habitant. Maria nous a accueilli dans son petit appartement confortable avec une magnifique terrasse, vue sur la mer. Le logement est parfaitement situé entre promenades en bord de mer et promenades sur de beaux sentiers de randonnées. L'accueil était très chaleureux et pleins de bons conseils pour découvrir l'île, ses habitants, sa restauration et ces trésors cachés.

Fantastique
Nous avons passé de superbes vacances à Madère car nous y étions très bien logées. C'est un logement très bien situé à 30 min de Funchal, dans un quartier calme . La propriétaire est très sympathique ( parle français) , souriante et surtout aux petits soins pour ses locataires ! Des vacances inoubliables!
Nous sommes venus 10 jours au mois de février avec notre fille de 13 ans et nous avons passé de superbes vacances! Le logement est cosy et bien équipé. La terrasse est super agréable avec une vue bien-sûr sur la mer mais aussi sur les jardins cultivés par les voisins. C'est très calme et reposant. On vit parmi les madériens loin des touristes! Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir notre hôte sur place qui est une personne d'une extrême gentillesse. Elle nous a traités comme des membres de sa famille et nous la remercions encore!

Superbes vacances !
Nous avons passé des vacances très reposantes dans ce lieu ! Il s'agit d'un appartement sous les toits d'une maison de campagne sur les hauteurs de Calheta. Vu imprenable sur la mer, aussi bien le petit-déjeuner que l'apéro du soir sera accompagné d'un grand soleil ! N'hésitez pas à prendre le temps pour parler à l'hôte "Maria" qui déborde d'énergie et qui est de bon conseil, même si vous avez le temps prenez un verre avec elle c'est une personne à rencontrer ! Nous recommandons vivement cet appart pour passer un séjour au calme dans un lieu encore préservé du tourisme de masse !
