Fantastic Stay

Firstly the hosts are excellent! Great communication and extremely friendly, you could not have better hosts! The property itself was very clean and had all amenities needed for a week stay! We stayed over New Year for a skiing holiday! The village itself is long and the property is at one end! It is a 2 minute walk to ski hire shop (only one in village from what I could tell). Although we never used the ski bus to the ski lift is also a 2 minute walk! The lift is not a walkable distance. The village is quiet, a few restaurants (need booking in advance) and a couple places for a beer! The only pizzeria is next to the ski lift so not walkable! Cervinia is a much more likely village with loads of places to eat (need to book). We used our car to drive to Cervinia each morning as my youngest son had lessons booked(no spaces in Valtournenche). There is plenty of free parking but need to get there early. The skiing was fantastic, a great area for beginners and intermediates! Wide slopes and we had loads of snow! If you have young children learning to ski then Valtournenche has better facilities! The ski passes are expensive(than was expecting)! I would strongly advise not to buy the international pass to get to Zermatt! Only buy the daily upgrade! During our stay the connection to Switzerland was closed every day due to high winds so we never got to ski on the Matterhorn glazier or into Zermatt which was the only disappointment of the holiday!

Mehr Schein wie Sein !

Einen Tag vor Anreise erfuhren wir,der Check in ist um 18Uhr! Die Bitte um einen früheren Termin wurde abgelehnt.wir warteten vor dem Haus bis 18.05! Als wir im Nebenhaus klingelten kam die Tochter der Vermieterin, die schon seit Stunden zuhause war, und übergab uns den Schlüssel mit dem Kommentar Mutter muss arbeiten. Das „Doppelbett „ ist maximal 1,30 m breit mit einer erhöhten Holzumrandung. Die Matratzen stark durchgelegen. Diese Kombination führte dazu, dass wir nur sehr schlecht schliefen, und uns beiden der gesamte Rücken wehtat. Die „Couch“ im Wohnraum ist ein Zusatzbett und so hart, dass man auch hier nicht lange sitzen konnte, es blieben nur die Stühle. Die Vermieterin haben wir in den 10 Tagen nicht einmal gesehen! Die Kücheneinrichtung ist alt und unzureichend z.B. kein Dosenöffner. Es hätte auch darauf hingewiesen werden müssen, dass die Zufahrt von der Hauptstraße für große PKW sehr schmal und bei Schnee nur mit 4WD oder Ketten befahrbar ist. Wir sind wegen unserer starken Rückenschmerzen vorzeitig abgereist!

TUTTO PERFETTO!

Casa molto accogliente e dotata di ogni comfort, giardino esterno con diversi giochi per bambini che gentilmente i proprietari mettono a disposizione. Posizione tranquilla in via interna ma comunque vicina al paese che è raggiungibile a piedi. A pochi Km da Cervinia e da diversi itinerari interessanti. Enzo e Valentina davvero molto disponibili e carini per qualsiasi esigenza! Non possiamo che dire grazie per questi 10giorni di pace e merende a base di lamponi appositamente raccolti per la nostra bimba! DAVVERO SUPER CONSIGLIATO!

Séjour au ski

L'appartement de Valentina et Enzo est charmant et impeccable, tout comme l'accueil adorable des 2 propriétaires. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable, sous le soleil et les skis aux pieds ! La région est magnifique et Valtournenche est un village très calme, parfait pour des vacances en famille. Le domaine skiable est immense (Cervinia et Zermatt). Nous recommandons sans hésitation cette location qui est parfaite pour un couple et un enfant .

Meravigliosa

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di trascorrere due settimane in questo appartamento. Difficile riuscire in poche parole a descrivere quanto ci siamo trovati bene. Valentina e la sua famiglia ci hanno fatto sentire davvero a casa mettendoci a disposizione persino tantissime cose per la nostra piccola di 4 mesi. La casa é fornita di qualunque comoditá, lavatrice, microonde, tavolo e sedie in giardino. Non potevamo chiedere di meglio. Grazie
