Water View Place -Hot Tub! This cozy and contemporary southwest-facing home offers a stunning view of Haro Strait and the Olympic Mountains. Spectacular water views make it ideal for seasonal whale watching. High vaulted ceilings expand this multi- bedroom home. The modern kitchen is well-stocked to make meal planning a breeze and offer a fantastic view while doing so. Guests can eat at the breakfast bar or enjoy the adjacent dining table seated by the southwest facing windows.

The comfortable living room offers seating for everyone to enjoy a movie or show on the Smart TV. Family time can be shared on the deck with the 4-seater table and BBQ.

There is a bathroom on each floor conveniently located by the bedrooms. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms on either side of the full bathroom: the primary bedroom to your right with a private deck, and the Queen guest bedroom to the left. Downstairs you will find the 3/4 bathroom down the hall from the additional room equipped with a Queen bed. The downstairs of this home also boasts a newly remodeled game room! A pool table and ping pong table (can be converted) and a foosball table are supplied for guest-use! A gas fireplace and wood floors add to the warmth of this home making it perfect for all seasons.

This home does not have Air Conditioning. Opening the deck doors to let the ocean breeze in is adequate to cool this home.

Water View Place is nearby to beaches and hiking trails. Just 5 minutes down the road you will find historic American Camp, Mt. Finlayson, South Beach, or the Cape San Juan Lighthouse. (Discover Pass required at some locations)
**Please Note** Though the home is very private, there are caretakers living in a separate cabin on the property. The living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms are located on the second level.

Booking was easy and directions / instructions for our accommodations were simple. We arrived to a beautiful property and were welcomed with an exceptionally delicious gift basket of goodies! The house had everything we needed and more, and the beds were a dream to sleep on. We worked remotely during our stay and were able to host multiple video calls and conferencing with ease thanks to the speedy WiFi.If you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable and relaxing vacation rental with stunning views, you can’t beat this location. Tucked away on the west side of San Juan Island, there are lovely views of the water from the deck where you can watch the sunset. We witnessed several pods of Orcas swimming in the cove in front of the property each morning, it was an absolute dream! The best part of this stay is surely the absolutely adorable family of Friday Harbor foxes that reside on the island. Every day of our stay, we watched them frolic around the fields in front of the home and play with each other. I never expected such great wildlife from this vacation rental—it was such a welcome surprise and made our trip that much more memorable. I can’t wait to return to the San Juan Islands and will absolutely be booking this rental for my next trip. Overall, it was perfect for our needs and made for such a lovely vacation. My only regret is not staying longer!

My goodness! This place was absolutely stunning! Very tranquil. Clean! The host, Debbie and Steve were awesome! Very well stocked and they have an amazing game room downstairs. The view was gorgeous and the added visits by Fox everyday to greet us were adorable to watch. If you want a quiet Place to get away, this is the place, not too far from anything..Thank you for an amazing experience and sharing your beautiful home!

Beautiful San Juan Island Oasis

The home was clean, a welcome basket overflowing with snacks was waiting for us, and the views were incredible. We enjoyed mornings on the deck facing the water views and even saw a fox one morning. The bed we slept in was comfortable, the downstairs game room with foosball/pool/table tennis was super fun, and the hot tub was very nice. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and some extras like syrup, and some condiments in the fridge. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay as we explored San Juan and Orcas islands!would definitely return!

Magical Surroundings

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our first vacation on San Juan Island was amazing in big part because of this house! Even though we had a wheel chair and disabled child to carry up and down the stairs (we knew of this in advance), the views and the quality of the place was all worth it. The hosts and the management company were most welcoming and accommodating. We wished we could stay longer. The home is very comfortable and spacious. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. We enjoyed the ping-pong and foosball tables in the game room. We used the kitchen and the outdoor gas grill to cook three of our dinners. A long stretch of the road leading to the property is graveled with the middle portion between wheels raised up. We had to drive our wheelchair van slowly and carefully in order not to scrape the underside very much. This wouldn't be an issue for most other vehicles.There was plenty to see and do within short drives from the house. The magical surrounding of this place are very memorable. We hope to be back some day!

Gorgeous location and sweet house

We had a wonderful time at this lovely and well stocked house on the southern end of San Juan Island. The house is situated in a gorgeous location with views of the Olympics and Canada and close to the best of San Juan Island (south end, west side) in our opinion. The house is very well maintained and stocked - comfortable for a family and friends. The game room was awesome with foosball, pool and ping pong. One of the best places we've stayed - a real gem - and the owners were very kind and welcoming.

Island Fun!

Loved the island and the home was really nice! Wish we had more information on where we could take a walk. Also was disappointed we couldn’t check in a bit early since we checked out at 5am. Otherwise, the property is nice! They left an abundance of snacks and lots of tea, hot coach and coffee!

A Magical San Juan Destination

This property was a magical backdrop to our family vacation. It was our first trip to San Juan, and the perfect introduction to all the island has to offer. It was located close to nearby adventures (a short walk to the beach and a short drive to American Camp and Friday Harbor — don’t miss out on 4th of July Beach!). The views from the deck were stunning, and the whole family appreciated the gift basket, game room, and watching the foxes at dusk. The hosts were very welcoming, and we only wish we could have stayed longer!

While the whales disappointed, this beautiful home definitely did not. The drive to the home prepares you for the seclusion and privacy of the property. The home is perfectly appointed with amazing amenities (my sister and I didn't use much beside the coffee machine since it was a holiday for us too!) and even had a game room on the first floor. I loved enjoying my morning coffee looking toward the water. The local wildlife was also a hit with our girls (foxes and deer). We didn't need to bother the hosts and from all accounts they, too, are amazing people. The San Juan Islands are magical and I look forward to bringing the rest of my family for a visit.

Beautiful House

My kids enjoyed playing foosball and ping pong in the game room and we all enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful water view. There is a family of foxes that live in the shrubs near this home and we enjoyed watching them frolic in the meadow outside the house. Upon arrival, we noticed a large basket filled with snacks, this was a very nice touch. The hosts are very thougful and the home is cozy and inviting.

A Dream Come True
