Start a summer tradition in the heart of Grand Beach! Located across the street from the lake on one of the highest points in the village, Sky Haven is the ideal gathering place for family and friends. Swim in the 20'x40' private pool, sit with your children in the smaller attached "kids" pool, or relax in the hot-tub just off the master bedroom. Watch some of the best sunsets in the WORLD from the back deck and soak up the lake breeze. Lake Views are partially blocked by trees and a couple beautiful homes across the street so walk down the block and have your toes in the sand within minutes. Playground, Tennis Courts, and Basketball is a five minute golf cart ride away, as is another beach access with a pier and creek. Don't forget your clubs as golf is just a two minute cart ride away from this ultimate summer escape!

Property is set up to deliver the BEST experience among family and friends with all the essentials provided by life-long Grand-Beacher: Free Golf Cart Use; Two Kayaks; Fifteen Beach Chairs; Fully Equipped Kitchen with Extra Oven Below Counter; Two Refrigerators; Dining for Twelve+ Indoors or at Enormous Outdoor Table; Billiards Table in Basement; Three Separate Living Areas with Couches and HDTVs; Gas Grill; Charcoal Grill; Outdoor Couches; Chaise Lounges; Deck Chairs; Fire-Pit; and a Full Length Bar and Foosball in the Cabana.

The gigantic main bedroom is perfect for a family of five+ or just fine for one couple as it holds six extra beds in addition to the king. Two more bedrooms on the main level provide a king and queen bed plus ample closet space. The lower level hosts two additional bedrooms with four bunked twins and a crib in one room, and a queen in the other.

The beach is a quick walk away. Load up the golf cart with your beach chairs, and cooler (no glass), then roll down the hill, make one right turn and stop before you come to the edge of the dune. Leave the cart and spend a day on this secluded, residents and guests only beach. Once the sun sets start up a bonfire and drift away with the sounds of the lake!

Need to cool off and get out of the sun? Head down to the fully finished basement! Full length billiards table has new professionally installed slate/felt for hours of fun. Or, with ample couch space, disappear from the crowd and catch a ballgame on the HD Cable TV.

You will not be disappointed!

Sky Haven is an approved and registered rental property within Grand Beach. Please note that as part of that registration, we are capped to 14 total overnight guests, with a 20 person daytime capacity. (Counts do not apply to children under two years of age.)

Great stay at a great location!

Overall, we had a great stay! The house worked great for 12 of us, including kids. The owner was quick to respond and accommodating. The outdoor area was the star of the week with a giant pool and fire pit. Would recommend and stay again.

Great Family Vacation Home

The home was perfect for our growing family ages 1 years old to 68. Plenty of room for everyone and the pool is fantastic. The neighborhood beach is very rocky and was not suitable for our group. We did drive to New Buffalo Beach and enjoyed the sand and water. Would definitely rent this home again.

Relaxing location

We spent the week with our children and grandchildren. The kitchen was well stocked. Beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas along with the golf cart were a huge bonus. The host was very helpful and response time was quick.

Grand Beach

We had a wonderful time at this home. The owner, Robert, was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The home was perfect for our large multi generational group. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained…pool, foosball, billiards..and the golf cart was an added bonus. We hope to be back!

Great Week in Grand Beach

The property is as promised. It suited our family perfectly for the week, with plenty of rooms and beds for three couples and four children. The golf cart was clutch and got us to the beach, the park, and (of course) the golf course. Two refrigerators were also useful...one for food and one for beverages. The key feature of the home, however, was the pool. Clean, a great size, and a real draw for our grandkids during the week. Finally, Robert was excellent...responsive, and informative. Overall, it was a great week!

Carmichael Grand Beach Week

Sky Haven is a Dream

What a Great Spot and Robert is one of the best owners I've ever worked with. I've been renting in the Grand Beach area for over 20 year the SkyHaven is a charming and wonderful spot. You don't need to bring anything except food and drink. All the best to Robert and SkyHaven!!! Kevin and family.

July 4th at SkyHaven

Our family had a wonderful time at SkyHaven last week. The property was perfect for our large group. The kids loved piling into the bunk room and the adults had plenty of space as well. It had every amenity that you'd expect and we really enjoyed having access to the kayaks, golf cart and fire pit. The beach and lake were awesome but it was so relaxing poolside that we spent most of our time there. Grand Beach is a great lakeside community.

Family Trip 2023

We had a wonderful week at Skyhaven! House was well stocked with every kitchen pot/pan/dish needed for large group as well as 2 refrigerators and 2 ovens. Large pool and deck were awesome! Only complaints were ants in kitchen upon arrival and downstairs bathroom had plumbing issue on last night. Robert was very quick to respond, and we would definitely rent from him again!

Wonderful, fun, spacious beach house!

Our vacation at Grand Beach and our stay at Sky Haven was wonderful! We came with a large party, there was 17 of us, and the property was perfect for our number of people. The space was great, sleeping arrangements were awesome, the home itself was beautiful, everything was clean and neat, and all the "toys" it came with was exactly what we needed! Having the golf course, Grand Beach beach, new buffalo, and other things close by like breweries and the distillery, was another plus. We'll be coming back again!

Beach Wedding and vacation

Robert was probably the nicest "owner" we have ever be in contact with. He responded quickly to my questions and needs. Even after we checked out, he still responded to me. Lovely home, near Lake Michigan. Met his Mom when we were checking in. Lovely person too. I took all kinds of product with me, like TP and soaps, but it was not needed. The house was well stocked. You cannot go wrong renting this property.

Fantastic! Would book again, Family Friendly!!

Loved Sky Haven! Evening family meals by the pool, seating for 12 or more outside. Pool and hot tub in great shape- played all afternoon, enjoyed the outdoor speaker system. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Kayaks and pool/beach toys for more outside fun. Family friendly golf course with driving range. Bikes for cruising. Beach was 5min walk, enjoyed sunset almost every evening. Cards and gameroom, pool table in basement. Master bedroom had King bed and 3 bunks. Basement had even more bunk beds- kids enjoyed the sleeping arrangements. We unplugged from the world- but WiFi and Cable TV available if you want to plug back in. Golf cart was convenient to get around- and this is a Golf cart community. Had a great time!! Highly recommend it. Owner was always available by cellphone. Oh- we didn't even have time for the Firepit- which had a nice stand and a grilling surface, skewer sticks for roasting marshmallows in the garage.

Misrepresented advertisement, poorly maintained, way over priced

We have been renting houses in SW Michigan for 10 plus years. Of the places we have stayed, this home is the most expensive and the most disappointing. There are items that we expected to have and to find while renting a home, and this home unfortunately, lacks many of these amenities and had many problems. • There was duct tape holding the floor in the master bathroom together. This is an unacceptable eyesore, which we unfortunately have to see every time we use the bathroom because the door won't clear over the rug. • No hooks - IN THE ENTIRE HOUSE - not even in the cabana. For a house that has a pool and isn't far from the beach, there is nowhere to hang wet suits/towels. We actually bought 3m hooks and hung them in all the bathrooms and bedroom. • There was a lack of bath towels for the number of guests that you can house. • There were weeds covering the entire property which is very unsightly. • The window treatments hanging in the big bedroom weren't hung right and fell down the first time we tried to close the drapery. The decor in general was lackluster. • Dead bugs and debris filled the sliding door tracks, especially in the bedroom • Laundry room was gross and not amply lit • Toilet paper holder in the hall bath didn't hold toilet paper and breaks apart when used with toilet paper • Inflatable pool toys all had holes • Hammock was broken and unusable • The house was generally unclean; dust and dirt under sofas and in corners of bedrooms • Most screens had sizable holes • All of our guests complained that the mattresses were uncomfortable • Cabana bathroom had holes in the walls • Grey bedroom light only worked when the fan is on, and bulbs were missing from fixture • Broken fan light in the main room over table • There was no small cabinet in master bathroom for toiletries (medicine cabinet is gross, and again since no hooks...literally nowhere to put your belongings like clothes, towels, etc...except the floor, which is being held together with duct tape!) • And ALL of our past houses have at least been stocked with basics like toilet paper (and really every one has had much more, but TP?!) The owner's response was that he would reimburse us for light bulbs, but not toilet paper. And he admitted his place could use some work, but suggested we look in a different area for updated accommodations. Stay here if you want to cram a bunch of people together; don’t if you want to feel like you’re on vacation.

Grand Beach Rental

The house was well stocked and very comfortable. The swimming pool became our second home, we walked to the beach every night to see the gorgeous sunsets, and late night star watching. A truly memorable time to create new memories.
