About this property

Le Moulin de la Badelle - A mill in Provence, in the heart of the Luberon.

Our mill is located in Goult in the golden triangle of the Luberon.
Built in a quality environment, it has been completely renovated with noble materials. Each of its rooms has kept its old charm and mixes old furniture and contemporary comfort.
On the ground floor are a living and dining room, a kitchen, two bedrooms as well as two bathrooms and a patio.
An internal staircase will lead you to the first floor which offers a third bedroom with two single beds. Then the ascent continues until the "keep", under the wings of the mill, where the whole mechanism is visible and where it is good to rest.
Outside, a magnificent 360 ° panorama will allow you to discover the villages of Bonnieux, Roussillon, and the plain of Gordes. Surrounded by vineyards, the tree-lined garden will seduce you with its diversity and its swimming pool will refresh you during hot summer days.
You will have lunch in the shade of the fig tree on what was the millstone (year 1846), and you can opt for a nap on the deckchairs, protected from the sun by the mulberry trees by the pool.
Our mill is a true haven of peace, an ode to nature and serenity, an Eden. We wish you to spend sweet and happy moments.

Endroit magique
Atypique et exceptionnel, le moulin est un ravissement pour les yeux et le coeur. On ne peut rester indifférent à l'atmosphère qui s'y dégage. Le charme opère indéniablement dans le moulin dont l'authenticité a été préservée avec beaucoup de goût et amour. Chaque endroit, chaque objet racontent une histoire. Ne cherchez plus, le paradis sur terre est ici ! Un grand merci à Julie et M.Vallauri pour leur gentillesse à notre égard.

Great Place to Relax in Provence
The windmill is beautifully renovated and has a picturesque setting -- it is a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Located outside of the small town of Goult (which has several good restaurants as well as basic French shops -- bakery etc.), it is a good base for seeing much of provence. Also, it is a great place just to hang out and relax. The pool is small but sufficient for cooling off and for kids to play in and provides an excellent place to enjoy the setting. There are a couple of different places outside to eat meals with excellent views -- grilling dinner is to be recommended (the kitchen is small but well-equipped). Because it is a renovated windmill there are some quirks, the rooms are oddly shaped and some ceilings are low. Cell phone and internet signals struggle with the stone walls. But it really is a great place for a family or perhaps two couples to stay.

Terrific vacation-stay in a terrific vacation area
The beautifully converted mill is a great place for a family vacation-stay. We happened to pick a really hot period, but the rustic and authentic stone walls ensured the temperature inside stayed very comfortable. We also enjoyed the nice pool. In the evening we would sit outside in the elevated seating area sipping wine from the Luberon region, playing cards and enjoying the light from the setting son and later a few candles. With Goult, Gordes and other beautiful old towns within short driving distance, not to mention the many wineries, there was always something to do. I hope we will find our way back to the mill soon. This will always be one of my favorite places

Séjour magique Dans un cadre de rêve ! Moulin magnifiquement rénové, chaque pièce raconte une histoire… la sieste sous le toit… Que du bonheur ! Le jardin, La Fontaine, la piscine, au milieu des vignes, des oliviers et des lavandes : tout est réuni pour se reposer et se ressourcer ! Merci à l’accueil de Julie et de toute sa petite famille, plein de chaleur et d’émotion pendant la visite des lieux. Nous n’avons qu’une envie : revenir dès que possible !

Un magnifique cocon
Moulin rénové avec beaucoup de goût et respect d'authenticité . Au calme sans être isolé. A mon avis idéal de 2 a 4 personnes même si couchage pour plus. Vraiment magique comme endroit. Accueil sur place également parfait. Bonne adresses de restauration autour...bref.. tres content de notre séjour !

The location is wonderful. The windmill is between Gordes and Gault with easy access to many interesting villages and sites. Plus, there are excellent views of the Luberon Valley from many points, including an upper patio. The windmill is lovely--very charming and well equipped. It has been restored and attractively furnished, creating a nice mix of comfortable abode and idyllic landmark. The kitchen is well equipped, and we often cooked at home. The pool was perfect after a hot day of sightseeing, and there is a well-equipped outdoor kitchen. Our communication with the property owners was excellent.

Perfect holiday in perfect location
A beautiful property in the most amazing location, right in the heart of the Luberon - a stones throw from all the most famous villages... Gordes, Rousillon, Lacoste, Bonneuix. We loved our 2 week stay. The mill is perfect for couples or small families. Beautifully decorated, well equipped. The pool area with outside kitchen is amazing. If anything the photos don't do this property justice.

INOUBLIABLE
Nous recommandons vivement cette location qui est située dans un cadre très agréable. Accueil très sympathique. Location très bien entretenue avec le maximum de confort et très tranquille. Nous reviendrons car nous avons été conquis par les lieux et leur propriétaires. Je précise qu'il est très rare de trouver des locations aussi bien tenues. Bon je n'en dis pas plus sinon l'année prochaine, nous n'aurons plus de place !!!!

Tres joli moulin et belle regio
Moulin plein de charme Pas tres grand cependant car tt en hauteur. Parfait pour un couple avec enfants mais pas forcement evident a 2 couples car pieces en enfilade (chambres). A noter pas de rideau dans une chambre.
